LagosismyHome: Ok... the visa officer can look at it right front of his screen that why I was just curious why this would even be considered to be uploaded.... same with COS... Cos is an electronic document that the visa officer can see on their screen
I guess it doesn't cause any harm even if it might not be necessary To answer your question, there is no crime in submitting those documents. In this era of "Non-straightforward" emails and unnecessary delays, you do not want to err on the side of shortage and you can never err on the side of surplus. You want to ensure that all the necessary information is provided, whether required or not. I and every other person I have advised to submit those documents received their visa in less than 15 working days. But just as you have rightly said, IT IS NOT NECESSARY. And to everyone, please NEVER SUBMIT YOUR OFFER LETTER FOR VISA APPLICATION |

Beehorn: Good day everyone,
Can I travel to the UK with pregnancy on this carer route?
Will it affect my chances of landing a cos? Inform your employers beforehand if you're pregnant. Failure to do so could lead to withdrawal of employment. Care worker is not easy for those who are not pregnant not to talk of someone who is. |

HenryG: Hello everyone, I have checked indeed and NHS website for employability status for having MSc Biomedical science. But I really still need to ask if this profession is really a good to go thing compared to Occupational therapy or diagnostic radiography.
Thanks in anticipation Hello. Both Biomedical Science and Radiography are good careers in the UK (I don't know about Occupational therapy). All you need to qualify to work in the UK as a Biomedical Scientist is to have your HCPC registration. Find out the requirements for registration as an INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT. Once registered, getting a job is the easy part. I hope this helps |

advanceDNA: Mr rules and regulation...did the rules also say that they shouldnt allow the applicant time to submit the test....ukvi that is not organized....they cant even follow their own rules some times..mistake everywhere...be denying peoole when they did all the right things.....when people now win administrative review against them they will become silent and refuse to grant visa on time Bros, abeg for your own good, die this your mentality. UK/UKVI is not Nigeria where anyhow-ness is the order of the day. When you apply for visa, there's a declaration that if you submit a fake or wrong document, you will be DENIED. The rules are as clear as night and Day. The person who was asked to submit another English test was very fortunate to have met a lenient Case worker. This is not Tourist or Visitors visa where you can submit just any document, the documents for skilled worker visa are very specific. In the UK as well, you do the wrong thing, you go hear am. Nobody cares. Please let's be properly guided in all we do |

sosojohn: Hello @dee1504 and everyone else Please can my wife and I use a 1 week old marriage certificate for our visa application? Also, my passport expires in April 2023, can i use it to apply for visa next month? You can use 1 DAY OLD marriage certificate as long as its not fake. You can also back up your claims with your wedding pictures and other pictures of the two of you together. Screenshot of your chats is an added advantage. Yes, you can use your passport. You can renew it if you want to but its not necessary. I hope this helps. |

switkera: Hello everyone. Please help a sister I started this journey in February, I have sent out almost a thousand applications and still nothing. I have all the requirements, I have the relevant experience, I have done the important courses, I still go to volunteer in the hospital I did my training just to be up to date. I apply everywhere, NHS, Indeed, Glass door, Totaljobs, Reed, LinkedIn, the list of sponsors on gov.uk and other sites I can't even remember, but I am yet to get any positive feedback except interview invites for people already in the UK. Please is there anything others are doing differently? I know it must be frustrating but do not give up. - Check this site for companies that give Tier 2 sponsorship: https://uktiersponsors.co.uk - Narrow down your search to Care homes and put the same energy into applying to all of them. - Keep updating your CV and even send your documents (i.e IELTS for UKVI, Care Certificates etc) along with your application. Something good will come soon. Do not give up, all you need is one YES and all you have been through won't matter any more. |

damble: Good afternoon all/house. I have read from page one (1) to the last page.
I want the knowledgeable/experienced ones on this forum to please help me confirm if I am on the right track based on what I have read from page one(1) to the end.
Step 1: I am a graduate of philosophy (2011).
For my proof of English, I can get a transcripts, and an official letter from my university which states that my course was taught in English language.
Step 2: Getting of some certifications from FLORENCE ACADEMY
Step 3: Have practical experience from any of the following: Orphanage home, People with disability home or Old care home. (Please which is the best or easiest out of the listed above to get job jobs in the UK)?
Step 4: Application for jobs.
I found the confusing: HCA, skill workers, assistant caregiver etc
With the certification on care giving/experience from STEP 3, which of these is appropriate for me? HCA, skill worker, assistant caregiver
Your response will go a long way.
Thanks all. I appreciate Your first question already counters your claim to have read from page 1 to the last. Read up properly, all the answers to your questions have been provided already. |

