L4fire: Good morning people,
Anyone knows what happens if an employer is already in the process of issuing a CoS (already applied to the home office for the CoS) but then I get another offer from another employer and want to proceed with the second employer instead? Do I have to reach out to the first employer to withdraw the CoS application or I can proceed with both companies applying for the CoS?
Has anyone experienced this? Or know anyone who has? How was it handled?
Thanks DON'T DO THAT. It costs a lot of money to apply for CoS. The Home Office might even take steps against you for that and you will definitely be blocking the path for other Nigerians. If you didn't want the first job, why did you ask them to go ahead with the CoS? |

cletz991: Hello house I studied medical biochemistry but I never practiced because I work in FMCG.So here’s the question can I apply for the the UK health and Care worker Visa since I studied Medical biochemistry Urgent reply please 1. Find out if there's a job for you as a Medical Biochemist in the UK 2. Check the requirements to land a job as a Medical Biochemist in the UK. If you meet up, good. If not, find out what you need to do to meet up. 3. To know how to do all of the above, kindly read this thread from Page 1. It has been explained properly in previous pages. |

sapienman: Good evening house. Kudos on the great job you do.
I did my biometrics for a standard UK visitor visa in VI in early December but I'm yet to get the visa. Many who did theirs around the third and last week in December have gotten theirs. I have reached out to UKVI but all I was told is that it is awaiting a decision.
Please is there a way to check what's really causing the delay or has anyone got a sure way to contact TLS VI?
Thank you. Be patient. There are so many people with similar experiences. They must have given you a notice that warns about delay in visa decision at TLS VI. I was given too. Your visa is on the way Meanwhile, this is the right thread for your post https://www.nairaland.com/5233246/general-uk-visa-enquiries-part/730 |

ApostleBlack: Thank you, please is the transcript to be uploaded a student copy or the uni will send directly to rccp. Also is ielts required or declaration of English proficiency from Uni is enough.
In addition, is there a template for employment information Yes you can upload Student's copy. Alternatively, you can have it NOTARIZED (if you wish, but not compulsory) No proof of English required for RCCP, however, if your documents are not in English, back it up with an official translation. Can you please explain what you mean by template for employment information. Do you mean CV? |

GiggsTk: Hi everyone, What happens if you already got a job and a CoS without an NVQ 3 certification, just some background working in a care home. Does the issue of the certification come up with the Visa application? Urgent response please...
Thanks The issue of Qualification does not concern Visa Application. All they're interested in is your CoS. If you raise the issue, they may deny your visa which means "Na you use your hand do yourself". As long as you have been deemed fit to do the job by the employer (YOU DID NOT FALSIFY ANYTHING!!!), and you have been issued CoS by your employer, go and apply for Visa. You're good to go bro. Visa Tips: Submit all documents that can aid your application even if it wasn't requested for (except your qualifications). No document is too much but you can be denied if you don't give them what they requested for. |

Dee2016: Visa Alert!!! Hehehe I've longed to type this since I discovered Nairaland in September 2020 when my husband was waiting for his second canadian visa application which he got a refusal. I was a strong follower of the Canada students thread. I am from Kenya and I told myself wherever Nigerians are going we will go. That's how we started our journey for UK Student visa which never went far as we didn't have the amount required in bank statement. My second option was to apply for Skilled visa which actually should have been my 1st option. I did blind application to companies that were offering sponsorship and I got an offer and a CoS. Timeline.
Visa Application 12/1/2022 Biometrics 14/1/2022 Tls email 26/1/2022 DHL collection 27/1/2022. All info was gotten from this thread and less from UKVO.gov website. Truly go through the pages, you won't miss any details. Thank you Nigerians, we did it!!!
And to the famous quote which I couldn't wait to write "What God cannot do doesn't exist!" Congratulations. Welcome to the UK in advance. Can you kindly state his job title, qualifications and how you went about the application process? Someone might benefit from that information on here |

The question is apart for uploading of my degree cert and transcript , will I also need to upload my diploma certificate and transcript to suffice for my 100 level as well as done on WES evaluation . Evaluate only your first degree. If you're still confused, look for their email address on their Contact Us page and shoot them a mail. |

toluene23: Thank you I will start working on that Please do you have a format on how to write to any of the company or organization of interest that It will be my pleasure to work for their organization and seek their interest on Sponsorship as its enlisted among companies sponsoring &recruiting skilled workers abroad I don't have a format for writing to a company but you need to understand that for the company to sponsor you to the UK, they would need to pay a lot of money for your CoS and that means you would need to prove beyond reasonable doubt that you have what the company needs in terms of skills and experience and there is no one in the UK that can do what you do. The job also needs to be a shortage occupation to make it easier. If you can't prove all of these, I would advise that you find other easier routes to the UK. |

Can an SSCE holder go for any of these short courses and use it to apply? Minimum requirement to work as a Physiologist is a B.Sc in Physiology. If you don't have that, the course is useless to you. |

If your employer isn’t covering your first month, meaning you have to provide a bank statement as part of your visa application, how many months statement should you provide? Also what’s the safe period (number of days/months) that the required fund has to be sitting in your account for? 28 Days. Ifesinachi22: Good day and happy Sunday everyone.
I have some questions that have been disturbing me. I've applied to over 40 vacancies and yet no interview yet.
1. For those who have done the interview, please how was the interview conducted? On zoom or Whatsapp?
3. I graduated since and have not been in any meaningful job. Who will i use as my Reference to get more interviews? They were stressing on Most recent employer which i do not have. Can i just use any friends email address so i can write the recommendation myself? I've never worked for anyone that will write a letter of recommendation for me.
4. And Finally, if you have never attended any online course training, what will you put on space for courses attended? Should i leave it empty? 1. No NHS trust uses Zoom or even WhatsApp (that's ridiculous). Always MS Teams or physical interview 3. Look for Dental clinics to take you in and work for them for free. Spend some time with them and you can use them for reference. If you ever falsify an information and you're found out, it won't end well. 4. Leave it blank or put NONE. But why won't you have attended a relevant training course though? Getting a job in UK is no child's play |

Thanks, this is pretty urgent Instead of looking for hard copy, why not use Self-service option for the Visa application and upload your e-copy rather than taking hard copies for your Biometric appointent? That's my own contribution, asides that, I cannot help. |

Zimzee: Hi everyone, I just came across this thread and I was so fascinated as so many questions on my mind were answered here, however, I still have few things I want to clarify. I am currently on a student visa in UK September 2021 batch, studying msc psychology (Conversion). I did sociology and anthropology in my BSC and I don't have work experience in that regard. Meanwhile, I am currently working in care home here the UK. I want to know how I can utilize My msc degree to get a sponsorship job here, please @cheesyTee, @dee1504 and @Uzland, I know you guys a well experienced in this journey. I am a bit confused as I have read that msc psychology conversion can only fetch me band 4 job. Please what are my options. I want to start exploring them early enough as I don't want to pay £2000 for PSW if I don't end up getting sponsorship job. Is it possible to switch on this new launched pathway of care giving? ChessyTee would be in the best position to guide you since you both have similar circumstances. |

Nursing auxiliaries and assistants – all jobs
Does it require any qualifications
Please kindly feed me with more insight information Nursing auxiliaries and assistants must be a Registered Nurse and not 'auxiliary nurse'. I would recommend that if she has a certificate that qualifies her as an 'auxiliary nurse', she can try to go through the Care worker route instead. |
