Hello pls can I call u,so u can explain to me pls,I av everything ready ,am just wait for my pof to be ready, which is on the 28th of this month.pls I need thorough explanation pls

- Print your Statement of account on the 29th (if you're sure it matures on the 28th, if unsure, print on 30th)

- Apply for your visa now and book a Biometrics appointment date between 29th of this month (or 30th, depending on when you print SoA) and 29th of next month.

- For SoA, you're printing a minimum of 28 days worth of statement. You can err on the side of surplus and print 29 days worth but never less than 28 days.

I hope that answers your question.

Hello everyone, please I need your help. My pof is due for 16th of this month , however my tuberculosis test is slated for 26th of this month. Please, anybody who has applied, do I attach my tuberculosis result to my uploaded supporting documents during application or can I take it and pay for them to upload it during biometrics?

I don't think I can wait till I complete the tuberculosis test before I start my visa application . This due to the current rush for biometrics date as I intend to use ikeja tls . Thank you

You ca use your Statement of account within 31 days after printing it. Which means you can select your a date for Biometrics appointment after your TB test result must have arrived but it has to be within 31 days of printing the statement of account.

So, If you're pringting your SoA on the 16th of July, you can apply for your visa now and book an appointment date between 26th of this month (after you must have gotten your TB certificate) and 15th of next month. You can also upload all your documents by yourself at any time before biometrics and save your money but you have to upload all documents AT THE SAME TIME.

I hope this helps

Thanks a lot.
I have a cousin I have been coaching, having written mine with band 7.
I have tried every trick I used to ace mine at a sitting, but she keeps revolving around 6/6.5.

Exams coming before ending of the month
Any idea is welcome

Hello cool318, try the following tips I posted below. Give the person at least 1/2 months to prepare adequately before retaking the test.

Best wishes

Hello. I admire your courage but I think that you could be having problems with IELTS because you need to improve your vocabulary. As you have seen, IELTS is more than just knowing how to speak English, it is knowing how to use words correctly. So, in order to improve your vocabulary, I would suggest the following tips:

- Read a lot of books. Most books, especially best sellers, are usually written in good English and proof-read a couple of times.

- Read a lot of articles. I don't mean all these nonsense they post on Nigerian blogs. I mean articles from newspapers and even foreign media, ESPECIALLY British Media.

- Watch the news channels regularly, especially BBC and SkyNews. These are available on DSTv and even GOtv.

- Get a dictionary and try to learn a new word everyday. It helped me a lot when I was in secondary school.

- Try to search for British-based podcasts and listen to them regularly as well.

When you feel confident in yourself to re-take the test, use the following online materials to prepare yourself:

ieltsonlinetests.com

YouTube Channels: IELTS Liz, E2 IELTS and English Speaking Success

However, if you feel confident in yourself that you passed your previous exams, you can apply to have your answers re-marked. It would cost you some money but if your marks are upgraded, you will be refunded fully.

I hope you ace your next examination.

Good day family.

Please i have a bachelor degree and 2 years work experience as a carer in Nigeria. I have taken IELTS General before with S-5.5, W-7.0, R-6 and L-6.5 but want to know if o can use this result for UK visa and is the exam format of IELTS UKVI same as IELTS General.

Also, is it necessary to apply for ECCTIS when i only have statement of result and it takes longer time for my school to send transcript. Please can my application fly if ecctis does not evaluate my degree but have a good band in IELTS UKVI . Please kindly advise me.

Thank you.

You need to do either of the two: Write IELTS for UKVI (General or Academic) OR Evaluate your your Bachelor's degree to serve as Certificate of English proficiency

We encountered the same issue, go there directly. The actual staff members wouldn’t help but you would be approached by people outside. They would help you for a fee to book it.