For the sake of clarification, these are the proof of English language proficiency tests accepted by UKVI: - IELTS for UKVI Academic - IELTS for UKVI General - ECCTIS/NARIC certificate - Pearson/PTE Academic for UKVI - IELTS life skills B1. Hello peeps,
I have a friend who got her visa within 9 days of Biometrics with Standard Visa Application. I got mine within 12 days as well (last year). Just a tip for everyone who wants to apply for theirs soon. These are the documents I submitted and advised her to submit:
- IELTS (Test certificate not online score) - Police Certificate (no need for fingerprint) - TB certificate - Passport data page - CoS - Visa Application Form. - Statement of Account for PoF (if you're required to)
NOTE: This is for Health and Care visa main applicant. Feel free to follow suit or not, the choice is yours. Good luck to everyone. |

2. Do I need to submit offer letter or the CoS is sufficient ?
3. Do I need to submit a cover letter with my visa & immigration form?
4. For dependant below 18 , do i need submit a sort of parent consent letter ?
Thanks . 1. Use your employer's address
2. You don't need to submit CoS. It is optional and submitting it could only help you in case there is any error in your application. Offer letter is of no use.
3. NO
4. Birth Certificate and Passport is enough if both parents are going. If not, the parent that is not going will need to write a consent letter. |

Gbolah21: Hello house, I wrote here few weeks back about my application which my sponsor made a mistake in the COS. Today I received a refusal mail from home office with option of administrative review. My sponsor has already applied for a new COS, the previous COS was undefined which is only allocated to applicants within Uk. I tracked the application and it’s still with DMC but I’m a bit confused because the date on the refusal is 21-06–2022 and it was stated on the letter that I have 28days from the day I receive the decision to apply for administrative review. Has anyone experienced this and also if I’m able to get a new COS, how long does the process take ? Help a brother please The fact that you used a wrong CoS type means you used a false document (unintentionally though), which, in my opinion, has no grounds for an appeal/administrative review. I would advise you to start your application all over again with the new CoS. However, if you feel you want apply for administrative review, then do so by all means. Good luck and Godspeed |

Please i need guidance on how i can convince the Nigerian institution i graduated from that i should be handed my transcript so i can uploaed it on ecctis platform as requested. The school official in charge of transcript had said they don't issue transcript to students, that can only be mailed to the body requesting it. I cannot download it from the school's portal and i need a signed copy for myself.
Please anyone with ideas on how i can make my school issue an official copy to me.
Thank you. Collect unofficial copy from your department or use your final result printout issued to you during clearance. |

CeeCyrils: Please how do I answer this question. You guys are my lifeline
If money is put into an account for POF, should the acct be on incubation till the end of 28days or can one still transact with it while keeping the amount regular?
Its urgent! The line is still on .... Yes you can transact with the account, as long as your balance does not go below the required amount at any time during the 28 days. |

progress160: Hello guys. Please I have a few questions
1. Do I have to upload account statement for POF on each of my dependants application?
2. My POF will mature in about 3weeks time. Can I apply now and wait for biometrics date which may fall wothin the POF maturity date so I can upload the account statement during biometrics.
3. My police certificate will expire on the 6th of June. But I want to apply with it now without uploading the SOA since it's not yet mature. I will be uploading the SOA via assisted service during biometrics. Is this okay 1. YES. Each application is a separate application but can be linked to the main applicant via CoS, so same account statement can be used as long has it has the required amount of money in it 2. You can apply for visa at any time as long as all your documents will be ready on the date you booked for your biometrics. 3. This question is not clear. Will is expire or has it expired? If it will expire before your biometrics date, please get a new one to avoid stories that touch. Read for more info: https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa/your-partner-and-children |

Mrak2Agho: Hello all good afternoon please I have been in the UK for up to 11 months now do I still need to count the 28 days for pof or use 3 months bank statement and pay slips You must have at least £1,270 in your bank account to show you can support yourself in the UK. You will need to have had the money available for at least 28 days in a row. Day 28 must be within 31 days of applying for this visa. You’ll usually need to show proof of this when you apply, unless either: - you’ve been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months - your employer can cover your costs during your first month in the UK https://www.gov.uk/health-care-worker-visa/how-much-it-costs |
