Oga stop this space nonsense, use that money to make electricity available, and ensure Nigerians can get food cheap in the markets. Let's deal with the basics first...this na another way to loot the nation.

I saw this coming when Trump broke the deal originally signed and thus placing power of negotiation in the hands of Iran and no longer in US hands. The guy goofed
There is nothing in Iran's hands...they are sinking into deep shit, more and more...worst case scenario, they will target their nuclear plants and installation.

Confused country, you have been exposed, be prepared to face the wrath of the evil you have sowed.
How can people live under such subjection in 2020, slavery under the name of religion. Shame on Iranians for tolerating this subjection, imposed on them by a sectarian political class.

Ain't we supposed to be practicing a federal system, where state have their laws, and can create a security outfit for the protection of the state and it's people. This is being done in good faith by the state governors, what is the APC led federal government afraid of?

Or is it because the Northern trade union group kicked against it?

Nigerians are watching, and we are wiser now, you people are playing yourselves.

Because Ikwerre speak igbo language and dress like igbos doesn't mean they are Igbos.
The French policy of Assimilation had it that all the French colonies Senegal, Cameroon, Togo etc must speak and dress and assimilate the Culture of France even till when they all had Independence they still have that French Culture deeply rooted in their way of life.
Now lemme ask because they speak French and dress like French does that make them French Men?
You know the answer.
So Ikwerre are not Igbos, before and during the Civil war Igbos invaded Ikwerre and killed all our men, raped and married our women and forced their language on our parents, renamed our communities to Igbo names and then that's how Igboid influence spread throughout Ikwerre, Etche-Igbo and Ndoni land.
I know you're apparently Pained because our eyes have been enlightened and if a referendum is to be conducted then 99% of Riverians will remain in Nigeria and detest Biafra.
Jimyjames Lzaa Immhotep
The first tribes emanating from the south, bordering the delta are nri culture and Benin empire, all other people's spread out from these lands over time...we just started hearing about Ijaw a few centuries ago, if you check south South most are Urhobo, who emanated from the Benin kingdom, and Ikweres who are mainly iboes, Bayelsans too emanated mainly from these two groups... there were people who migrated to the riverine areas to get economic activity and a new life for themselves, the other people on the other side, are the ile-ife people, the aworis of Lagos came out from this group... these were the progenitors of the South of Nigeria .

What I mean is that the indo Chinese moving in to Nigeria are not your regulars
They come in with capital (lots of it )
They have done business in other countries (They are not starting out afresh in Nigeria) And they have access to more capital

MOST Nigerians are not that fortunate

That is my point

There are opportunity, yea

The question is

FOR WHO?

Nigerians struggle a lot, and are faced with a lot of hurdles
Even the bank's prefer extending line of Credit to a Chinese over a Nigerian IN NIGERIA (I'm in the industry so I know )

So you see
That point does not paint the full picture.
A lot of indo chinese come here to work as skilled foremen, yes most take on a supervisory role, I see a lot of them on sites with boots working with Nigerian labourers, a lot are Chefs, in Shoprite VI chinese man dey make noodles at the stands, at Debonairs Pizza, Lebanese man dey make pizza and sharwarma, I know these things cos I live in the axis. Don't come online misleading people to satisfy your ego.

People struggle everywhere, it all depends on what you do, and the class you aspire to belong to, even overseas most live on debts, some are homeless on subways and alleyways, and there are lots of ghettos in America, UK etc.

A peasant in America or anywhere is still a peasant, a minimum wage earner anywhere in the world is always somewhere around the bottom of the food chain.

We are not talking about nice flats at banana island we are talking about Nigeria environment generally moving about freely any time of the day without any problem, having access to great medical treatment, clean air not polluted with Noise or dust or smoke, Hot and temperate weather, lack of opportunity for self development, good environment for families, access to best universities in the world and eventually getting your American or British passport. Can you get all these in Banana island in Nigeria. Can you predict life in Nigeria in 10years time. It gets worse and worse
Nigeria is free, people move here day and night, people hold sold out shows at night and move freely, stop sounding like that Peckham cheap drugs is affecting your brain, talk sense.

You are not worth my time because you have complex already and you don't think with your brain. The vacations you go to is after you applied for your visa which may or may not be granted. My British passport can take me to 184 countries without any visa. Keep on doing your so called business of 419 and fraud, kidnapping and ritual killings. Tell me how the business will be after 10years. I have no more time for you. We are worlds apart.
This is the stupid mentality so many of you dumb slave workers there have. Guy I can spend an hour to broker a deal here, and get 3million naira, I don't need to work in the cold nights, or stand as security guard for 6 hours straight grin

The percentage of Nigerians doing scam is less than 1% of our population...you sound unintelligent and myopic, do you know that the Nigerian market is 220,000,000 strong, this is the best place to be...but like I said you are trapped in the rat race, washing old folks backsides, doing menial jobs, enjoying the British sights and weather, stupid cheesy

I don't understand.

People say there's no job or opportunities, and I'm saying that young Nigerians, in Nigeria, are starting up businesses - some started during recession and have thrived in the Buhari era.

Packaging food (reelfoods, maiyaki's); farming (https://theculturetrip.com/africa/nigeria/articles/the-top-10-agricultural-start-ups-in-nigeria/); tech companies (paystack, hotels.ng, max.ng, paga); solar cold storage for agriculture (coldhubs.com); solar solutions (solynta, blue camel); waste management (wecyclers, pearl recyclers). These are the few that I personally aware of, and each employs 10+ people.

Are these enough? No way... we need many many more. But my point is: if these people just said "look at our predicament", they won't have started. After all there are no jobs.

Times are hard, for sure, but new businesses by young people are thriving. These are both facts. I'm encouraging people to see both sides.

But to answer your question: if there were no opportunities to make money, why would Chinese and Indians come? We're also seeing an influx of Nigerians from the diaspora starting up businesses here. It's hard to accept that "there's no opportunities" in the face of what I'm seeing.
No mind the uncreative job seekers, they always think everyone is like them, everything in life and every situation is relative, I know many of my guys dash them visa to relocate to do 9-5 in UK, they won't go. Travelling to other countries to slave your ass out is played out, y'all can't even spend what we spend here. Life is about levels, thanks for educating them a bit.

Please be reasonable.

Your writing has betrayed you. . Make your point without being abusive. I live in the same london with my own personal house worth more than £500k and british citizen since 2008 though I left Nigeria with just 6 months Visa 2001. I didn't have to sleep in buses to achieve that. Stay in your Nigeria and enjoy your ignorance
What is your status in the British society?
If you are not one of the start up guys, or business men there exporting Nigeria, but just hustling and living the mundane 9/5, then shut up. A lot of Nigerians don't need to wake up and go to work by 9am, and still make much more than you. Am sure you are a 9/5iver trying to catch up with the British rat race, enjoy it and leave us in peace. I take vacations to UK, Dubai etc, but still love it here, and live here. stop sounding like a local man that just got an opportunity to travel out. Yes, I do business. All the top African business men and mega stars reside here, so it depends on what you do in Nigeria, I really don't envy you Nigerians working your ass out in the UK just to survive, no reasonable person will envy that life. It's just toiling.
