Jobs/VacanciesRe: FG: SURE-P Graduate Internship Scheme by decub: 6:13pm On Jan 04, 2016

I want to ask a very salient question, I have a friend who is supposed to round up this scheme by December 2015, his employer has finally signed his timesheet of December (dat means all his timesheet has been signed wish has been confirmed from his own page)

Furthermore, he is having serious issue with his employer since yesterday, and his employer is threatening him that he will deactivate his account, that he will make the timesheet invalid, and he will end up not having November and December stipend.

Finally, my question is, is it possible for the employer to deactivate or making his timesheet dormant even after he (the employer) has successfully filled and submitted the timesheet?? ?? ??

Edokpia, laduna, puttersmind, I need u guys here....

Thanks everyone.
The possibility is quite minimal but remember that your employer is a determinant when it comes to payment. His call, text or email might hinder your alawee.

If I may ask, why wouldn't he try the best he can to avoid any rift with his boss at this tail end. Even though you think you've almost exited the system, the experience you had still builds up your CV and your future employer might want to call your previous employers in certain cases.

I don't need your preaching about your political leaning or absence of it. I could have ignored you but thought to educate you a a bit perhaps you will understand better.

If you're conversant and exposed enough, you will understand and accept that GEJ's attempt at removing subsidy had everything wrong with it. Firstly, in November of 2011 or thereabout, GEJ said the rumour that subsidy was going to be removed was not correct only to announce through the New Year's message on the first of Jan 2012 that subsidy had been removed. The reaction was spontaneous and expected. So, on the ground of his earlier promise and the fact he announcced it without consulting far and wide, people were right to reject his action. Hope you comprehend!

This coming from someone who professed non-partisanship is at best laughable. What PMB has recorded in seven months have given indication of better tomorrow to those with analytical mind.

1. Insecurity: If you were wise enough, you'd have known that PMB has done a better job than GEJ in this regard. BH was controlling some local govts before PMB came on board. They could launch audacious attack on military formations and sack police barracks then. The same cannot be said as of today apart from the suicide bombing.

2. Economic meltdown: As a result of what? You're dull if you don't know that the economic meltdown is a result of looting of our FR and ECA plus the fact that crude price has tumbled coupled with fact that GEJ didn't invest in productive sectors of the economy when he held sway.

3. Corruption: Can you please name a single corruption case under the current regime of PMB? If you can't, you're not better than a motor park agbero. The fight on corruption that PMB is currently waging has never been witnessed in the history of Nigeria. It's so loud that the deaf is aware of it yet an imposter like you is talking trash here.

The TSA that the incompetent Jona could not get all MDAs to comply with is being complied with already and government has been able to mop up previously dorman/stolent money into its account. Do you need me to explain what this means to you?

And you say you're not a supporter of any govt/party? Keep living in denial. Na you sabi.
Only people living in self denial will continue to deny the fact that GEJ FAILED WOEFULLY and there was no way he could have won against even a statue of Buhari.
I would have actually enjoyed having a conversation with you having known you highlight topics you know no details about since most of ur insults are based on hear say, BUT, the last time I checked, I have stopped arguing with some set of people; those who would rather shout, throw verbal cautions to the wind just to prove a point and with due respect to the honourable men among ur tribe, I can vividly tell you are simply from that area.

Without being harsh and rude, please read wide if you don't have people in the economy, understand that the security situation has worsened more than the propaganda you hear on the pages of newspaper, get verifiable facts besides what you hear on air. I just wish you will spit this security issue in the presence of a highly placed military personnel.

I'm sorry I will fail you in 4da argument but please, learn to study the economy far beyond political affiliations and emotions.

God Bless Nigeria!!!

Keep living in the past. GEJ that couldn't manage surplus cannot be trusted with subsidy removal. Where are the palleatives promised on the partial removal called SUREP?

@ the topic, I hope this is correct. It is good news especially now that crude price has tumbled. Just as the president said in the media chat, no one will be subsidizing anyone with the current global crude price. And by the time our refineries start to work optimally, subsidy will not even be in the equation even if crude price goes up later.
Firstly, I don't play politics; practical or verbal, objectivity does it all. I'm not a supporter of either party; PMB or GEJ but ur body language says a lot about how good u r with the present administration.

The young man observed one thing which I think every Nigerian would have observed as well and you term it living in the past (meanwhile, the same YOU said this: "I'm wise enough to know that the realities of today are a result of decisions of yesterday".)

