Shuku0kukobambi:Thanks. He obviously grew up on a very rich diet of lies told to him over and over again by his parents. It is usually a Herculean task trying to wean them off that diet even as adults. |
PrecisionFx:The daftest thing to do in a debate is to keep shifting the goalpost like you have been doing here. So your beloved IPOB fighting for the Biafra you so cherish has become a propaganda organization overnight in your brain? There is no opinion somersault you Biafrans can't get involved in to save face from a humiliating defeat in a debate. Here is a Vanguard Newspaper article authored by Douglas Anele (a non IPOBian Igbo): Check the last line of paragraph 4 and see where he mentioned May 29 1966 in citation of an Igbo targeted pogrom right under Ironsi's nose as Military HOS. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2017/09/phenomenon-biafra-8/amp/ I await your next goalpost shifting tactic. |
rebekah2011:I can't remember when last I saw a trade in the shares of NOTORE. |
rebekah2011:Hmmmm.... Notorious! Please what are the figures saying? |
stcool:I agree with you that it could see N2:00 on the long run. But for now......... |
stcool:NSE most invaluable lesson: Never fall in love with any stock. Watch your appetite at this stage. Time for exit from CHAMS draws nigh. |
Tolktob:I didn't doubt OGG's claims on access to insider info. January last year when no one had any reason to believe that SKYE BANK would join that rally owing to its obvious state of atrophy, the guy confidently announced that it would rally along like other 2 tier banks, and credited his position to insider info, and lo and behold SKYE BANK delivered the highest percentage appreciation in that rally. |

I am tired on lecturing you free of charge on the details of Nigeria's history. I will oblige you last on this. If you can't read books available at the national archives, then I can't help. Here is an article authored by an Igbo man who clearly asserts that it all started on May 29 1966. https://www.pambazuka.org/governance/most-tragic-day-igbo-history-29-may-1966 Was Ironsi not the one in power as of that day and on till July 29 same year? Is there any record of any action taken by him in response to that massacre of his kinsmen right under his rule? |

PrecisionFx:Here are the proofs from Google books authored by historians. Cure your igbotic ignorance built on the diet of lies you were brought up on. Check lines 5 and 6 of page 36 in this book: https://books.google.com.ng/books?id=wqN9BgAAQBAJ&pg=PA36&lpg=PA36&dq=Did+Gowon+ever+restore+Regions&source=bl&ots=MOPFoOCzyK&sig=ACfU3U1p0zvRa2Ec1iVVTs5hwBJfoZHhpA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjc9--x9vfhAhXnc98KHbOfBlQQ6AEwC3oECAoQAQ#v=onepage&q=Did%20Gowon%20ever%20restore%20Regions&f=false ![]() Check lines 7 and 8 of page 153 of this book: https://books.google.com.ng/books?id=in_Fakds9hEC&pg=PA153&lpg=PA153&dq=Did+Gowon+ever+restore+Regions&source=bl&ots=Da-K7TV07-&sig=ACfU3U3Jkrwr602Z1dHRSyLNPzS7JYoTgg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjc9--x9vfhAhXnc98KHbOfBlQQ6AEwDHoECAgQAQ#v=onepage&q=Did%20Gowon%20ever%20restore%20Regions&f=false PrecisionFx:The disease of the average Biafoolani like you is the programmed assumption that it only takes being a Yoruba to discover and denounce the evils your elite did which are boomeranging on you their kinsmen today. Those looking for the cure to aids are more hopeful of success than whoever might be looking for a cure to this disease perculiar to you Igbos. PrecisionFx:Does the above not vindicate my stance that you are a poor, very poor, extremely poor, student of Nigeria history? Hadn't Igbo leaders been dancing and smiling even far before independence.... specifically in 1945 and 1953 when thousands of Igbo civilians were massacred by Hausafulanis in Jos and Kano respectively? How better could Igbo leaders have danced and rejoiced at those massacres than their later coalition with the same Hausafulani owned NPC at independence? How about Ironsi's indifference to the 1966 Igbo targeted pogroms right under his nose as Military HOS while he kept on foolishly seeking a phantom national unity through his self serving Unification Decree? |
PharmAlfred:Lol. |
OakPearl:He most likely re-entered. |
PharmAlfred:It is very hazzy. You may just follow the money anyway. |
Mpeace:Those are the unrepentant fundamentalists, or do we call them the fundamentalians? |
onegentleguy:Wow! Just coming on and seeing the mountain of recriminations. Please don't let the cynical voices choke us your silent admirers out of your mind. It is a glaring fact that the fear of monkey hunter label is the beginning of wisdom on this platform. Please find time to answer the other moniker's question as to how one may be added to that your telegraph group. I am interested too. |
PrecisionFx:How long will it take you to realize that you are not deeply knowledgeable on Nigeria's history? The first thing Gowon did on getting to power was to restore the regions and return their autonomy. They remained like that for the next 11 months after which Ojukwu's irrational intransigence forced him to create the twelve states with the autonomy of their parent regions trickling down on them. Go and read before you disgrace yourself in a public forum. |
