Please mamas in Ibadan using uch. How early should I go for antenatal registration? I am going there tomorrow.

My dear it's not for pregnant women. hsg is one of the routine test women trying to conceive go through.
HSG is an x-ray that checks out the fallopian tubes for blockages and the outline of the uterus.

HTB (hydrotubation) is used for unblocking tubes.

Abeg make una know vex o, my tori go long o, cos wanna start 4rm the beginning o.
Part 1
I was prep 4 my intro late 2015, when I started having Lower abs pains, I started going 4 scans, hvs n all, taking antibiotics, still same until after my intro Jan last year , a dr tolD me to start trying, so I did but was always once in a while since dh n I stays separately. A day after my registry was so sick went 4 scan n series of test n was told my appendix has tripled n has to be removed that's 2weeks to my wedding, the dr insist it has to be removed to avoid stories that touches the heart, so we did a day after my registry, it wasn't easy at all o, a week after I was discharged I started feeling sick, 3days to my wedding that's less than 2weeks after the surgery, it was soo bad until I did pt n it came out positive, we were soo excited but scared, wedding went well but I was patched up, cos I stopped taking drugs, I was throwing up, my incision site was bringing out pus, tnk God 4 my life, I was so scared my baby won't come out fine cos of all the antibiotics.

Part 2
1st trim was hell, I throw up all the time, feel dizzy, I perceive everytin, everyting irritates me, I was also taking care of my incision site, no appetite, it was so bad,my hair was out of place, I no see road, I no even know were my make up kit was sef.. 2nd trim was ok, I do shakara small, incision site had closed up. 3rd trim started, another wahala, my lo was soo active. I felt every kick,twist,turns n all, at a point I wasn't comfy with it again, I had to pray 4 grace n then lo was always kicking my incision site. Sometimes I come online to spill my mind n even cc some mama's but got no response xept 4rm dunni (sorry if I didn't spell ur moniker well) so I became an active peeper, but became frnds to suzy offline..

I have had abdominal surgery. Clean regularly. I was told then to clean up to 4 times a day. Don't cover up your incision site, let air touch it. Wear loose clothing and high waisted panties if at all you want to wear, I was not. I was mostly just tieing wrapper on my chest.

PUS IS NOT NORMAL.

But my HSG experience was really not painful. It was just an uncomfortable feeling and I did go about my business, after the procedure as though nothing happened. Didn't even bleed afterwards as some people claim they do. HSG was nothing to me. But if you talk about HTB (Hydrotubation), ehennn...that one got me seeing the angels. But not HSG. I guess we really all just react differently to things....Like one mama was talking about TT injection of all things hurting her and I was like wha in da...??

I have had 2 HSG experiences. The first one was extremely painful after the procedure I could not walk well and I spotted bright red blood For two weeks, had fibroids then.
The second experience was some months after surgery. I was prepared for the worse, I took red wine before heading for the procedure, I went from work, put the wine in an opaque bottle and sipped away. This time I only felt a little discomfort while the dye was being pumped. I went back to work immediately after., and didn't bleed at all.

As for HTB, I had it about 7 weeks after surgery, it was painful. When the pain was unbearable I was given an injection to relieve me. The HTB pain is worse than HSG.

I bought mine 1550 in Benin. It can be taken at anytime during your cycle.
I took mine 2 tablets twice morning and evening.

But your cycle is pretty stable now, it's within a range of plus or minus 3days. Pls be careful, I heard m2tone can mess up cycle when it's already stable.
Other mamas with experience, kindly comment and correct me if I'm wrong.

I used m2tone and it didn't mess up my cycle. Instead it stopped it from fluctuating between 24 days to 28days and made it a steady 25 days cycle.

I agree. I had a 24/25 days cycle too(I'm presuming I still do)....occasionally 26 days n got very dark positive on hpt on CD25. Though I don't know when I ovulate cos I don't get clear ovulation signs

Yeah. I also got a dark positive on cd 26. I would have gotten it on cd 25 considering how dark and fast the lines showed. I initially wanted to wait until cd 28 cos I was tired of disappointments. What gave me mind to test was I had sore nipples which I never have around the time af is due.

Congrats to Favouredi,wish you a healthy 9months.@Mummy JJ cramping during the 2WW can be indicative of either AF or pregnancy, same symptoms but, has 23/24days been your cycle right from time ? Cos it appears to have a short luteal phase but I may be wrong though.

Not necessarily, I had a 24 /25 cycle. She is most likely not ovulating on cd 14. Like me I used to ovulate on cd 10 or 11. If her cycle was less than 21 then it would be an issue.

Please everyone am in CD 18 of a 23 or 24 day cycle and am cramping abit. Is it normal? Also mummies that have gotten their BFP did you cramp like you were going to get your period? Thanks

I didn't cramp but I had this pinching pain In my lower right abdomen around cycle day 20 ish I remember it was at night. I placed my hand on my tummy and I said implant well my baby then said a prayer and slept.

It was 12,600,as at January 2016, wen I registered der sha, dunno if dollar ish wuld hv affected d reg fee too, d fee includes costs for tests, scan..... But hv to go along wt a scan result. Hope it helps

Happy new year mothers. Please pray for me to conceive this month as I've been TTCing for a year and three months and I'm in the two week wait. Medical science hasn't found anything wrong with me and hubby. I pray i post my BFP soon and WIDD in Jesus name.