Subsidy removal was the first hate Nigerians had for the previous administration even though the negative view of it was orchestrated by the opposition now in power.

Even without a binocular, every Nigerian knows we are heading to a worse leadership than what we had but many aren't bold enough to accept that fact.

I wish I would get a single flaw of GEJ's government the present party has been able to correct in more than 7 months into power. We are still experiencing the same insecurity, corruption, economic meltdown, even worst.

If you actually follow Nigerian economical and political activities without sentiments, then you would realize propaganda brought them into power and for the fact that they are clueless, Nigerians will lose faith in them; sooner than we think.

It's an individual thing and you don't have to question their sexual preferences. Penetrative sex is not all that is required in sexual intercourse, yet, there are those that are simply good with that, as a matter of fact, they don't go beyond 'missionary' position. I mean, no kisses, little caress and off they go.

There are also those that get irritated by stuffs like cunnilingus and BJ that they can't behold the sight. It's something in them you can't change cos they see it as disgusting while others even prefer it (ever wondered why some women ingest cum while others can't smell it). It's an inborn/hormonal thing while others learn it as they grow in the act of sex.

Personally, before my first sexual experience (well above 20yrs of age then) I can't imagine kissing someone (French kiss) cos it wasn't appealing to me exchanging saliva in the name of catching fun but I learnt it with time.

Back to the matter: If you are not good with it, fine, provided your partner is still ok with it but if you meet a girl that prefers a heady to climax, then you are probably gonna give her less pleasure for sex and you know what it means. It is not a myth that there are ladies who do not enjoy penetrative sex and there's nothing you can do about it. They just wanna please you by allowing you in and once you cum, they mark it as another unfulfilled day since they were left out of the game.

Depending on the lady, you can take her to the mountain in so many ways; G - sp*t, Cunnilingus, deep kiss, caress, even mere massage if you know the erotic zones so it's best to know what she wants and what you can offer.

Part 2 of your question: Yes, some kitty-kats stink that you might not even want to land your joystick there, not even with a latex but you have options; dirty girls are not cheaper to keep so why settle for less. On the other hand, if she is neat, adventurous, romantic and playful...the rest will be............reserving my pen for my thesis.

Question; what if I ask you tomorrow and you still tell me the same "I'm broke". I will let you know I'm not your mum, not even your BF, we are just friends.

There are 3 main needs of man(women inclusive); food, shelter and clothing so a guy asking if you have eaten isn't out of place. BTW, I would rather you ask me if I've eaten than ask me how my weekend's gonna be.

You did right, slapping him wouldn't have been the best.

Him being a gentleman as you thought, I believe he would have felt so ashamed of himself (presumably) as you walked away after the incident.
Believe it or not, an average being has some 5 minutes insane behaviour in every 24 hours and that might just have been his own time.

I would rather you call him, probably chat him up and tell him how he abused that confidence you had in him.

Nevertheless, let's pause and think; you said this is the second time and you have some endowed boobs, but that isn't enough reason for someone you call a "gentleman" to have been carried away. You might want to consider that which you do that make them go wacko, or you are probably not meeting real GENTLEMEN

Hello nairalanders, I am a graduate but I am yet to be mobilized for service. In order not to be idle, I took up a teaching job in one of the private secondary schools in my area.

There is a girl in my class who has being acting somehow since my first day in the school. I found out that she always gives me lustful facial expression in the class. Sometimes, she will come to my office and asked me to teach her some topics in physics which i will explain to her. This continued until last week when i received a call from her ( i don't know how she got my number) and told me she is in love with me. I was shocked because i didn't expect to hear that from her. I told her from that point that it can never be possible but since then, she has being disturbing me with calls and messages. Should i report her to the management or quit the job?
Honestly, this doesn't get me thinking cos I've seen a graduate of 21 years old and an SS3 student of not less than 18 years of age.

The girl has got nerves and she is also smart; get that. You didn't tell us if she is a minor cos if you are teaching them physics, then you are probably teaching a higher class of secondary school.

Leaving the school is an act of cowardice and should be the last thing I will think of if I were in ur shoes because you may likely meet similar scenario in your PPA.

On the other hand, threatening to report her might turn the table around to her favour cos she could out smart you and be the one to report you for sexual harassment.

