I can bet it with my last kibosh that nothing will eventually happen to Bukola Saraki at the end of the day, he will still continue to be the Senate president and Tinubu, Akande , lai Muhammed et al will still continue to find ways to tame him... Till 2019

What people don't really know about Bukola Saraki Include

1.He is the first child of the former Senate majority leader Dr Olusola Saraki. He has gone through his father's political tutelage and he understand the intricacies of Nigeria politics


2.He was the last 'successful' chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum he knows how to playp Nigeria politics well! Well!! base on his experience


3.Though a medical doctor by training, he comes from a state where virtually every elite in that state is a lawyer... Kwara state has the highest concentration of legal practitioners in Nigeria (Wikipedia is your friend) So they know how to rap with the laws. That is why CCB will just shout and shout the man will still continue to be the Senate president. .. Even the emir of the state is a former justice of Nigeria


4.There are thousands upon thousands of Alfas in Kwara state.. So forget any issue of spirituality that might go against Bukola Saraki majority of the Alfas in that state are in his support.


5. Bukola Saraki has so much court connection within and outside Nigeria. Every captain of industries in Nigeria are his loyal friends, most of the emirs, Obis, Kings and Obas in the country are his friend.

Fuji star, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma has reacted to the suspension of a Redeemed Church Pastor, Toyin Ogundipe who was said to have paid him to perform at a crusade slated to hold in one of the parishes in Lagos Island. The Fuji star declared that, although, the church’s management paid for the show, it is never done to expect him to pay back the “artiste fee” saying, “the fault is not ours, we were ready to perform for them until we learnt of the cancelation of the crusade”.

City People reports that,the Pastor in charge of Province 20 of the Redeemed Church had invited Pasuma to perform at the Church’s forthcoming crusade titled, “Lagos Island Family Areas Forum” between Friday, October 23rd- Sunday 25th, 2015.

Pasuma’s picture appeared on the handbill advert and posters alongside gospel singer, Tope Alabi and a former band leader of the late Fela Anikulapo’s Egypt 80 band, Kereke Jike.

The decision to stop the programme was because the church headquarters felt the Pastor had gone too far by inviting a secular artiste such as Pasuma to its church programme.

A source who spoke on condition of anonymity said the organisers did not do a detailed consultation before going ahead with the programme. He also said that it was as a result of it that the programme was cancelled and the Pastor in charge of the church along with the organising committee suspended as they now await further sanction from the provisional headquarters for dragging the name of the church in the mud.

investigations by City People reveal that The Redeemed Christian Church of God clearly frowns at the use of secular musicians, a development which has been clearly stated in its handbook to Pastors.

please good people of nairaland help me check whether my invitation for interview at Nnpc is fake.

I met a friend at LinkedIn who claim that she work at fed ministry of finance. after seeing my profile she asked whether I would work at NNPC since they are currently doing replacement exercise. she directed me to one guy. I called the guy and submitted my email. after 2 days I received Nnpc replacement form in a docx format via the email. I fill and submitted the form. after 3 days they send me invitation for interview on 7th September 2015. the interview is on 18th September 2015 @ nnpc tower abuja.

I call the guy to inform him that I have gotten the invitation letter. the guy tell me that I should pay 70,000 naira. 40,000 naira now before interview for the secretary to workout modality to secure the job for me. while balance of of N30,000 to be paid after I have gotten the job.

so am confused. is it real? I did some background checkings on the guy and the woman. actually the woman is working at fed ministry of finance while the guy also work at Nnpc. but how come they are demanding money from me. or could it be scammer using identity theft of those people.

There is nothing like negligence here. If I decide to leave my appliances on, na me go pay the electricity bills. Blame the gaddem power company for supplying overcurrent or even the owner of the house for using substandard wiring cables.