Why would you pay anyone to do something so simple that you can do yourself? I checked their website just now and they have free slots for 27th and 29th of June. Don't waste your time and money going there to book

Hello everyone, Trust you are all doing well, I need an advice real quick !!! I have a friend that wants to relocate to the UK to work as a career but we don’t know how to get sponsorship and someone said he needs to do NVQ level 3 exam, we don’t much about that either. Any information, links, websites etc will be appreciated.
Many Thanks

There are so many Level 3 courses you can take but this is one of them. However, be advised that you will need to pay about 50 pounds for your certificate. But its a good course to take. There are many others on the site as well. Pick anyone that suits you and your budget. There are also free courses on Alison.com and Florence Academy.

Good evening house , please I know the major topic here is about care homes (elderly care) but please is there a possibility of someone also going to uk from Nigeria as a child care giver?, with Sponsorship and all? Is there anything like that? If yes, please can someone point me to the right direction?like where to get companies that employ and sponsor such workers. Thank you in advance

https://www.healthjobsuk.com/job_list/ns?JobSearch_q=Child+care+worker&JobSearch_QueryIntegratedSubmit=Search&_tr=JobSearch&_ts=1141

Check out the different jobs, especially those at Band 3 level, check the person specifications/job description for the educational and skills requirement to see if it's a qualification you can attain/have attained. Different companies have different criteria for employment. Check for the one that is common to all. That would the the most important qualification/criteria

Hello Johnsurvive, that's a wonderful result.cheesy
Yes, she can use it for the SW or HACW visa only if it's IELTS for UKVI, not the regular IELTS. Or she can register with the UK NMC as a full nurse. Good luck.

Please people that are already in the UK and have gotten the HCWV, kindly assist us that are still in Naija with contacts that can give this COS? We're ready to transport and maintain ourselves there. It's so discouraging getting the 'unfortunately' love letters and now most of the vacancies are requesting for people there. This japa season must favour me o smiley

I think we all need to realise that the UK is more than just healthcare workers. The NHS, despite being a health organisation, employs people from all fields and careers. There are vacancies for Account managers, I.T experts, cyber security, software developers, HR personal, android/iOS mobile developers, Architects, Engineers, etc. Same for other organisations in the UK. All you just need to do is search and you may just find a vacancy for your current career rather than switching to Carer or Health care worker just to get a job in the UK.

I am not saying that it is/will be easy but all you need to do is to ensure you're suitably qualified and you might just get your dream job.

Please how does one verify the authenticity of COS? The employer didn’t send a PDF copy of it

Just like you have been told earlier, the CoS is a whole 2-paged document with a lot of relevant information needed for your visa application and not just CoS number. Request for the whole document, you are within your right to do so. DON'T TOY WITH 10-YEAR VISA BAN.

I have the required fund in my bank account, but I am the dependant not the direct beneficiary. I would like to apply now because fund as stayed in my account for the required 28 days, if I have to transfer fund to my wife's account, that means we would have to start counting the 28days which will delay application. I would like to know if I should apply using my account or send fund first to my wife's account before applying? If I apply using my account I hope it doesn't affect our application. We are applying together.

Thanks for your time I really appreciate

That statement is referring to the main applicant not dependant. The money has to be in the main applicant's account. It is CLEARLY stated there.

Thanks for the response, but the link sent doesn't in anyway answer my question.
The question is that in the case of a married couple traveling to the UK through healthcare works route, in which the wife is the direct beneficiary. Can the husband's bank statement be use to apply for the Visa or does it neccesarily needs to be that of the wife. Which implys that the husband have to sent the required fund to the wife's account and start counting the required 28 days?

So tell me how this statement does not answer your question?

I mean situation where the main applicant is traveling with her spouse and intend using the spouse bank account statement to apply or those the dependant need to transfer the fund into the main applicant's bank account and start counting the required 28 days before applying?

Note: spouse account has more than enough money to cater for both of them.

Good day everyone,

I apologise in advance if this has already been answered. Does anyone know the minimum salary requirement for nhs admin role to qualify for sponsorship for someone already in the uk on tier4 visa?

Please help a sister.

The code of the job role you are referring to is 4159 which is not open to skilled worker visa. Its salary band is Band 2 and 3 which is below the minimum for sponsorship. However, since you are already in the UK, there is no harm is trying. Just be honest about your visa status, your prospective employer should be able to advise you.
