you can't pay the hospital with transfer. they usually don't do that. cash or card
True, I asked them too if they’ll take transfer so I could pay with form A but they said no , cash or card.

Lol.......God forbid world people!!!

My Netflix has been hacked before and it was linked to my regions card, I quickly removed the card from my account.

I have been sleeping and regions bank is sending me mail to confirm purchases made via credit at walmart.
They’ve even tried to hack my account severally na so I hands off o.

No o. they are not cheaper than Oakbend and WHM
They quoted me $6k for CS , WHMC is like $10k , Methodist $10k . I didn’t even check oakbend because my friends that used there gave me bad reviews.

Ehen! That is another issue. Your account needs to show activity no matter how small.

The presence of inactive money is a red flag too.

Connect your Netflix, AliExpress or other accounts to your dollar account and replenish it from Naija every now and then with small transfers too.

Then, no matter what, do not allow anyone you do not know 100% to use your account to collect money for whatever reason. Your account can be closed down for aiding and abetting fraudulent activity.
I was going to connect it but fear of hackers and you know BOA is always their hacking target.
As per anyone receiving money with my account I never agree to it, before I land one day and next thing as they’re scanning my passport they’re taking me for questioning, I don’t trust anyone on that one because you’ll be shocked how elderly naija men abroad still engage in lipsrsealed . In my mind I used to think it was young guys alone, until I saw some men in their forties and fifties that I used to look at them highly engage in it too.

Chriscero:
Agent ke? shocked Nooooo! You can do it all yourself.

Yup! That is the website!

Any US banker will explain building your credit and more to you. I recommend Bank of America. There is a minimum threshold you can leave in a BOA account and it will not be touched at all. No deductions whatsoever.

The problem is that a lot of Nigerians forget and spend below the threshold or they get the usual call from the village "grandma has swallowed cutlass, please send money" then they withdraw too much, and deductions kick in automatically.

For some accounts, your account balance must not be below $1500 and for others, $500 is ok. It all depends on the type of account you open.
The one I opened with BOA was $270 or so threshold but they even closed the account already and sent my cheque to my address cheesy , I’ll open another one again , then I opened with wood forest too which is still functional.

Ha! grin World people! grin grin grin You just want to tempt me to name names abi?

Look closely, you will find others that are far cheaper the closer you go to El Paso! grin grin grin
lol grin actual everyone I've spoken to on here knows I’ve settled for memorial Hermann, it’s close to my friend’s house(trekking distance) and I found a doctor around there too , I’m not willing to go farther than that and I’d have paid them but for the fact the lady said they only accept cash or card payment or insurance .
The other hospital I was looking at was Methodist because my friends who are based in Houston used there but their price na die so I carry my shoe for head.
I’ve been in correspondence with Memorial Hermann even before pregnancy so I can budget well. They’re really the cheapest I got from the options I put down for myself because I’m C-section , oakbend isn’t an option for me, whmc was a prior option but my host moved from the area to the new place.
I’m not even hospital or doctor shopping anymore because I can’t use just any doctor.

Chriscero very detailed write up. I think memorial hermann is the cheapest I’ve even come across(among the hospitals I had in mind) lately in that area although they have had a slight price increment compared with before.

Gift deed isn’t correct if we are keeping it real. Every time I used “gift deed” in the presence of a lawyer, I get corrected but hey, I might be wrong on both counts.
Deed of Gift it is grin . Also last I checked an individual who’s not a lawyer cannot execute a Deed if we are really really keeping it real but I guess for ircc “gift deed” anyone can.

Hello all,
Please if someone has Pgd and Bsc, does WES still require both for verification?
I read that now they only need your highest qualification which in this case will be the Pgd.
Has anyone been in this situation recently?
Thank you in advance.

Hi guys, please I need your opinions on this.... i submitted my EE application in November 2020 and been waiting patiently on updates since then, gcms notes indicate my file is in Accra and eligibility hasn’t been passed.... I recently saw this post attached flying about in different groups and I thought to do a quick google search of my name and results came up with two businesses which I registered with cac few years ago. Issue is I never mentioned those businesses in my application as they were just side hustles and I didn’t claim points for them and also one was inactive while the other was just off and on for a while. In my case, My LinkedIn doesn’t show any of the businesses it’s just what’s in my personal history in the application that’s on my LinkedIn but a google search of my name pops up both businesses as a co-director for one and a sole proprietor for the other , do I raise a webform to inform them or do I just leave it ??
If I can understand this screenshot you posted correctly, this person in question was sent a procedural fairness letter and he still lied via the affidavit and claimed otherwise hence the final refusal.
In your case you failed to mention it, so if updating them with your status of owning two companies makes you sleep well at night please do it so your heart can stop jumping and while at it don’t forget to mention your actual role in the company so it doesn’t lead to misrepresentation.

Nice one! This Canada thing shouldn't be taken for granted. I know someone who sold put all her properties as soon as she got ITA, but since then she hasn't gotten PPR... yet; it's been 3 years or so. Let's live our lives, no one should wait for Canada.
Selling property after ITA not even PPR. That’s not a smart move regardless of the timeline of other applicants at that moment , the person didn’t seek advise from others at all.

Please, what is the status with people previously refused on the reason of discounted birth bill? Has anybody under this category lucky to renew recently? Was the issue raised on your interview OR you had to offset the discount before presenting for the interview? Kind response will be highly appreciated. Thank you all.
A friend went in the month of may after two refusals due to previous birthing and she was granted, note that she was heavily pregnant this time and is in the USA to birth again. She didn’t do anything extra she just showed up there with the previous documentation she has been taking like zero balance , itemized bill and co and she wasn’t asked for any of them

Utmost greetings and salutations seniors. Can I pick the $10 standard delivery when paying for my WES? I hope it won't cause any delay or something. Thanks for your prompt replies.

@graciouswords and others. Thanks
What you need is the soft copy which will be emailed to you or available to download on your portal so delivery either $10 or the higher amount is inconsequential

What is everyone’s take on the best PoE? There seems to be so many opinions on this issue almost to the point of legendary mythology. Consensus seems to be that JFK is the best, while ATL and ORD are terrible, with LAX and IAH in between.

What are people’s current opinion on ATL? The daily Delta flight makes ATL the most convenient at the moment. Any informed opinions out there? Would really appreciate it… Is there was a poll option feature here so we can all vote on the best PoE?

Thank you for your time taken to answer my question.
Call delta they’ll route you through jfk if you don’t want ATL

I don’t think you can pay if it isn’t requested and this usually happens when your eligibility is in progress.
I read one guys story last year or two years ago where the guy paid midway or so when the application wasn’t progressing and after he did and updated the thing moved. I can’t remember where exactly I read the gist but I remember I read it somewhere

In my opinion don't bother. You would only get 3 extra points after paying 27k to remark.
Test it yourself in the crs calculator and fill in 8.5,7.5,8,7.5.
1 point is gold , 3 points is platinum and can be the sugar in his tea so let him remark if he wishes to. If I get three points now I know what&where my points will be.
