There’s no other way except hoping for the best, the volume of applications they’ve received lately is overwhelming but at least they should adjust the timeline on their website to reflect the new circumstances.

I got an email saying this - Your UK visa application has arrived at the UK Visa Section tonight. Yesterday was day 6 post biometrics, today is day 7. Fingers crossed although my status already updated to being at DMC since 1 or 2 days post biometrics. This email is unusual because there’s always long silence from them until it’s time to pickup, maybe they’re trying to do things right this time

BA, gave me a book on hold in December 2019 for 24hrs to pay in Gtbank Plc then.

That was then, I also used to use the book on hold option on their website, you can try a dummy booing right now , it’s no longer available except if you call the numbers someone earlier provided on the thread.

Hello, did you have to pay the application fees again in the new application which I assume you would. Secondly, did you get a refund for the previous application in August or do we write a mail requesting for refund.

Just to chip in to part of your question, I read on the website that you have to pay for the new application and the previous visa fees may not be refunded.

Please is it compulsory to include evidence of landed or house properties to prove home tie while applying for visiting visa. My mom is about 62...and I want her to come visit me. She is not receiving pension and not working...we provide for her...any tips on how to apply and not get denied.... UK visit visa

The Uk is a country that likes you to discharge burden of proof , please put anything that you think will help your application, I remember many years ago when I was a dependent of my mom we will take property docs and co for the application, later we stopped taking it because we be regular customer and I also want to believe they have copies of what you submit everytime.

I submitted my Skilled Visa application on the 4th and did my biometric on the 19th Oct. I am supposed to resume work in UK on the 1st November, my visa is not yet out. I received an e mail from DVO on the 25th asking for an additional documents which I have forwarded.

Now, I have booked my ticket for 10th Nov and it is KLM. My questions are :

1. Can I still get my Visa approved this week (15days)

2. How long does it take to get a transit VISA?

3. How can I change my flight ticket if my Visa fails to come out this week.

This waiting is killing me ohhhh. I need your advice.

I can answer a few of your questions
2. Re transit visa- 2 days when my sister did it
3. Re changing flight ticket - yes very possible you can change it , pay difference in fare or class depending on the new date, if you did a flexible booking you can get a full refund, just make sure you don’t try to change on the day of the flight so you don’t get to pay a no-show plus the fare difference.
1. Re visa approval- anything is a possibility, I myself I’m hoping for 15 days. Just brace up.

I submitted 21st of October , I got biometrics request on the 22nd of October , I had the biometrics done on the 25th October and apart from the biometrics being updated on my profile nothing else, no updates.

Call BA on 07080601736, tell them you would want them to book a ticket for you. Also, tell him/her that you will like to pay in Naira through your bank (u can do this via GT Internet banking airline & travels menu). Usually, I search for the ticket myself before calling them. This way you would have an idea of the cost. They usually add $30 charge. For example if you see $890 when you search yourself, you probably would be told $920 when they assist you. Lastly, they will also tell you the cost in Naira (cbn rate conversion) and ask you to pay before the ticket expires.

Most airlines except for BA accepts for you to book on hold. You can also book with your travel agent , or book on wakanow / travelstart

Book online then go to their office to pay with your Naira card. They use cbn rate

This one too don do, I don’t think them calls and emails are necessary when it’s not a different you’re applying to join your spouse or spouse is trying to file for you and you need to establish relationship. Anyway it all depends on the officer handling case file

Since my sister became a resident about ten years ago I’ve always had to include her details in my application and I’ve never had to put them call log details and co , just the basic things I previously mentioned and well of course they know just any stranger won’t have access to that , I forgot to add council tax bill too to the list of docs I usually upload

Please, can a uk visitor visa be refused if you refuse to send evidence of relationship between you and your uk sponsor such us email, calls when submitting your biometrics and documents @TLS..?

Email and calls ke, my sister lives in the Uk and of course she’s the Uk sponsor whenever I renew I’ve never dropped email and calls etc, just her intl passport, work ID , pay slips and that’s all.

My brother or sister , you need to understand the basics of whatever you’re investing your hard earned money in / on , if not you’ll keep getting scammed because the scammers know you don’t have an idea of what’s up. First of all just google Canada immigration pathways and also go on Canadavisa.com , go on the express entry thread to see what’s up. You’ll be surprised how much you’ll learn about immigrating to Canada via an extensive and simple google search .

Assuming one is planning on spending 2 weeks in the UK, would it be okay to make a reservation for an accommodation for just 3 days for the visa application with the mindset that one could change accommodation upon discovering other better deals after getting the visa? Or must one book for the whole 2 weeks and use the booking to apply for the visa? Any suggestion please!

Make your application tidy and book for the duration you’ll be staying in the Uk , choose pay upon arrival / free cancellation on booking.com, you don’t need to pay for the hotel booking.

If a Uk visit visa is refused, will they mail the refusal decision via email before getting back the passport or they will send it in hard copies together with the passport upon pickup

I don’t know about now but before they mail the thing with passport , so until you get your file jacket back you won’t know if you’re granted or not

The day I did my biometrics they didn’t take walk-in because they had enough crowd from even booked appointments.

Please I mistakenly selected a different country instead of UK. (Travel History).
Is it really an issue?. Though, When submitting both documents and biometrics, I drafted a cover letter fixing the error and sent it to tls.

Your cover letter should fix it , but I’d have said cancel the thing and start again which is what I did when I made an error while filing my form , I didn’t go for biometrics or anything. But your cover letter should hopefully suffice

Same thing I said that students have resumed but apparently batch two are resuming in January o, students never resume finish o , even date for TB test isn’t available for Lagos , only December in Abuja

Just wait it out, you already said PA’s own is out , what’s left is for the dependents of the PA ,waiting it out is the only thing left in my opinion, it will come out . The crowd applying to the Uk these days is like times 20 of what they had before , I myself I was stunned by the crowd, they definitely have times three of their usual volume to deal with right now.

I applied on August 29th for my mum & dad, no response. Reapplied (reuniting with immediate family member) on Oct 19th via new portal, got a PPR request for them today.....6 business days

In my case I’m applying for tourism as I didn’t qualify for family reunion, my relative there is my brother in law and not my direct relative, so I had to stick to tourism , but I observed by the questions asked, I was streamlined for can plus because the form was quite brief and only a copy of my usa visa was asked for. Asides my biometrics update, no other update has been done yet on my profile, fingers crossed.

My status has been updated to application received my DMC, this thing should just continue moving the way it has moved from yesterday to today Abeg. Is there any other person who had biometrics done yesterday ?

please house i use my current account for my savings and business running for almost a and half now, i have close balance of 4.2m in it.

i just opened my company account less than 14 days now. and running it. with closing balance of 300k plus from sale under 14 days.

the question i would like to get answer for is.

should i move capital to the company account now and leave savings in my current account?
can i use the two account to apply for visa now?

note i dont pay salary for myself before.

can use both that way and get my visa granted.

Account of less than 14 days , please it’ll be better for you to stay back and tidy yourself to avoid a refusal , Uk needs money they’ll refuse and clean mouth