I heard u say you are waiting for mobilization which means you are probably waiting for less than a year. Why not make her a family friend whom your family knows and get to meet her parents, introducing yourself as her teacher in school. The much I know is that if you are not interested in her relationship, then the parents must know you as the teacher whom their child goes to for extra classes.

I had similar experience during my NYSC days but in my own case, they were 3, a bit matured, yet I was able to merge the three of them and gave a mandate to each and every one of them never to come to my house alone.

You are just about right but I think some internet providers are gradually offering it. My company ISP is one at N33,000 per month. Even though they have a data cap of 50GB per month, it is still unlimited cos I have tested it. Just that the speed decreases with more users on it.

I don't think you got his (OP) message. There was no sentiment in what he said, just saying it is a rather huge task to have merged both portfolios (which are individually cumbersome) and handed over to one man.

In as much as I pray for his success, I also think it would have been fair enough to have left those ministries as distinct as they were cos you make something better from a challenging but concentrated task than multi tasking, talk more of huge multi task.
FamilyRe: How To Deal With A Terrible Maid? by decub: 3:22pm On Nov 10, 2015
ima30:
Hello. I have been with my guy for five years now. We are getting married next year. The thing is we are going to live in his family house, with his extended family. I didn't like the idea but I found a way to accept it seeing as its quite comfy and it means we won't have to worry about rent. Its basically a two bedroom apartment. The only thing I share with the rest of the family is back yard and staircase. He said we would do three years while he is building his own house.

His elder brother who is married lives in that same building. It's the maid THEY hired this year to take care of their sick dad, that worries me. The mom is late. She is very disrespectful to me. So many things happen and when he speaks to her about it, she won't bulge. All because it was the elder brother that interviewed her so she doesn't listen to almost anyone else. I spoke to my guy that I would not live with a maid that has not greeted me for almost a year or has no regard for my home or wouldn't obey him. He said he can't tell her to go because she is close to his brother's wife and she takes care of his dad.

This may sound petty but it's serious. All this family house wahala, if I tell him to rent a house he would say I'm not appreciating all his efforts to make sure we marry next year. I did laundry the other day came back and met the clothes soaked on the clothing line with all the rain that fell, meanwhile she brought in every other persons cloth inside. It might not be a big deal, but I don't want to resent any body I live with in my future home.

I need that maid gone, how do I get rid of her? The worst part is that since they all live together, he needs his brother's approval before he does almost anything, if I complain it would seem as if I wanna cause friction between both brothers. But there has been cases where changes were made by his brother and my guy wasn't even consulted. The maid before her was paid by my guy for two years straight, she didn't insult anybody. She left cuz his brother told him to sack her. That their father needed better attention and she wasn't a good cook. Na so my guy sack the girl. No question. They brought this one now and my guy paid for some month's and stopped because she was rude to him and me. His bro has been paying since. But my guy still pays nepa bills and those other things to run the house. Yet when he talks to this maid she won't listen.

How do I get her go? I don't like her one bit. She just basically work for the brother and his wife. I can't even send he to buy me matches. She calls me by name, would not greet. My guy told her to stop all these things, she still didn't listen. Please.
It's sad knowing that you ain't loved by one of the members of the family who has no authority over you. It wasn't supposed to form part of your worries but sometimes, we feel we need more respect than we actually get.

Firstly, it would have been good if your guy could swap apartments (rent his portion out and get an apartment elsewhere) pending when he is done with his own but certain people have their own way of doing things and you don't have to question them.

I would like you to focus on one thing; not breaking that home because of a mere maid and respect your guy by respecting the respect he already has for his elder brother cos I know too well such do not exist in most families. It is not easy to find family members; extended I mean, living together and happily even though they have women as wives or wives to be around (not saying that women are causes of disintegration).

Alternatively, you can try playing the mature lady by buying this maid over with your love. I've seen worst of enemies become best of friends. You can make her your friend, be the fool even though it's hard for the ladies, buy her gifts, discuss with her as though she is your best friend, confide in her but avoid the bu**sh*t, be the first to admire her and make her smile. It's not gonna be easy at first but it will heal with time. If you know how to play your games well you will discover that with time, she will start feeling guilty for treating you the way she did.

Even though servants are meant to be servants, sometimes, they might just contribute to your own failure.
Lest I forget, until you are married, you remain a non-member of the family.
Sorry if you find some phrases harsh, it was only meant to teach.
