It's just because most Christians don't read their Bible and gain knowledge for themselves. The Bible in Matthew 23:9 clearly states: Moreover, do not call anyone your father on earth, for one is your Father, the Heavenly One. Confront them next time with this quote. |

The truth is captured in the book "The Haj" It said "Me against my brother" My brother and I against our Father" Our Family against the Clan" The Clan against the Village" The Village against the other Islamic world" The islamic world against the Infidels" It means that Islam will always have someone to fight with, period!!! Go and read your bible and come back, or maybe you may need more explanation then read the book "Understanding the purpose and power of a woman" by Myles Munroe. PS: Did I quote bible here? See the meaning of quotation: As a verb, to quote means to repeat someone's words, attributing them to their originator. If you're giving a speech on personal organization, you might want to quote Ben Franklin in it — he's the master. When you write out a quote, you put the other person's words in quotation marks (“Aha!”). Opeyemi4real: |

See this mumu, another wrongly brought up kid who thinks he is a man..... Go and read your bible; assuming you are a christian, the bible makes it clear that before God we are all equal; The woman was God's idea and it was because God saw that the man cannot continue to be alone, he needed companionship. Please don't pass this myopic idea to your kids. tivta: 3 Likes |

Please re-read my comment. I am not stereotyping ladies, just letting the man know that if she loves, she loves for real, and she can also pretend and once they are married, decide to display her true colours. I would have thought you will comment on the fact that his dad took the easy way out as men do this days. derecho: |

Duru009: What is there to learn here? That after retrenchment, his father decided instead of being the man of the house, the village drunk!!! A man should be able to stand and take care of his family, instead he suddenly became a weakling and took the easy way out. Whether you like it or not, this has influenced this man's decision making ability. Believe me, am a woman, after the wedding she can decide to make his life soooooooooooooooooooo miserable. I sincerely hope she has not married the village drunk. |

Some men sha...... feeling stupidly superior since 1308 AD!!! I pray you don't become your father when the going gets tough..... and expect her to tolerate the village drunk. Go and read " The Purpose and Power of a woman" by Myles Munroe 2 Likes |

This man is indeed clueless, For corporate acct with zero balance, how will the bank charge for search report? individual savings with zero balance, how will the cost of atm cards be taken? banks will now have a large pile of atm cards un-paid for. rubbish They just sit there and earn fat salaries for doing nothing |

Weldone but here is my 2 cents, Pronunciations are key in order for the reader to get the full meaning. A lot of spelling errors: their or there , you spelt as dere....so wrong Use a spell checker. Names should start with caps. e.g Shola not shola My 2 cents |

I quite agree with you, funny enough, I saw a lady whose husband is still in love with her and shows it at every given moment after 24 years of marriage and when i asked, she told me it's really simple. "she has accepted the man as the head of their home and she has taken up a 2nd position. How cute is that? I suggest all women read the book "The power of Being a Woman" by Michelle McKinney Hammond and "The Power of a Woman and the Men that Love Them" by the late Myles Munroe. dollyjoy: 4 Likes |

I may not be a regular commentator but I have to say this: I love your work Audrey, I can't say I love you cos hubby may break my head, but I really do admire the person you are on Nairaland and above all, I thank you for bringing back my love for books. Thanking you for the update. May God's permanent healing hands be upon you and yours. Remember this: in our praises and criticisms, we really do appreciate you. Don't take some critics, however harsh or unpleasant they may be to heart. Remember also that each one of us carries a baggage, some are better at handling it than others. Don't let anyone drop his/her baggage on you. 1 Like 1 Share |

Politics / Re: Atiku Abubakar Commissions His Mall In Yola (photos) by Debbime(f): 9:15am On Apr 11, 2016 |
Good, then you will know that the AUN (American University in Nigeria) located at Yola was not a mistake and its not wrong. Yola is a city with industries or businesses aprt from the banks. The main stay of Yola is the salaries, meaning its a civil service state. His siting of AUN, Adama Beverages, Radio, TV Gotel means that a lot of people are now being employed by him. So you see, we cannot just depend on the govt to absorb the unemployed. I wish others can emulate him. bigiyaro: |
