Change the flag. Green white green is okay but there is more to nigeria. What peace and unity do we have. They should change the flag to something more colourful

Politics › Re: Arabic Words and Letters on Naira Notes by dblock(m): 4:18am On Jan 31, 2006
What's all this crap about wether your yoruba or hausa or muslim or christian. I personally think the arabic inscriptions on the naira is cool. In educational facilities all around the world mottos are sometimes written in latin, now you may say what's the point of that is it cos latin sounds cool or something, it's simply cos latin is the source of english and many other languages and it is a knowledge language. Arabs wether we like it or not are a part of Nigeria's history, around 45% of Nigerians are muslims so can't we just sit down and think and realise itmmeans something maybe not to christians or athiests but it isa part of this nationnnnnnnnnnn. Now to finish of ona good note peace y'alllll and keep rooing for the super eagles

Nairaland General › Re: PHCN/NEPA Electricity Supply: Any Difference? by dblock(m): 3:19am On Jan 27, 2006
Nigeria's power problem is simple first-
1. Privatise the whole company and any other small company
2. Make the people in charge foreigners-They will generate the power and sell it to PHCN
3. so PHCN's job is to distribute (note if this steps are taken power won't be like in the states but we'll be wonderful, I know so because that's how electricity is generated here in New Guinea
Travel › Re: Lagos: The World's 5th Worst Place to Live In by dblock(m): 1:10pm On Jan 26, 2006
Lagos does kind of suck. But one of my uncles men that guy, just won't bow down to poverty he shipped all his stuff from America. Bought a stand buy generator put in maximum security. When I was in his house I thought I was in Us. Lagos stinks for the poor stinks for the average stinks for the slightly richer than average, but is okay for the really wealthy. Butta I'd rather live in Ibadan

Computers › Re: Internet Cafe Prices in Nigeria by dblock(m): 12:27pm On Jan 26, 2006
What I meant is the price of surfing the net is cheaper in philipines than nigeria not because of the average price in Nigeria but by the average price of Layi and Terry ! and co. It might be cheaper where you go. But it will be cheaper elsewhere in philipines, because it is simply easier to do buisness there, Cafes here are operated by chinese crooks so bandwidth prices isn't a problem
Politics › Re: Third Term Agenda <Vote, Comments> by dblock(m): 12:14pm On Jan 26, 2006
Is it true that Obasanjo will freeze NFA if Nigeria doesn't support His third term bid. If it is so then This Man will ruin Nigeria, if the country is not yet broken he will powderise the nation. What kind of a politictian let me not even say President, blackmails a nation. What is the world turning into, first Iran Blackmails then Naija. The End IS NEAR
Sports › Re: Will Nigeria Win The 2006 Nations Cup by dblock(m): 12:09pm On Jan 26, 2006
Nigeria can be compared to Cameroon in football, I don't see why you have to doubt. The Only thing is we're going to have to play like a real team. Cameroon has the advantage because they are already a team and a strong team too. While on the other hand the super eagles are a strong players. If we get together and play real even a 4-0 win isn't out of our reach
Politics › Re: Third Term Agenda <Vote, Comments> by dblock(m): 6:08am On Jan 25, 2006
Say No to Third Term Respect the Constitution of Nigeria. Anyone in a high position or knows anyone in a high position. say no
Sports › Re: Ghana Must Fall (amen)! by dblock(m): 8:53am On Jan 24, 2006
This stinks we better do better. A meet up with Cameroun is inevitable. We must build a stonger team. Cameroun is after the same thing. I predict Taye Taiwo and Mikel Obi will Have a good tournament but Once again only the experienced players can help us tackle Senegal. Ivory Coast, Tunisia and Cameroun if we meet which we will. I think it's Obafemi Martins, Julius Agahowa and John Utaka that can help us win the cup and maybe Okocha if he is in form. Kanu might sore a goal or two
