Quit Notice to Fulani: We Must Strive To Douse The Tension, Keep Our Country United - Saraki

Immediate Past President of the Senate and Wazirin Ilorin, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has reacted to the crisis in Ondo and Oyo States following the ongoing agitation against the activities of Fulani herdsmen in the States, IgbereTV reports.

While calling on the government and key stakeholders to work out a solution to the security challenges in the country, he also urged Nigerians to strive to keep the country united, as a united Nigeria is important to every Nigerian because Nigerians do not have another country to call their own.

Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote;

Why are you guys expert in inciting violence
The only moronic dingbats who tend to incite violence are Buhari and Adamu who had kept closed eyes and ears for countless quit notices from northern region of without any arrest threat. Nigeria will cease to exist if Buhari and Adamu try to arrest any southerner because of quit notice.

Sometimes I stop wonder what the hell is Africa. The riffraff from the northern region who would have died with houseflies in the mouths are now calling the their benefactors, the Yoruba, as ingrates. It all points to 1967 when deluded Yoruba peeps wooed midwestern region to join forces with northern region against eastern region.

Bro in this context, you are not remotely political correct but delusional. If the bolded is correct by any stretch of imagination, it is because of the seemingly threat of Fulani herdsmen. ESN is currently launched and could not have been reason your folks in Ihioma-Okporo axis are afraid of random kidnap operations. The Fulani herdsmen are the reason. For Orlu sake, grow some balls.

Politics › Re: IGP Adamu Orders Arrest Of Sunday Igboho Over Eviction Notice by Dedetwo(m): 1:57pm On Jan 23, 2021
Does this fool called IGP realize that eviction notice does not attract arrest threat from federal government of Nigeria? Northern region of Nigeria remains the absolute home of eviction notice issuers and none has been threatened with arrest. Anyway, I honestly blame Yoruba for this nonsense. If western region had joined eastern region in 1967, the jackasses will be forming miles of lines to obtain papers to visit the south.

You have already branded ESN criminals and then talk about their duty. You cannot eat your cake and have it. You and ilk have moronically branded ESN criminals and welcome the Hisbah in northern region as angels.

Semi urban?

I grew up in Orlu early 80s and witnessed urban expansion in Orlu and Owerri at nearly the same rate.

Considering urban sprawl, Federal government built 3000 lines analog telephone exchange in Owerri, 1000 lines in Orlu, 1000 in Okigwe- hardly functioned - 500 in Oguta, 300 in Mgbidi.
Considering urban expansion and profit returns, Owerri and Orlu exchanges were later made Digital. From any where in the world, one dial, one could get to Orlu and Owerri on landline phone.
Treated Public water supply - boreholes system- was in Orlu then.

Orlu started to lose after Owerri seizes all tertiary education institutions in Imo state, Orlu lost its public water supply system but Owerri had new public water supply system built by Mbakwe. The same water supply systems for Orlu and Okigwe were not completed until Buhari military came; never completed till today.

I know a lot of places in Western Europe that had no public water supply system when we were enjoying public water supply system in Orlu.

Anyway, continue with your disdain for Orlu. Some inept politicians from the Orlu senatorial district are also to blame.
You can only make this type of statement if you lived in Orlu and Owerri at the same time. In 1982, I lived in Owerri but travel to Orlu every other day via Owerri\Orlu road which terminated at the T-junction the goes to Aji road. There is no human with good intellect that could remotely insinuate that urban expansion in Orlu and Owerri was nearly at the same rate.

ESN people invited them when the chased police officer away and video it, declaring themselves outlaws, I support Buhari and Hope on this, those criminals are responsible for high crime rate in orlu recently.
What is the need to have police men who cannot chase Fulani herdsmen away from certain communities. Or are you oblivious that Fulani herdsmen are noted kidnappers and serial killers? The criminals in this saga are the Fulani herdsmen and the police which looked the other way. ESN are local vigilantes which help the helpless communities to stem the criminal activities of Buhari, Hope and Fulani herdsmen.

In Rivers State Where I stay..... Before any road construction company pour asphalt or cement/chippings on any road, they would have digged out the top red soil to about 3 feat then sand fill it with sharp sand... That way the road last longer and is durable..

I do not understand why Imo with alot of Redsoil will decide to pour asphalt or concrete on red soil..
Are you sure about the bolded? Sandy soil is not good for any foundation. There are other reasons for scrapping the road three feet deep before refill.

Sunday Igboho, Real name ( Sunday Adeyemo) is from Aladikun Compound in Modeke, Igboho. He is a political thug of Pdp and a common criminal, who will eventually be capture by the Federal government.

