CorperKola: Have you heard this quote; if you want peace, prepare for war Let that sink in It doesn't apply here, thanks...we are looking for ways to avert destructive wars, like world wars, of course there will always be conflicts, but large scale conflicts and world wars can be averted. |

Most times people get what they wish for...I think the best way of averting world war 3, is stopping the creation of warfare weaponry, when nations have these weapons, they will want to use it, this causes escalation, and rapid destruction. There should be a ban on heavy weapons production, this is the sure way. |

Our government should monitor happenings in the global scene carefully, nations are fighting proxy wars all over, all for religious and political agenda. The recent happenings between America and Iran will have global effects, we should step up our security in the light of this. |

With the way these kindnapers work with ease and such confidence on the highway, it shows they connive with some criminal police officers, Nigerian government should fix GPS and cameras on each police van/vehicle to track officers to ensure they are patrolling their bits and sections of the highway...are the police chief sleeping, this is a shame...and why are we not utilising the death sentence for kidnapping and armed robbery, this is a national emergency, a national calamity. Critical times call for critical actions, death penalty will reduce the numbers of kidnappers, as the most hardest are killed, the young ones being led in this dumb evil acts will chicken out. Even America still uses the death penalty. |

Geosystem: What of secretly recruiting villagers and village heads to scan their villages regularly for strange faces never seen in their midst. Intelligence gathering have been missing in the strategic plans of our security guys Good one, this too will go a long way, the village heads can work with armed hunters, these hunters know the bushes very well, and if kidnappers see that they are being watched and followed, they will be discouraged from these acts. We need thinkers and active police chiefs that are results oriented. |

The police of each zones should use helicopters to drop armed officers to comb the bushes and jungles, from time to time, if our government can invest in laser guided helicopters...these abductors need clearings in the bush to chill and rest with their kidnapped victims. The federal government must invest in security infrastructure and more trained personnel to routinely comb the jungles and bushes for surveillance #combthebushesandjungles# |

NwaAmaikpe:

Was her son truly a Yahoo boy? If no, then that's the problem with my people in Benin City.
Someone that is not into Yahoo will dress like a Yahoo kingpin so that someone who does not know someone who knows him will accord him the respect of someone who has 'touched' money.
Go to Siluko and Upper Sakponba and see boys who have never even been approached to join a cult, flaunt cult colours like they are Excos.
Go to Asotime and see girls whose brezz are fallen and downtrodden wear iron bras that will make you think their brezz are standing firmer than the rock of Gibraltar.
In a city where stereotypical profiling is the order of the day, why will anyone willingly assume false identities that jeopardizes their chances of living in peace knowing that profiling is the modus operandi of our overly extrajudicial SARS? You are just assuming, this is an isolated case, every case is relative... please let's be objective. Everyone has a right to dress how they like, there is freedom of expression in our laws, use your brain next time. |
