Reminds me of when i boarded a bus and sat next to this cute chick. I contemplated on starting a conversatio when all of a sudden it started, "ODOUR! TERRIBLE ODOUR!!" this girl's attachment or was it weavon was reeking like there were a thousand cadavers in the bus. I almost puked my intestines out that day. |
O boy, i remember those good old days too. lots of educative programmes for kids: Sesame Street, Contact, Terra Hawks, Dr Who, Muppet Show. There were other good family soaps then such as Checkmate, Giant in the Sun, Ripples etc. KAI, all those good programmes. now what we see on tv is nothing but Aki and paw-paw, P-Square and Dbanj. |

About 1.2 million telephone subcribers of Multilinks -Telkom Nigeria, will in the days to come, receive formal notification of a change of ownership and impending rebranding of their network to Visafone, as well as assurances of continuity of service. This follows the acquisition last week, of the telephony component of the Multilinks-Telkom network in Nigeria, by rivals - Visafone. The notices will be conveyed by way of text messages and advertisements in the media, Business Day was reliably informed. The expanded Visafone is also considering making marginal reductions in tariff and other promotions, aimed at luring subscribers of their rivals which operate on the CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) and GSM technology platforms. Industry watchers say Visafone may be able to perform this coup in the CDMA segment, because it has attained improved economies of scale by the acquisition of about 1.2 million Multilinks-Telkom subscribers. This gives Visafone 4.2 million subscribers in a segment with just over 6 million active subscribers, making them clear market leaders. They also say that Visafone will also begin a struggle to match Starcomms, its main rival in the CDMA sphere, in the data and Internet market, where Starcomms is believed to have clear superiority. Starcomms is currently undertaking a successful push to attract subcribers via smart phones and androids which have much larger screens than mobile phones and high internet and data capability. The Starcomms android drive was so successful, that it recently had to pull back an advert campaign because it sold out its stock of androids ahead of advert placements. Android devices are said to be eating into the computer laptop market because they are much more handy, more fashionable and perform practically all the functionalities of laptops and in some cases also function as mobile phones. Visafone is paying $52 million for the acquisition of Multilinks-Telkoms CDMA network and has by this move, grown its subscriber base up to 4.2 million. Multi-links is the oldest mobile phone company in Nigeria , having been in the market for over 15 years. At a signing ceremony in Johannesburg, South Africa, with officials of Telkom, the parent company of Multilinks, Jim Ovia, the chairman of Visafone said: “Visafone recognises that this deal will solidify its position in the Nigerian marketplace and is committed to offering world-class voice and data solutions to existing Multilinks customers. This transaction brings us closer to achieving our target of 10 million subscribers within three years. “ We believe that the superior technology offered by CDMA, combined with a subscriber base of 4.2 million active subscribers will enable Visafone to continue as a game-changing innovator in the Nigerian marketplace. Multilinks customers will be afforded the same high quality of network and customer service as existing Visafone subscribers enjoy.” Telkom paid $330 million three years ago for the Nigerian business Multilinks and then posted an operating loss of 262 million rand ($37.42 million) in the six months to end-September. Industry watchers say that the CDMA segment of the Nigerian telecoms market was undermined by the five years mobile exclusivity given to the GSM operators at inception in 2001, as it enabled the GSM operators to attain market dominance. It is also said that Visafone and Starcomms are bidding to acquire a smaller CDMA operator and the outcome of that deal could create a even more marked leadership for Visafone, or even up the competition somewhat. A virus infected my external 60GB harddrive and i tried formattting it. while it was formatting, PHCN struck and my PC went off. When power was restored, i tried formatting again but got an error message that my disk could not be formatted. I tried using CMD for the format but it did not word. Tried Disk Management in the Administrative tools but no show. It was then that i discovered that the Disk was now in a "RAW" format instead of "NTFS". I retried formatting with all the aforemention steps but the damn thing wont format. I even tried to run CHKDSK on the drive but got an error message that chkdsk can be done on RAW Drives. Pls does anybody here have a solution to this bug? |
She would have gone for something like a gown. would have looked better. As for the the tummy? It's as a result of all the "Hollandia Milk and Yogurt" Remember the commercial? She needs to visit a gym ASAP. But apart from that she still looks hot. Love those laps |
chaircover:I think u are among the few intelligent female Nairalanders here. Thumbs up ![]() |
@OP what is the girl in question doing for a living? seems to me that she is one of these broke-ar$e girls who do nothing but watch African Magic and gossip all day long waiting for the man alone to bring food to the table. The girl does not love him. @least the guy dey try as he's earning 17k per month. I for example studied sociology and Anthropology but as God would have it, while i was in the university, i forsaw that i may probably pass thru a similar predicament like your friend and i decided to step into I.T, a decision i don't regret today cos my degree is virtually useless to me now. At least if i broke small, just 1 web design proposal go fetch me nothing less than 20k in a week. ![]() |
alj harem:And i forgot, my fav part, some hausas who were trying to escape to the neighbouring Asaba thru Onitsha were apprehended on the Niger bridge and when asked to quote any parable in Igbo (cos they dressed like normally without Kaftan) which they culd'nt, they were disembowelled and thrown into the river. Enough hausa "nkwobi" for crocodiles. How Sick can i be**remembers jos* |

Someone shuld have just given her man a b.l.o.w.j.o.b only the nite this mary_j_bitch was concieved. |
@maryjblidge, for u to type a comment about making some1 run into the market naked thru diabolical means shows the kind of person u r. I wonder who gave u access to a PC? virtually everyone on this thread has reprimanded u of ur senseless comments. See person wey dey form Secret Service Informant for GEJ. If i make u sick, go on admission to the nearest clinic or better still, tell a doctor to give u "mercy killing". ANU OFIA NDI EKITI JI CHU AJA. mtchewwwww! |
I can clearly recall an incident that took place sometime in 2005 or so, during the Kaduna riots which sparked up reprisal attacks on hausas/fulanis in Aba, Onitsha and Awka. I was in Awka then when some youths who were angered by the rate of killings of igbos in the north ambushed some fulani herdsmen in an isolated area and slaugtered their cattle while the fulani b.a.s.t.a.r.d.s ran for their 4ucking lives. MENNNNN! come see as meat boku for market and was sold at a very cheap rate. |
Hmmmm, i can see that some people here are ready to die for GEJ. @mary j, stop the threats for cryin out loud. simply because u support GEJ does not mean u should force him down on other peeps' throat. Afterall, in Nigeria, we are living in an Autocratic, em, sorry, "supposed" democratic dispensation. |
GEJ should be Mubarracked out of Nigeria. |
Oct 1 bombings in Abuja, uninvestigated, Thousands died in Jos crisis, nothing has been done, Boko Haram has killed and maimed many & are boldly dishing out threats via the media to kill more, no arrests have been made. Now stampede in a stadium and 10 promising citizens lose their lives! This is not "GOODLUCK" for Nigerians at all! This is "ILL-LUCK"!! |
@kobojunkie, u need to understand that Nigeria is a multi-ethnic nation and so staging a protest like the one in Egypt is impossible. For example: If it is an hausa man u are protesting against, the hausas will back him and judge the protest as a tribal move to oust their own out of power. Same goes if it's an Ibo, yoruba or middle belt president. The only time Nigerians come together as one is when we watch super eagles play football. |
