And him begging for extra unit of mobile police force in Oyo state.

I do not give a ratass about specifics Oyo State or Ondo State governor was begging. The Falana did not slam them for begging while sitting in Ibadan and Akure. Falana castigated the two governors for going to Abuja, the wrong place indeed, to beg for what they had.

Kayode Oyero

Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has lambasted Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde; and his Ondo State counterpart, Rotimi Akeredolu, for visiting the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) in a bid to find lasting solution to the herdsmen crisis rocking the two South-West states.

Falana spoke on a PUNCH Online interview programme, The Roundtable on Friday.

Above is the first paragraph of the article I read. I really do not konw which article you read.

The fact that you keep mentioning Governors shows you haven't read the article until now.

Secondly, there's everything wrong with being a bigot.

A bigot is a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic towards a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.

Do you want me to mention governor where there were two governors referred in the article. Another poster has also made reference of governors. You do not have iota of right to define my opinion. You have your opinion and I have mine. It is complete idiocy to define another person's opinion as bigot because he\she does not agree with your silly opinion. This is the liberal view which I can never accept. If your opinion runs contrary to my opinion, you are bigoted in my view too.

No, you fail to read the article to see the specific reference that was made in the article before revealing your bigoted intentions .

There is nothing wrong being a bigot. I have read the article which succinctly exposed the ignorance of the governors. You may have different opinion why the governors went to the wrong place for issue pertaining to internal security. I have my bigoted opinion.

Politics / Re: For those saying that Fulanis are foreigners in Nigeria by Dedetwo(m): 5:47am On Jan 30, 2021
Arrewa:
HausaFulani is a term unique to Nigeria which collectively refers to the Hausa and Fulani as a people. The two are grouped together because since the Islamic revolution of Usman Danfodiyo their culture have become even more intertwined within Nigeria.

Hausafulani As the name suggests, the Hausa/Fulani are two ethnic groups which were formerly distinct but are now for all practical purposes intermixed to the extent of being regarded as one inseparable ethnic nation.

Although found throughout the grassland belt of West Africa, the bulk of the Hausa/Fulani population is concentrated in Northern Nigeria especially in and around the urban centres of Sokoto, Kano and Katsina which were important market centres on the southern section of the trans-Saharan caravan trade routes in the past.

The Hausa had established well organised city states before the advent of the Fulani. These states included Katsina, Daura, Kano Zazzau (Zaria), Biram and Gobir. Some of these were conquered and re-established by the Fulani. A few other kingdoms such as Katagum, Hadejia and Gombe were founded.

The coming of the Fulani into Hausaland resulted in significant changes in the area. They brought the full force of Islam which became a great factor of social life and culture. In education, dress, taste and outlook, the Hausa and their Fulani conquerors became part of the Islamic culture world. This influence remains till today.
Many Hausa people continue to be subsistence farmers, with a few practising mixed farming. Others are skilled craftsmen, such as leather workers.

The Fulani on the other hand comprise’ ruling dynasties, semi-sedentary farmers, settled farmers and herders but in the main pastoralists.
Today, Hausa/Fulani influence has spread over much of the culture in Northern Nigeria where the Hausa language has become important.

Why do most Nigerian tend to exude idiocy in public arena? Some people say that lack of lucidity in idiocy cannot be fixed. Why would the poster of above junk even insinuate the caption of the post when he had to incorporate the bolded statements? He had the crap such as HausaFulani which does not exist in human nature. In one paragraph, he\she used phrase, 'Advent of the Fulani" in Hausa States. In another paragraph, he\she continues the foolery by injecting "Coming of the Fulani" into Hausa land. Yet dumbass stiff had the temerity to caption the thread in the manner he\she did. Sometimes fools are like drunks who can state pure facts. In the above crap, the poster had established and stated Fulani are strangers or foreigners in Nigeria. By the way, you have the right to be moronic in northern region of Nigeria but however you do not have the liberty to spread it to southern region of Nigeria. HausaFulani could be a term unique to northern region Nigeria however it is an aberration in the southern region Nigeria.

