Sorry ehn, I feel ur pain

Yar'Adua is not ethnocentric compared to the others Naija has been unfortunate to have

Sometimes to get peace, you must fight wars

If not for the Miltary's offensive, do you think the militants will give up arms?

It will make them feel too powerful

As we have the Boko Haram doing today cos we didn't take them serious at first, using police to counter them.
Sorry. I feel your frustration. If it was Buhari that used such lethal force against Niger Delta militants, you would have termed him a demon.

A non-ethnocentric Yaradua could not do anything about his tribe occupational militia which menace started in his regime. I laugh in Swahili.

So you believe it was the military offensive that made ND militants give up arms? It is no longer the amnesty your likes credit Yaradua with?

Boko Haram became cancerous courtesy of Yaradua's order for the extrajudicial murder of the group's pioneer leader who was caught alive and supposed to have been drilled to reveal their source of sponsorship hence a better possibility to nip the whole thing in the bud early enough.

The only true leader with integrity.
'I know the election that brought us to power was marred by irregularities, I urge you all to join us to build a more peaceful and prosperous Nigeria' ----Umaru Musa Yaradua.

Electoral reform followed immediately.

He wasn't corrupt, he was a true Muslim, he never lived like a rich man , he wasn't an ethnic or religious bigot. A man of peace and peace was brought to Niger Delta.

Not this clanish and unintelligent globe traveller we have in power now
You mean the reform which ended as his rejection of the three keyest proposal made by the Uwais Electoral Reform Panel that would have revolutionized Nigerian elections once and for all?

You mean the 3,000 innocent women and children killed in Gbaramatu by JTF on his orders was the way he brought peace to the Niger Delta or his amnesty offer which re-defined and recategorized freedom fighters as criminals begging for state pardon? Did the amnesty address a shred of the issues for which Ken Saro Wiwa was matyred?

I am not surprised at your COMMENT.
Do you know why....??
The REASON is that PEOPLE Can’t be completely satisfied. Not even between Husband and Wife.
Humans are INSATIABLE
Are we talking of human insatiability or whether these were factual or fictional? You want me to be satisfied with a man who ordered the massacre of over 3,000 innocent civilians? Are we really this inhuman in Nigeria just for the sake of political correctness?

Yaradua was a good president but not without his own flaws.

Like Buhari, those who followed appointments during his presidency would realise that they were skewed in favour of Muslims also. If Yaradua must appoint a southerner or middle belter for any position, it was always in favour of Muslims.

Comparatively, he was better than his Katsina brother and collosal failure we currently parade as president. At least he respected the rule of laws and listened to the people.
Did he listen to all the wise counsels to allow Charles Soludo go on with the Naira Redenomination Project in genuine national interest?

If you cared to know, that's one of Yaradua's negatives. The kind of deep hatred some of these Fulani political elites have for themselves is unimaginable. Just like you wouldn't see Buhari eulogise Yaradua and vice versa.

Had Yaradua not reversed the sale of refineries to Dangote, importation of PMS would have become history by now.
His overruling of Charles Soludo's Naira redenomination project was another terrible blunder which dragged Nigeria further backwards. The man is just being overhyped.

How? Where are your reasons?
What exactly did Yaradua do differently as president? All the accolades showered on him will still be showered on Buhari after death. That is Nigeria for you.

And do you know my governor?
If you did, you would not have even compared Yaradua with him.

A patriotic and true democratic president that we have ever had. Selfless, Impartial, untribalistic leader that was hailed by people in every nook and cranny of Nigeria. I have never know a full educated list of ministers and parastatals than in his tenure.
May you continue to rest in Jannatul firdaus.
A democratic president who refused to implement Muhammed Uwais Electoral Reform Panel Report prepared through a nationwide tour to seek the people's opinions directly?
A democratic president who stood in Ekiti in broad daylight and declared that, owing to the lacuna in the constiution which made a governor's tenure start all over again if he happens to win a court reordered election, the then Governor Oni would make history as the first governor to spend more than 8 years to complete a two term tenure?

Umaru Yardua was a great leader. He had hope and vision. We miss him. RIP our humble leader!
You mean the same Umaru Yaradua who ordered the massacre of over 3,000 women and children in Gbaramatu and the attendant razing down of the monarch's palace in the name of chasing militants was a great man?
The same Yaradua who surrounded himself with the likes of Ibori, Tony Anenih, etc had vision?
Sometimes when Nigerians speak of the dead one is left wondering if he or she wasn't the same person one knew while he was alive.

....a DETRIBALISED NIGERIAN

Well EDUCATED and SOUND.
From a Well Educated Family, unlike the .....
A "detribalised" Nigerian who turned a blind eye to Fulani (his tribe) Herdsmen menace which started right under his nose but was busy ordering the massacre of over 3,000 innocent women and children in Gbaramatu in the name of smoking out Niger Delta militants.
A "detribalized" Nigerian who appointed his extended family member, Rilwan Lukman, as Petroleum minister in open defiance to the countless more qualified Interested Nigerians.

The biggest fraud in politics is to ascribe detribalization to anyone.

The length and breadth of Edo and Delta Speak good pidgin though some places speak better pidgin than others. but I think there are some places at the Northern part of Edo that might not be so good in Pidgin but all the part of Delta flow good in pidgin including the rural parts.
That is a purely fallacious assumption. Thank God you admit that it is just a product of your thought...."I think.."

You obviously are one of the Binis who have never visited Edo North. The Edo North residents with poor grasp of pigdin are actually natives of the neighboring Kogi and Ondo States brought in by commercial pursuits.

Politics › Re: Obaseki Tells Workers: I Will Increase Minimum Wage If We Improve On Revenue by Deadlytruth(m): 6:35pm On May 02, 2019
It is obvious that a lot of Nigerians can't read and digest. What Obaseki is saying is that if Edo State civil servants can work more to increase IGR, he will increase the Edo State minimum wage to a figure above the N30,000 just approved by the FG. It would be recalled that Edo State was already paying N25,000 as her minimum wage as at when the national figure was still N18,000.
If the civil servants he was speaking to at that event had understood him as making IGR increase a condition for paying the N30,000, knowing the kind of people Edos are, then the venue of the event would have gone up in flames immediately he made the utterance.

All dz are just speculatory imagination.
Above all, the chairman was so confident of the Imminent breakthrough ahead.

Bra, good news is good news
Holders are not ready to exit chams for now.
When the chat shows a support at N0. 70kobo holders might be tempted to offer bidders.
For now, if you are in, enjoy the ride.
Of course I am enjoying the ride. However, you wouldn't expect the chairman to have said otherwise. After all who dey ever gree say im mama soup no sweet?
All I actually see in CHAMS is sentiments, and as a believer in Sentimental Analysis, I am just playing along by being in the bus.