Tolktob:I think CAVERTON will be a different case. I expect it to be on full acceleration in a few days time. Though not a recommendation. Just an observation. |
A market of absurdities! Companies with fantastic released results immediately start losing while those which release terrible results immediately gain 10%. How did we get here? |
Yayira:That is it. |
Yayira:News behind the news. PharmAfred just posted it shortly afterwards. |
Yayira:Q1 bumper harvest expectation things. |
kolaish:Hmmmm....... |
735i:Couldn't be better said. Play the game as it is being played rather than according to the rules which are not really being applied. According to Gani Fawehimi; It is a form of lawlessness to try to be law abiding in a lawless environment.... |
PrecisionFx:Why not simply show your evidence? In fact Gowon restored the regions with his own Decree 9, and gave them back their autonomy. Go and revise the topic " The Public Service" in your SS2 Government textbook for a better understanding of the pivotal and exclusive role of the civil service in resource control. |
PrecisionFx:Stupid and moronic response. How come you were able to appraise as a 'daft' piece what you didn't read? The typical Biafoolani's means of saving face from undeniable truth. |
OakPearl:Coast still seems unclear yet, but hoping the rally is sustained. |
PrecisionFx:He ended resource control by unifying the civil services of the four regions into a single national under his control at the center. Thereafter, civil servants generated revenues for the center. Do you have any evidence that sequel to his Unification Decree civil servants still collected salaries from their former regions or generated revenues and remitted them to same? |
PrecisionFx:Very stupid Biafoolani revisionism. When Ironsi announced his Unification Decree, the Governor of Northern Region, Katsina, protested openly. Northerners staged riots and protests. The Governor of Midwest, David Ejoor, condemned the Decree. Condemnations also trailed it from the Western Region. But Ojukwu the Eastern Region Governor approved of it by gleefully announcing the next day over the radio that civil servants from the Eastern Region would henceforth be transferred to the Northern Region to take up headship positions. In fact the committee which Ironsi set up to advise him on the new constiution was 100% Igbo. So Azikiwe was representing Northerners in the parliament where he was advocating unitary system? It is like saying that Ekwwremadu was voted into the current Senate by Northerners as well as Igbos to represent his Enugu constituency? Are you sure you understand how representative democracy works? |
PrecisionFx:So of all the bolded phrases, you could only see "intense regionalism"? What of the others like "former regions", "Republic of Nigeria" as against "Federal Republic of Nigeria", "The regions are abolished", etc? |
PrecisionFx:He was inspired into it by Azikiwe whose preference for unitary system and one-Nigeria was in a representative capacity on behalf of Igbos who elected him to lead them. Moreover, only in the Igbo's home Eastern Region was Ironsi's Unification Decree greeted with conspiratorial silence unlike the other three from which open criticisms emanated. |
Odingo1:All your wailing is still on the fact that you can't deny the evils your fathers perpetrated due to their myopic greed and lust after other people's lands and resources. You Biafoolanis aren't ready to change shit because you already recently once again demonstrated your cowardice and slave status to your Fulani masters going by the suddenness with which you abandoned your hitherto cherished Biafra dream to queue behind Atiku in pursuit of the same fraudulent one-Nigeria your forebearers fantasized about. Inconsistent clowns! If you Biafoolanis aren't afraid of the Shadows of your Fulani slave masters, why did your supreme commander later order you to go and vote for a fulani Mafia and enemy of Biafra in defense of the same one-Nigeria you lots had denigrated and denounced for many years prior to the election? You are all cash and carry agitators. Did anyone in the SS tell you he wanted Biafra to warrant including them in the secession referendum you prevented from finding it's way into our constitution? Asari Dokubo already told you that you are slaves to Ijaws and all you have been able to do in response is to keep begging the Ijaws for unity thus confirming his claim that you Biafoolanis are unity begging slaves. When your slave masters up North gave you a quit notice, you as well begged them to reconsider their stand, yet you claim some nebulous boldness. What a shame! Much as I am not a Yoruba person, I have never heard Yorubas given quit notice from the North nor any Ijaw man describe them as their own slaves. How would you know the part of British law that provides for secession when you are a product of programmed thinking? Was there ever a time anyone promulgated a decree against secession in the UK or sponsored a bill to that end? That is the difference. |
