Day one is from the day of your biometrics. A couple of people are still waiting to get their passports. Lastly, I had my biometrics done yesterday

Submitted in ikeja today and I regret not paying £55 and staying in VI, since I’ve been applying for a Uk visa I’ve never experienced this type of mammoth crowd before, no chair to sit, nothing .
usually they’ll separate those who have uploaded their documents from those who haven’t and that’s wasn’t the case today , I was forced to pay for premium lounge due to the redundant queue outside from people who entered two hours before me because I arrived there pretty early, even the premium lounge there was a crowd there and I was number 11, the anger in me can only subside if my application comes out in 15 days as always if not I go swear for them �

If you applied Sept 4th it means you didnt apply through the Portal as that became active after Sept 7th so you should apply again.

True that, Borvick you may have to reapply again because the portal became active post September 7th, sorry for this stress of reapplying and reapplying.

We are approaching December, prices will go high and you may be lucky to get one of these sales offers. Check Turkish or wait till they open the borders to eu and Uk flights , prices may reduce

Yes, outside of Nigeria. Was worried because my previous applications were processed in less than 15 WD.

I also wonder the delay in Nigeria at the moment, I think it has to do with prioritizing students but the students have all resumed now, they had to put students first before visitor’s because nothing else makes sense as regards the delay .
All my previous applications have always been 15 regular days on the dot not even working days, I hope they won’t disappoint this time. For my mom and sister in June it took 17 days

Received an email from TLS today (16 WD) informing me that my passport is ready for collection. I paid for the courier service so I have to wait for it to arrive. Hopefully it will come with my visa in it.

Helllppppp oooooooo, today makes it 5weeks since i applied for visiting visa. I have called, sent mail and still no tls mail for pick up. Tracking still at DMC abi wetin dem dey call am. I submitted and did biometrics since 20th of september. Please anyone experienced this, or in same situation? Their response to my call and mail is that a decision has been made, but they dont know when i will get my passport, abeg which kain thing be this. Can someone help? I know three people in the same situation, they all submitted since September till date no response, I’m about to submit mine tomorrow, I think I’ll just pay to have my passport kept with me because I have a pending application in another embassy.

I totally agree with tutu82 , a lot of times I leave something out of my application, they call me to clarify and I tell them or email them but I’ve seen others make same mistake that led to a refusal. It totally depends on the officer handling the file , number of times you’ve been in the Uk or successfully applied for a Uk visa may also count. My mom was caught there during covid and didn’t apply for one thing they were meant to apply for via the home office and she tried renewing recently , all they did was email asking for that particular document and I responded with a long email to them detailing how she wasn’t aware of the thing and also her attempts to reschedule her flights to leave the Uk that failed and when she finally left and that was all the visa came next day after I sent the email to the New Delhi office

Good day, concerning the annual filling , we filled ours for 2020 and it’s was recieved and acknowledged but still showing inactive. I submitted the acknowledgement like that to ukvi. If the visa na my own they will give me.

A lot of things don’t work in uar.

Email CAC Lagos island they will respond to you , the new office is on force road , TBS Lagos island.

I have a sister who just received her visa but her company is showing inactive on the CAC website. I don't think that person is saying the truth about the refusal he got.

I’m trying to avoid using the word not saying the truth because it’s very funny to me, this is a faceless forum and nobody knows anyone here , everyone just comes to seek solace or get ideas or get advice or tips here so why will anyone start lying unnecessarily.

I think there is more to your brother's visa refusal than just the INACTIVE of the company's status with CAC. Kindly share the refusal letter for us to see more of the reasons. Thanks.

Inactive on the CAC portal means the company hasn’t filed annual returns and trust me the Uk refuses visa for things like that and even tax , I’ve seen people been refused for things like that and also the Uk doesn’t take things like that lightly in their country , so refusing on that ground is more than enough, I don’t think there needs to be an extra reason as to why someone was refused

Any high court is a court of competent jurisdiction, location is inconsequential

If you’re willing to pass through the stress of applying for a visa this tedious period then a simple google search shouldn’t be difficult. We put a lot of money and effort in this journey so researching on the internet and making calls to the relevant hospitals & doctors should be the least of worries

The requirements are there for any immigration path you want to follow, so try to meet the requirements and not try to beat the system.

Changing your age at this point can be detrimental to your application now or in the future , you used that age all your life and suddenly you just realize it’s not your age anymore, it’s a red flag so just stick to your normal age

Thanks for the information, I eventually did it at a CVS close to me and I wasn’t asked for any form of ID although I took my drivers license and passport hoping to be asked

I presented my Nigerian passport as ID when I got to CVS. Luckily, the person that attended to me was a Nigerian woman ���. You get the kit and take the samples by yourself.

Skip the state ID and SSN section, proceed by filling the form to completion. It’s a drivethru self done test with CVS.

Thank you very much, I initially booked with cvs but after I saw that I’ll need to provide the ID upon drive through I cancelled the appointment, I’ll rebook the thing now, as for Walgreens the thing didn’t allow me proceed without the social or state ID.