It is not uncommon to hear many Igbos from SE say the above about Anioma people.
This is usually said out of annoyance about how ambivalent some Anioma people have become about their Igbo tag since 1970.

There is this feeling among Ndiigbo in SE that many Anioma persons only accept Igbo tag when there is something to gain from claiming such. And are quick to deny Igbo tag when there is nothing to gain.
Many SEners have had ugly experiences where they were publicly disgraced by Anioma persons who they tried to embrace as fellow Igbos in midst of other non Igbos , only for the Anioma person to deny being Igbo. Such Igbo persons usually live with hurt feelings and would usually go about denying any Anioma person who wants to claim Igbo the chance to do so in the future.
The Anioma person exposed to such Igbos, become bitter in their hearts too, and would thereafter go about denying any innocent SEners that try to profile him as an Igbo.

It's a positive feedback thing. Where both sides are pointing accusing fingers at each other.
The Anioma claims that SEners see them as fake Igbo and only call them Igbos when they need their political numbers. On the other hand, the SEners claim that Anioma people are opportunists who only accept Igbo tag when it is helpful.

Bro, we must be cautious with our utterances pertaining to Igbo and geopolitical zones. Ndigbo cut across many geopolitical zones in Nigeria however there remains one Ndigbo not two. No reasonable person of Igbo heritage will say that an Igbo person other than the person from SE should not represent Igbo. However when dealing with dilapidated Nigeria with its shifting balance, a person must be careful to separate geopolitical zone from ethnicity. When known detractors of Ndigbo are allowed the liberty to be mischievous, they tend to fool around with ethnicity and geopolitical zone.

When the killing of Igbo officers in northern region of Nigeria, which he was targeted, he ran to the eastern region as Igbo. When he became Vice Principal at Asa High School, Asa, now in Ukwa West LGA, he was Igbo. When M. However when Port Harcourt failed into the hands of vandals in 1968 and Elechi Amamdi sneaked into Port Harcourt, he realized he was not Igbo. Wike is basement fool without a father.

There is something wrong with the above statements. You are the person fully in the mode to describe Igbo man with funny adjectives. If it was not a western Igbo, it must be Midwestern Igbo or Bendel Igbo or Delta Igbo. When will you phony characters stop this madness? I had being around Joe and Ralp when they were alive and no single time did these fine gentlemen described themselves as anything but Igbo. Ralp Uwechue was Biafran ambassador to France and Joe Achuzia did not need any introduction in Biafra. I should give credit to LEO Irabor who made sure Eluonye and Onyenuchea were incorporated in his name tag. Irabor could be an abbreviated Igbo name but remains a discussion for another day.

Politics / Re: Onitsha Is The Only City In Nigeria That Looks Human-created by Dedetwo(m): 1:34pm On Jan 29, 2021
Aconomist:
Onitsha is the only city (outside major cities like Abuja and Lagos) that has a semblance of a human-occupied city in Nigeria. Other cities in Nigeria tend to sprawl out in low density animalistic slums, despite the massive demand for housing and high land prices. An Indian friend remarked to me that Nigeria is the only country where people will spend $100,000 to buy a plot of land in the city center and erect a one-story bungalow.

In his country, they build taller multi-story buildings to house as many people as possible on expensive land. Onitsha is the only city in sub Saharan Africa that looks similar to countries like India, China and Indonesia in the 70s before they modernized. The below image doesn't even look like Africa. It looks like China, Vietnam or Philippines in the 70s

How idiotic can certain dumbass fools sound in Nigeria? Who gives a ratass about what a goofy Indian thinks about cities in Nigeria? India, China, Vietnam or Philippines have population issues relative to land availability. Nigeria has its problem and will manage it accordingly. Only a fool will make disparaging statement about his\her people because one useless goon from India said something about erecting buildings. The poster of above junk added credence to the fact Nigeria is a basket of fools.

jarawa:

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the payment of $318m (about 123bn) as counterpart funding to the Chinese Government for the Ibadan-Kano standard gauge project.

The Minister of Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi who disclosed this said work on the Ibadan-Kano segment of the Lagos-Kano line may commence by the end of August.

