na wa oh, he had to ride a southern beat for bleeps sake, he doesnt have a drawl like t.i., neither does have a boom voice like luda, so he made it hoarse like jeezy or david banner, why are people getting worked up over that?!
Heyyyyy, be careful how u use the word HOARSE, grin
Eldee aimed at ma jugular for usin the right term, he called it "a new one".
Thank goodness sm1 else noticed the fact that it's kinda Jeezy-ishh, rather
than the Drawl and syllable Slurr of Weezy, oops i mean M.i grin

This is just online gistin' dude, no one is dyin. grin
But on the real u shud kno where im comin from if honestly
u talkin bout TRUTH and u listen to Boom, and then Badman
u'll see it's d same lyrics n pattern but no one said ishh bout M.i's pattern on Boom.
This nailed ur argument that u talkin bout Rhyme pattern.
So it's the voice!.
I admited he sounded different, big deal? I think not.
Final analyses, if he sounded Mi-ish, shud hell freeze?
Shud it be a crusade?
When i saw M9 lines in Mi's i didnt start a topic
i just mentioned what i noticed, plus i defended M.i still.
No one called me a M.istan then ooo, shit is just funny cheesy
M.i sounded Weezy ishh, star didnt fall
he sounded Ye-ishh PDP still in power
Vector, young chris sounds Jay-ishh i stil enjoy their works
Drake is soo Yeezy and he's so hot rite now
M9 sounds different on a track and all the internet goblins is let loose?

Okido, back n topic.
M9 sounds like Mi on "Badman"
I say Nope, he sounds hoarse(some call this a new one) tongue
Some say he was bitin M.i but later said they only pointin out the semblance in voice.
That view wasnt cuttin it so they switch to FLOW,that d  Rhyme pattern was M.i
With evidence from previous works we found out that the rhyme scheme was many
of M9 old pattern.
We'v also asked if M.i has pattented such voice, or pattern as some claim.
Also the issue that; is it possible to bite a biter?Taken from the premise that
M.i style is weezy's/yeezy's, so IF at all M9 sounded like sm1 wld it be M.i or Weezy?
Me think the voice used leaned more to Jeezy type than even Weeezy.
Heard d song and @least i didnt think t'was M.i rappin.
Same dudes were those sayin we cant say M.i used some of M9 lines even wit evidence
of strong similarity, bunchh of ilogical talks so where does that leave us?

They say they aint M9 haterz cos they got all his works, i ask aint that typical of Haterz?
They all up in your isshh but neva say good things bout u. Neva start a thread or contributed
to any thread positively. Its d perpetual negativity that reveals your core.
Cothey most active when there sth that could feed their hate,
they jump on every thread typin frantically most time abandonin facts, logic and sensibility

M.i and M9 are ma favorite 9ja rappers. luv 'em both and nothin wld change that even by
those always tryin to create strains btw 'em both.

Ok oooo, we'v heard. M9 bite M.i's voice. You win. Happy now?
You can now close this thread. Next!!!

That's bout 7 nu tracks, of course some had been put out earlier
Feelin Bring it back, I was there, DOA freestyle, Harmless fling funny shit, liquor(lick her) license grin
I'v always liked the melodious nature of OLORIBURU
Some niceNASTY lyrics by OD n M9 on Downsouth, dirty dirty dirty, "got a head from a chinese chic, her tonguefuws baad"
"listenin to Fela gettin MouthAction from a gurl" "leave her lookin like fatherxmas wit a white beard", eeewwwww
"That's the things" aint bad too.
"Journey so far 2" keepin it real track, no hypes, just strait up reality talk.
Generally, the trade mark lyrics still present so no digity.
Nice job on this mixtape , IMO

i like BP3.
Personally so far i prefer it to AG,BP2 and maybe KC.
It has a closer semblance to the old jigga.
Definately will do well, and if it doesnt hope RECESSION as Saurone
said will be good enuff excuse too for Jigga.
But personally sales has neva been the was i judge the quality of an album
cos a whole lot can determine the rise and fall of sale outside the content of the album.
I anticipated Relpase more than BP3 but as it turned out
im less disappointed in BP3 than in Relapse, me think.
Cant remember the last time i even played that piece of ummmm, work

~Sauron~:
I don't wanna get sucked into another Mode-9 debate or whatever.

By default, all Rappers write whatever they like in whatever format that pleases em and let the words make things into what ever line formation that we see fit, but regretfully, this isn't a productive means to produce consistently hot rhymes.
In order to harness creativity time after time, one needs to write their rhymes in a solid and defined structure of words, or a "style".