Mr Sunday Igboho gain notoriety and popularity during the ife / modakeke war where he killed his fellow yoruba people over lands in Osun state.

On his wikipedia, it is written that he is a human right activists, in reality he is a political thug who was used by a former governor of oyo state( Rasheed Ladoja) to cause mayhem on political opponents in Oyo state. He is also a land grabber who has killed many because of land issues.

Mr Sunday Igboho is an illiterate who thinks the "yoruba nation" is bigger than the constitution of Nigeria, most of his followers are stack illiterates who also do not understand that the constitution of Nigeria guarantee freedom of movement of any group within Nigeria.

Mr Sunday Igboho isn't fighting for the yoruba nation but for his personal political interest and for his boss(Rasheed Ladoja) who is at loggerhead with Makinde( Present governorof Oyo state). Mr sunday Igboho is taking advantage of the people negative view of fulani herders to organize his illitrate followers to cause mayhem and possible ethnic cleansing of fulani communities in Oyo state.

The real issue isn't the herdmen, the blame on the herdmen for every crime in oyo state by Mr sunday igboho is just a false flag to rally the people against the governor of oyo state in preparation of the 2023 governorship election.

The backstory is that a breakout faction of the pdp loyal to Lodoja in oyo state is capitalizing on Sunday igboho popularity to spit the party apart.

Everything about sunday Igboho mass movement is an organised political power struggle to bring the oyo state government to its kneel.

The government of Nigeria are watching and any further escalation of the conflict in oyo state will lead to the end of sunday Igboho.
The above post is only a product of deluded mind. Yoruba nation is human beings while silly Nigerian constitution is useless paper. What difference has the common paper called constitution impacted on citizens of the country?

I do not believe in restructure as being clamored by most people in Nigeria. I want unconditional disintegration of Nigeria. As long as I have Republic of Igboland, the rest could be sorted out. However in there should be any form restructure, it must be on economic equity of the defunct regions of Nigeria. Lagos and Abuja, which constructed with commonwealth, must sited in the defunct eastern and midwestern regions.

Biafra: Why Igbos want their own country – Afenifere chieftain

Afenifere chieftain, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, has revealed why agitation for the rebirth of the defunct Republic of Biafra continues to gather momentum.

According to him, the clamour for thr disintegration of Nigeria will continue to pervade the air until the country is restructured.

He said, “Interestingly, when we talk of restructuring, some of our friends from the North will say ‘they want to break the country’. But, anyone opposed to true federalism which is restructuring is the one who wants to break the country.”

“All the agitation about Biafran separation is because they (Igbos) feel excluded under the constitution.
Ayo Adebanjo should be elementarily informed restructure does not mean federalism. The restructure requires simple equity in the socio-economic arrangement. The defunct northern region has Abuja while defunct western region has Lagos. These two points are major economical connection between Nigeria and the world. What do we have in the defunct eastern and midwestern regions? The answer is absolutely nothing. The main and real restructure will aim to have point of economic connection with outside world in defunct eastern and midwestern regions constructed with commonwealth or disintegration of Nigeria or a possible war shall remain the option. Why would anybody from the defunct eastern region want a silly federalism within Nigeria when it is better to have own and separate country from Nigeria? A country in the defunct eastern and midwestern regions will instantly provide for the point of international connection within a day of independence. I am for unconditional disintegration of the shithole called Nigeria. I shall prefer Republic of Igboland to any country but would not mind Biafra if honestly agreed to exist.

So, I have been the reading the back and forth argument amongst Ondo state govt, FG, Yorubas and some groups from Northern Nigeria.

Me wondering why Aketi, a SAN can't approach a court of law to obtain court order in order to evict the Fulani herdsmen who have decided to make Ondo forest their home even when they are not wild animals.

The Fulani herdsmen should also approach court and fight their case. Sebi Ondo forest na their ancestral land.... undecided undecided

Enough of social media argument...

Btw, we learned some things aftermath acclaimed Lekki Massacre even though some of us saw the clearly written handiwork of some people before hand same as this current Ondo situation...

See beyond your nose
....
You are indeed a tailor. What legal documents that warrants Fulani herdsmen to occupy land or forest in Ondo State as a home? Any tenant must sign a document to occupy a room or space. The governor does not need court to evict illegal squatters in Ondo State. The herdsmen should vacate the lands in Ondo State in the same manner they occupy the land illegally. There is nothing legal about this situation. The governor acted nicely to have given them warning and time to vamoose.
