Thanks. Is it okay if I change to manual compressor? I was told I may find it difficult getting an auto compressor that matches my car.

what they (roadsiders) call manual compressors are simply the old school compressors. the type that can run with or without gas in the system and they have preference to the peogout brand. for them, it is easier to install and manage cos all they need to do is lock all bolts n nuts, fill gas and there you go.

but There's a downside to it ....it puts more load on your engine, zaps your fuel and increases the rate of engine wear. That's why the white man developed the "VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR"

Quiet true that they can't find your kind of compressor in the market but then, you can walk into KIA dealership, buy the compressor and walk away. or order from eBay.

I'm currently using a refurbished 1999 model of the Mitsubishi Space Wagon with GDI engine as my daily driver. the previous owner ran its first engine to the ground then I got the car from him and replaced engine with the same type. since then I've added 11,000km to the vehicle's mileage so far and I feel confident to drive it to sambisa and back. I even fixed the AC recently and I can tell you that I'm enjoying the ride.

In my own opinion, I think the vehicle in question is a good car.

One way or the other, the key fob info has been deregistered from the brainbox or the key fob has gone bad.

what you need to do is to get someone with a high end scantool to re-register that key to your brainbox or register the new key fob to your brainbox and your worries are over.

Prepare your mind for a rebuild of that transmission or an outright replacement.

According to the you, the problem started after a tranny oil change. Now, we don't know how long the old fluid was used before the change, what type of fluid or what type of fluid you have replaced it with.
My guess is that a solenoid is stuck open or closed. proper diagnosis should be done on your tranny before making any conclusions

Ask your mechanic to check your gear selector. An adjustment should probably solve this

there engineers to handle hybrid issues here in Nigeria. the only thing we might worry about is getting brand new parts. (not like they are not available) would u have the patience to import certain parts from abroad?

If your auto tranny takes longer time than normal to select gears, then I believe its a speed sensor related problem.

you might end up buying a new tranny for nothing if you don't get proper diagnosis before making a conclusion.