There are only about 28 styles in existence based on 7 fundamentally different structures.
Only 20 of them are considered usable and enjoyable to a listener’s ear/readers eyes which are based on 5 different structures
Mode-9 in his wisdom has been using a particular style in all the songs i have heard from him and his rhyme pattern/structure in the song in scrutiny is a total deviation from his usual style and by coincidence happens to be the same rap pattern M.I.'s been using.

I am not talking of the voice here. . . . .I am talking about the structure of his verse in that song.
@
Saurone
Wats up dude.
Thanks for the insight.
Now that we'v agreed that soundin Hoarse aint M.i patented zone.
As honest as ur view sounds it's still kinda flawed cos the track in Q
aint really different from some of the regular M9's.
Ok, so we move to the STRUCTURE.

Some of u guys already heard "BOOM" on the Mode over Premo mixtape.
The verses in that track happens to be the same wit BADMAN tho wit some
changes here and there, not in structure but in lyrics.
Ma Q now is how come nobody said isshhh bout the structure havin any semblance wit M.i's
or a diviation from d typical M9 pattern/structurehuh
Lemme tell u y, cos there was no structure change!!!.

U need to listen to M9's older stuff u'l know that he doesnt have just 1 rhyme pattern/structure
Listen to Oloriburu, u cant hide, Originality rmx(which i think has same structure wit Badman)
Nobody, and lots more and tell me u dont see different rhyme structure.

Dude . . . for mess's sake, how many times do i have to tell you guys??
I can't be a Modenine hater . . . I've not got time to hate on anyone.

Let's not drag this . . . I know the problem here, in your opinion, Modenine is too big to bite M.I swag.
But you'll rather admit that the style comes from Lil Wayne??
At least we're halfway to the truth here. . .

But you make it look like I'm meant to be happy with your compromise . I do not care!!!
We both know the truth, we both know this is more like Area /Choc Boys than Unstoppable/Lollipop.
I really expected you to do a Javalove on this issue. . . this give me hope, I'll hold on t the fact that not all Modenine fans are fickle.
@
Eldee

Yea rite! U aint no hater but u call people oppose to your views Modestan, that's so pathetic, really!
U aint no hater but u quick to jump on M9 at d foggiest gist that sounds negative bout the dude.
Are u ok?
Self delusion is seekin for next of kin and u gettin better qualified for it.
Comprehension of views that dont support urs has always been your Achilles heel and its sad.
The hottest of rappers hav jacked, and i mentioned it, i dont hav prob wit that, especially if it's style.
I was d same dude defendin M.i when he was been crucified for soundin too weezy&Yeezy.
For cryin outloud, Jay bites lyrics which is more critical than soundin like smone. Hell didntt freeze.
Ma point is if M.i didnt originate a style how can sm1 bite him.
How wld anyone bite a biter?(And it's u even callin it BITING)
Ok, M9 sounded HOARSE on the track, so wathuh
Lemme sound like u-since when did M.i patent or own horseness in rap game?
So much so that anyone who sounds hoarse is now bitin M.ihuh
It's appalin how u Eldee let pple off greater hiphop crime as BITING lyrics, but will
want to commit suicide cos M9 sounded this way on this track. ,
and u aint a hater, right? u soooo F-ing ridiculous!

U dont get called a hater cos u hate.
U r only called one cos hate is ur heart.
wat arrant puke?!
@Eldee- ur reply is always predictable, u cant help it, can u?.
Saurone, c'mon u ma man but times u trouble ma judgement of u being unbaise.
Obviously M.i switched style, e'rone knows he sounds like Weezy, He himself agrees
but says he's confident of makin good music irrespective of who he sounds like,
and i dont have any problem wit that, i luvv the dude to death.

Drake sounds like Ye, Young chris sounds Jay, and so on, nobody is dyin'
Badman, M9 sounds like M.i, puhhhhleaseeeee!
If AT ALL u wanna go that route it's beta u say he sounds like Weezy, cos we all
know that's who M.i took his swag from(And i dont have a prob wit that).
But the prob is dat i dont see Weez in the Badman track.

Now for reference, there couple of songs that M9 sounds kinda "hoarse"
Kinda like the way he sounded on Badman.
Quick top of mind is "the game needs me".
And i'm a Big fan of both M9 and M.i, so dont get it twisted.

aint sayin M.i does either. They have different delivery style
and they both do it well.
Friday Freestyle battle i'ma think Berg will merk M.i
But on wax i'l give it to M.i .Plus cos JJagz canlace some ill beats.

