PoliticsRe: I Will Re-Construct Ijebu-Ode FG Road - Amosun by dayokanu(m): 4:40pm On Apr 09, 2013
Afam4eva: There's a reason why those roads are called federal roads. They are federal roads because they're used people who ply from state to state and not LG to LG. The job of state governments is to handle LG to LG roads and leave state to state roads for the FG. It's commonsensical and shouldn't require debates.
So Amosun should sit and watch his people die on the road because the FG isnt going to do his duties?

So if a Father doesnt provide for the house, the mother should sit down and not feed the family because its the fathers responsibility?

The amazing thing is that you havent realized how daft you sound and that its about time you shut up and learn

PoliticsRe: I Will Re-Construct Ijebu-Ode FG Road - Amosun by dayokanu(m): 4:29pm On Apr 09, 2013
Afam4eva:
Are all the roads in Ijebu and Ogun state tarred? Why must it be that one? There are other ways to ease the suffering of the people. Not necessarily by fighting the FG on a road that they own and control. Infact, if he goes ahead to touch that road without the FGs permission, he should be arrested and locked up. Nonsense.
You stupidity keeps shining through even when you try to disguise it in flowery language

Are all road of equal importance?

So if Ikorodu road an FG road is bad Fashola should leave it and go tar roads in Aboru and Iyana Ipaja which are State roads?

Ijebu road carries a lot of human traffic and is very important to the populace Its not a road that can be left in a bad state. The FG awarded the contract in 2010 and till 2013 did nothing

Once again I ask If your child is hungry during school hours when the school is supposed to feed him, Would you feed your child and deal with the school later or would you ignore him and change his socks because feeding is school responsibility while socks changing is yours?

Who takes APGA serious anyway. The Party was dead on Arrival
PoliticsRe: I Will Re-Construct Ijebu-Ode FG Road - Amosun by dayokanu(m): 4:22pm On Apr 09, 2013
Afam4eva: I think this is stupidity on the path of Amosun and his government. How dare he drag a federal road with the federal government. What is he trying to prove? I don't know why ACN will always spoil for a fight where there's supposed to be none. IT's like someone coming to my house to tell me that he must tile my sitting-room. My advice to the FG is to let him go ahead in his show of shame and never give him kobo. Next time he will learn to put his money in projects that matter instead of trying to do someone else's job whether the person is doing it or not. It's just not his darn business.
Its your own stupidity thats legendary on this forum

During tinubus regime when he placed sign post beside every FG road that "Sorry this is a FG road" everyone condemned him that why cant he repair it that wasnt it lagos indigenes that were suffering

So now you expect Amosun to leave Ogun citizens to die from road mishaps while waiting for the FG?

So if your children are starving You would leave them because the school was the one supposed to feed them during lunch time

You keep displaying your empty skull for all to see

Keep it up

Check this awards and see if it's only yoruba names that are mentioned there. You are an ethnic worm eating up nairaland. Achebe's legacy transcends awards, even award winners e.g mandela, gordimer, soyinka, adichie, ngugi, etc pay homage to achebe. You know why? Because he gave africa a strong literary voice when there was none. Go and hug a suicide bomber.

FamilyRe: Your Mothers "VAJAJAY" Thats What She Told Me by dayokanu(m): 12:00am On Apr 09, 2013
Pataki: It really takes two to tango. No woman suddenly has the temerity to insult her husband's mother just like that. It is a building up process. You must have said something in times past to insult either her own parents or her family. Not that it is excuse-able for her to spew such putrid talk at you, but I do not believe your side of the story summarizes the whole discourse.

Now a woman who spews this kind of gutter talk implies that you are either both from the gutter or you have poor taste in women. Conflicts don't just arise in relationships and the next thing is that either spouse are saying disgusting things about their respective in-laws.

Has your mother and your wife had previous altercations? How was it resolved.