It would be handled by the China Civil Engineering and Construction Corporation (CCECC). Amaechi who spoke in a Democracy Day interview monitored on Channels Television on Friday night commended the Chinese Government which he said had been very helpful in funding the railway modernization projects of the Federal Government.

He however added that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) had approved the opening of an account where some of the profits being generated from the standard gauge train services would be secured for repayment to the Chinese government. Amaechi disclosed that the flagship Abuja-Kaduna train which started with 300 daily passengers now records over 4000 passengers.

He said when the service first started, the government was making a monthly loss of N46m but now generates between N109m to N110m monthly profit.

Amaechi added that by the time the Ibadan-Kano train service comes on stream with cargo operations added to the service, more profit would be generated to ease the repayment of the loan.

He said: “We must attribute our successes in the rail operation to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/buhari-approves-n123bn-for-ibadan-kano-rail.html

What happened to Lagos-Ibadan-Kaduna railway? Is this Kano-Ibadan railroad bypass Kaduna? If so, why should there be two major railroads from Ibadan-Kaduna and Ibadan-Kano? If this is an extension of Lagos-Ibadan-Kaduna-Kano railroad, it makes more sense than Ibadan-Kano railroad on the same corridor. One wanders what happened to PH-Aba-Umuahia-Enugu-Otukpo-Makurdi-Kaduna railroad? Why do most Nigerians wonder why certain people want out of the shithole called Nigeria?

DeltaFire:
HAS WORLD IGBO CONGRESS BEEN COMPROMISED BY NNAMDI KANU?

Ndi Igbo, the craziness of Nnamdi Kanu is spreading to World Igbo Congress (WIC). Recently we hear that WIC endorsed Nnamdi Kanu’s agbero group of ESN. What we know is that whatever Nnamdi Kanu touches, dies. WIC was already becoming useless, but with this foolishness is now completely an Nnamdi Kanu fan club, and so is on its way to oblivion.

Ndi Igbo, if you value your personal reputation, my advice to you is to avoid WIC and have nothing to do with WIC. If Professor Anthony Ejiofor wants to join IPOB, that is his own. But for him and his WIC executives to have used their position to endorse Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB shows that WIC does not have Igbo interest at heart, and for reasons I cannot fathom, have turned themselves into Nnamdi Kanu’s fan club. We just begin to wonder what personal gain they received for endorsing the agbero group called ESN.

After this post, I will post an article called, “TO THE PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVES OF WORLD IGBO CONGRESS” By Kalu Idika, Jan 27, 2021, Elombah News, so that Ndi Igbo can get the big picture of what WIC has now become.

At the ending months of last year I attended 2 or 3 WIC meetings via Zoom because a friend in USA had invited me. That fellow Simon Ekpa, big promoter of Nnamdi Kanu based in Finland was allowed to speak much at each session and rambling out nonsense. I even began to wonder if by mistake I was in an IPOB Zoom meeting!

How can WIC be endorsing ESN that is under leadership of a “Supreme Leader”? Even of a leader who is BASED ABROAD? Even a leader who is a fugitive? Even of a leader who wants Ndi Igbo to kiss his feet and kneel down before him – see photos below? Even of a leader who has single-handedly created his own Jewish-Elohim-Chukwu Okike Abiama fake religion? Even of a leader whose video of ESN has been photoshopped and is of men marching in Southern Cameroon? (Could WIC not first look for verification of this video and real evidence that ESN exists before endorsing it?) Even of a leader who has absolutely NO evidence whatsoever of any of his “Biafra restoration” bullsh*t?

Ndi Igbo, this is just to alert us all to beware of WIC as WIC has become Nnamdi Kanu’s fan club. Let us be careful and avoid all those people and groups that have nothing to offer Ndi Igbo. This endorsement of an ESN that has not been properly checked out is all about manipulating money out of Ndi Igbo. Be careful that you don’t get deceived to fund WIC ie Nnamdi Kanu’s fan club. Just check WIC out carefully.

Please take the above crap to your WIC via Zoom where it belongs.
