Hi bennytwin I hope and wish you a safe one with this one, please talk to your gynaecologist and be sure he’s a good one and that also the facility you use is a good one, equally ask him if he can refer you to a perinatologist (you shouldn’t be asking because he ought to have done this).
Due to my blood pressure last pregnancy I had to see both obgyn & a maternal fetal specialist(Perinatologist) which may be what you need and will definitely take a dip in your pocket but it’s for the best.
E-hugs to you and please be sure to nip the issue in the bud so as to prevent a reoccurrence of such and please don’t stress yourself in the process. Cheers!

It is well O , don’t worry you’ll have a healthy pregnancy by Gods Grace, because pregnacare uk is one of the trusted multivitamins in Nigeria And I’m sure some people are adulterating the thing already, personally I switched based on personal research not because of anything report I heard(my hospital gives pregnacare), initially I thought it was making me sick but I stopped and noticed the sickness even persisted after I stopped.

Is there a naija brand of pregnacare because the only one I know is from vitabiotics England, that’s what I always choose pharmacies I buy from, I started with pregnacare Max and when I did I purchased from a pharmacy near me and didn’t encounter any issues at least until I finished the 28 day course but I switched brands after I researched one everyone raves about and I read the reviews thoroughly.
It is well o , losing pregnancy because of prenatals is not a joke and I hope it’s not attributed to the prenatal, abi one naija company has started making pregnacare that we don’t know Because I don’t trust those people

Did he tell you any reason for stopping the pregnacare plus ? ( I’m curious) I was taking everything together pregnacaremax and folic acid. What my doctor only mentioned to me at my last appointment was to stop because of the iron and concentrate on folic acid for now or if I have a prenatal without iron I should take that for now, so I ordered for the same prenatal I’m taking now but the chewable gummy version (doesn’t contain iron) anyway it’s yet to arrive so I dey wait. I forgot to ask why he doesn’t want me to take a prenatal with iron anyway

Hello everyone, Team JAN 2022 . Had terrible stomach pain on Monday next thing I saw is blood. Went to the hospital and was placed on Duphaston ,Divamine( for vomiting cos I vomit a lot), and an injection 2wice a week for 3 weeks. Are the drugs ok for me....

I was given duphaston too when I was seeing blood as it stopped and proceeded to bed rest. Your doctor sure knows whats good for you and won’t prescribe nothing that’ll harm you.

Congratulations on your baby missfree, that was a long read. Thankfully you didn’t pay attention to the guy that wheeled you to the theater they’re just being nosy. It’s general hospital not private Hospital so the least grade of doctor that can do your surgery is a Senior Reg with supervision, alongside other doctors, a doctor is young doesn’t mean he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Amen God is our strength , you’re 12 week then max 2/3 weeks you’re free. I’m 8w and I feel like 38 weeks. Although I woke up a little energetic today, thank God.

It is well, generally body weakness is so frustrating. At the moment, I feel lethargic. I can't even be bothered with anything. I teach and am painfully counting down to when we close for vacation. However it is, try eating no matter how small and stay hydrated too.

I’m eating in bits , I can’t consume half as much as I used to, then most of the time I feel like eating this and before it is brought to me I don’t feel like eating it again. I eat now in tiny bit and I’m hungry the next minute.

I’m weak o, I can’t stand to shower, I just eat , lay in bed and try to move around the room, I tried going out to buy groceries on Sunday I couldn’t stand for 5 minutes I was going to legit fall down, they had to help me back to my car. I felt going out and getting fresh air will help my condition but the pain I was feeling from my chest I couldn’t explain it. I’m not my old self , I’m tired , to even moisturize my body after I shower is a huge task because I can’t. I need assistance for literally everything I do these days. I can’t wait for my 14/15 week mark to gather some strength.

I don’t know why some doctors have a problem With explaining the medications and conditions of a patient to them forgetting it’s the patients right to be in the know of whatever decision he/she takes pertaining to the patient.
I think you should ask more questions and ask for explanations and let him tell him probable causes of low bp , and what he has been giving you. If you’re not comfortable with his explanations then don’t hesitate to change doctors

Goodmorning mamas.please has anyone had low BP in pregnancy and how was it handled? Did it pose any treat you or the baby?

Have you spoken to your OB ? Did he refer you to a cardio?
High or low is not good there has to be a balance. Presently I’m on medication too for high and my bp had to be under steady control before taking in and even though it’s controlled they still didn’t take me off the meds.
Please don’t be far from your doctor and if you feel he’s not being proactive enough on your case, change doctors.

Go with scan, first ones are usually more accurate Than later ones.
But anyway 29th to 1st is just a few days apart(disparity isn’t as wide) , so you can belong to both teams “if possible“

It’s necessary especially the extra money part . For me getting pregnant means sitting at home. if I start work it will be from complication to complications. Pregnancy is really a trying time for some whilst it’s a walk in the park for some.