To summarize my yarns, please search yourself. Correction of abuse in a relationship starts with one objectively reflecting on one's own action. Where need be, discuss it with a respectable neutral person to get their opinion about where you personally got it wrong. Until you are able to correct yourself.....no matter how right you think you are, it would be difficult to correct your spouse.

Cheers.
Am i seeing a pattern already?

Its the man that makes the woman act irresponsibly? Always the man at fault

Women can never be irrational its the men that push them.

I am thinking this is a problem in order to appear balanced now skews to the other side of things

Would it make sense to blame Men beating women on "a woman must have done something to trigger it"
FamilyRe: Are Most Women Emotionally Selfish? by dayokanu(m): 11:53pm On Apr 08, 2013
Pataki: LOL!

Does a nagging, crying woman make you happy or sad?

The simple truth is that: make her happy and satisfied, and watch her move mountains and hills even to the point of sheer stupidity just to see her man satisfied!
Does a sad man make a woman happy? The same thing can be said about a woman, Women make men happy and he would do anything for you, Empty his account, even take bullet for you like jack did in Titanic.

So the key to a man being happy is to make a woman happy. If you dont make a woman happy theres no way you can be happy

I think thats as self centered as any opinion can get

Isnt that what this thread is about? Being emotionally selfish

How about both give to make the other side happy? Thats too much to ask from selfish people i guess

Or capitalize on something even if its Biafra genocide, erosion in Biafra, Kidnapping in Biafra, Drug Pushing by Biafrans anything to win those prizes?

Someone needs to slap ndi ofe back to 1916 where they rightfully belong for the good of the world. If the Nobel prize was that relevant, the international media would have debated why Achebe did not win it when he died as that is the order. But not one mention. FamilyRe: Are Most Women Emotionally Selfish? by dayokanu(m): 11:39pm On Apr 08, 2013
If ones side job is to make the other side happy without consideration for his own happiness then its no way different from slavery. Slaves make masters Happy, Masters dont care about whatever makes slaves happy or it isnt important if Slaves are happy or not as long as masters are happy

Pataki: First of all, being a king is not just all about servitude and waiting to be pleased. Being a king/man is more importantly about making her happy at all times. If a man is not ready to give everything to make a woman happy, such a man is not ready for a lasting and loving relationship.

Secondly, women are not emotionally selfish. In fact, women express their emotions and feelings far better than men do. A woman does not know how to hide her feelings in most cases. They are the most easy to read object in this world if you are truly in a relationship.

Thirdly, let to appreciate that changes are bound to occur in a relationship. And only an open man will accept that come what may happen in a relationship, he would love his woman selflessly and maintain a loving communication flow with her. Simply because when all chips are down emotionally......you would know how to turn you woman back on to the first love you saw in her.
This was your first post it only states that a man needs to be ready to give everything to make a woman happy and never stated that women have any responsibility in making their partner happy

So if a mans job is to make a woman happy, Who now makes the man happy?

Are you happy now
FamilyRe: Are Most Women Emotionally Selfish? by dayokanu(m): 11:28pm On Apr 08, 2013
Pataki: What do you mean by slaving away? Have you ever had a woman crying (I mean literally crying) into your ears all night? Does that make you happy?

Do you think when a woman runs up and down for a man in the house is what brings satisfaction and true happiness to a woman? I have witnessed older generation men waiting for their wife to bring their food to the table and be served like lord of the manor, and waiting for the woman to come and clear the plates after they have finished eating. And yet these men pummel or emotionally torture their wives at the slightest provocation! And yet we wonder why women are emotionally selfish.

A true relationship is NOT about you. It is about US. Two becoming one. Her emotional feeling becoming yours to understand, love, appreciate and cherish.

I had a cultural shock when I visited an elderly couple in Nigeria and I saw the husband sitting like a chief ordering his wife around for food. She was sweating like mad cow, and yet this man could not be bothered. I wonder how such a woman can be happy emotionally and confide in her man when all day she has been running up and down the house like a servant for him!
So what is the solution?

Is it for the man to start slaving to please the woman or for both to strive to please the other?