They probably are not popular or in the mainstream so we have no proof as to who came up with their names first in Rugged and M.I's case
@slimshay
That one is understandable what doesn't make sense to me is making use of your fellow musician's stage name a popular one at that that's just wrong imagine a character in 24 bearing Michael Scofield or Wole Soyinka calling his book "Things fall Apart" or Ellen DeGeneres doing a show and calling it Oprah or Pepsi making a drink and calling it Coke.It just ain't right

Back to the topic sha and if the Mo gbono feli feli freestyle on the Illegal Music mixtape is anything to go by then i dont think Iceberg Slim has a fighting chance i may be wrong but thats unlikely
1st, whether undaground or not the point is that i knew theAmerican's dudes 1st b4 our 9ja's own.
So lets not make excuses for some(ruggedy, m.i) and say it doesnt work for another(iceberg).
They all "guilty" even if circumstances leadin to it are different.

2nd, i think y'all sleepin on Iceberg, f'course im more M.i fan than Iceberg
still i think Ice is witty and lyrically sound to pull off a good battle here.
Yea local popularity will work for M.i, he would eventually win it if they go all out
but it aint gon be a cinch like y'all makin it sound. They are almost a match.

How will Ruggedman introduce himself.

Incredible blunder? Yea if u talkin bout the write up yes that is incredible blunder!!
Dudes r just vaccilations of emotions.
Who makes anyone the creative director of any artist?
We just always think we know beta wat's best for all artistes
If y'all so good at it y not get into the game.
M9 doesnt reply GhettoP all hell breaks loose that he's scared of GP.
Same dudes now will be like M.i shudnt respond to Iceberg call?
(that's assumin some1 wanna die is actually a response)
But aint it kinda similar?
Cos IMO M.i=M9 as Iceberg =GhettoP
, and M9 is even far bigger.
cos i see Iceberg as a more formidable foe to M.i
than a Ghetto P is or cld eva be to M9.

In essence lets allow these cats to do what they feel the need to do.
I said it wayyyy back on NL that M.i will soon have his own battle and foes.
now i feel like a John on the island of Patmos who saw the future.
It's on!

All u do is post and comment about Mode 9 and have almost nothing to say about any one else. Even if you do, its usually negative.

I don't think this song is directed at anyone specifically, however there's a rhyme that sounds suspiciously like it might have been directed at Mode9's "Badman" track

Hate on my style, hate on my flows, hate on my vocal chords
Just setting a BADMAN loose like they're open doors.

Hmmm, this could be a subliminal since mode9 did say

you're just a generic version of lil' wayne

on his "badman" track and M.I was referring to his vocal chords in his own rhyme!

Sha, i'm just saying ,
Nahhhh, no subliminal here nauuw,

Simplicity?? Then 'simplicity' must be the new 'daft'

This is why I usually tell people not to replace textbooks with hiphop albums
And you say I should feel bad for 'using negative adjectives' . . .
I'm sorry but I can't help but give you the truth plain ugly like your girlfriend without makeup.
I seriously do not know where you got that from
I've had more than enough to say about Sauron's obsession with Eminem . . . myself and Bamsyle?? Do you want me to list out all the times we've argued??
Im beginin to doubt ur cognitive prowess, honestly. Nev said u dont argue wit 'em dudes. im askin on this thread right now, Bamsyl' comment came late, y didnt u point that out, and Saurone's, and not related to the topic which is "fav. 9ja lines" but cos their point "gels" wit u, they can go on? , and i'm cool wit 'em both. Movin on,

There's nowhere in the world where the use of the word 'Java'  sounds like biting
You know your problem?? You modestans are new to words like 'confetti' and 'echleon'
Hearing it just from Modenine first makes you take a mental note attributing the ownership of such words/phrases to Modenine
Another rapper says it and  voila. . . BITING
I NEVA said that, u cant even quote me on that so take a deep breath, ok.
If u arent so arrogant wit ur knowledge, thinkin u kno e'rthin u wld understand i wasnt talkin bout mere words.
Even a lil' bride's maid knows wat cofetti is so stop being silly. Nobody owns any word, but if we follow ur parochial view then no one
not even Jz shud be called a biter, except in ur thinkin it's only verbatim usage that qaulifies as biting.
Plus, i neva said Mi bit or bites M9, for the umpteenth time all i said was INFLUENCE,
the part influence as againt biting that the all knowin eldee doesnt get still beats me.

Your argument is flawed and plain stupid . . . and I pointed it out c'est fini.
On the contrary Mr omniscient, u didnt point nothin out u only said it's stupid.
wat makes it stupid is still burried smwhere in ur chore, when u point it out dudes will reason wit u
and either agree the argument is right or flawed. Until u do that, husssshhhh!
It's easy to say sth is stupid, but often tryin to prove the stupidity of that thing reveals the stupidity of the person labelling it as stupid. I guess u are safer just labelling it than pointing it out.
