hey i think different and i am going to say the reason why that woman is pissed wasn't entirely captured in that video.
You provoked her then recorded her actions so that you'll appear to be a saint and the victim.

I doubt you even watched the entire video before ITK commenting. The white woman was the one provoking her all the way and spit on her 5 times. 5 times!

The circumstances of your conception and birth may have traumatized her and she may have blamed you subconsciously for it. You may also be reminding her subconsciously of an adversary in your bloodline. These things happen.

I'll advise you still stay away and go for therapy. Do not underestimate how badly this may have affected you. Secondly, get spiritual help too. Heal your heart and mind and spirit.

When you become stronger, you can start mending your relationship with her by forgiving her and reaching out gradually however you can.

There is a reason why no one has ever tried to legislate injuries gotten while playing most professional sports. The idea that a human who pumped full of adrenaline and testosterone will act reasonably is totally laughable.
For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction

Many guys in adrenaline and testosterone instigated prisons will not agree that it is laughable bro.

That you don't know that emotions and impulses and instincts can be schooled and that the brain is plastic and even hardwired habits and behaviours and reactions can be changed or unlearned is all on you too.

Context is everything. Nothing you have said is necessarilly wrong, but you yourself mentioned soldiers and great warriors. Warriors eventually war, that is why they are great. There is time for grammar and time to act.

In my estimation Jokic picked the right time. Even in a court of law he can argue that he was provoked by Markiefs initial aggression and the law will grant some leeway.

You on the other hand believed he should have walked up to Markieff and calmly reasoned with him not to do it again. Educated emotions you say. Ol boy, you need to wise up grin

You are projecting your understanding unto me.

1. I said no to excessive retaliation. Jokic's retaliation to a cheap shot was excessive.
2. You guys proposed ' when-provoked-strike from impulse' I proposed when provoked-think-act/strike appropriately.

Note that in provoked-think-strike appropriately, the appropriate thing could actually mean killing an aggressor to defend yourself..

3. I said acting out your raw feelings, acting out of instinct like an animal when provoked could get you in trouble. Educate your impulses to avert a life of regret.

How does the above turn into:
"You on the other hand believed he should have walked up to Markieff and calmly reasoned with him not to do it again."

"There is time for grammar and time to act". : I already said that bro. You have to know when to fight/hold on/walk away/run.

"Even in a court of law he can argue that he was provoked by Markiefs initial aggression and the law will grant some leeway".:

Me: Some leeway by a Judge could mean 10 years behind bars bro.

Jokic's reaction was purely on impulse and in the heat of the moment. Don't act like he intended to kill him.

He wont even push me in the back because it would be "grossly effeminate" to do so. Of course I would do the same next week, remove another teeth, then turn my back and run cool. Dey blow grammar dey go

Birdman listen:

Many are 6 feet under or in a crammy jail or gruesomely maimed for acting exactly what you are championing here - acting out your raw feelings, acting out of instinct when provoked.

All I am proposing to you is to pause and think and proceed with a thoughtful measured response when triggered. Pause. Think. Then act. What will I stand to gain? What are the consequences? Intended and unintended. How will this affect my family, my plans, where I am going? Who will gain from my actions? Who will lose?

We are not animals. Animals have no head to balance their hearts out. Animals act on instinct, there behaviours innately hardwired, devoid of pause, devoid of thought, devoid of measure, once triggered. For them there is no Frankl's space between stimulus and response.

You have to know when to fight(for those who think I am anti-fight), know when to hold on, know when to walk away, know when to run. A man who lacks these lacks wisdom and is no better than an animal with its helpless reptilian brain.

I know a guy that was brutally butchered in school for retaliating a slap by a random guy in the street. Reason: that random guy was a cultist. I know of many whose promising life have forever been ruined because they couldn't stand a standard humiliation by cult boys and had to harden up in a rival cult to exact revenge.

Remember Boethius. Remember Victor Frankl.

I call you to a life of educated emotions. A higher standard. A very human standard. To always balance the heart with the head.

Even great warriors and soldiers run by this code.

My injunction could salvage your life or your home, or your career or snatch you from a life of regret one day.

Peace out.

It always surprises me when people expect retaliation to be rational. You hurt someone, and said person while experiencing both pain and anger instinctively retaliates, and somehow we think said decision will be rational.
When people are emotionally compromised, especially from negative emotions, never expect rational behaviors from them. That is why if you do not want to be on the receiving end of such irrational reaction, you do not mess with people in the first place.

Abeg rest IJN. Why are you acting like what Jokic did was premeditated? He bumped him for ffs not like he punched him on his carotid artery or anything like that, whose fault is it that Markieff has such poor equilibrium?
Besides whatever happened to Markieff he brought on himself. If Jokic had suffered a broken rib or punctured lung what would you say?

If Morant had suffered serious injury would you be yarnin this kumbaya nonsense. If Markieff was such a tough guy he would be back now, just goes to show you these guys dish but cannot take.

How can anyone come here to defend those two that consistently endanger other players on the court. Was it not this Marcus that stomped on Luka's ankle. You will not advocate for these guys to change their playing style. You are just yarnin menenemenene

So you are changing tack now, abi? It's no longer an obvious flop but now poor equilibrium and a truck load of whataboutism. Lol, abeg sit.

There is a reason attacking someone from behind is considered cowardly and grossly effeminate - you've given the person no chance to steel or defend himself from harm consciously or by instinct.

And no I didn't call out Jokic a second time, I responded to people still gloating after seeing the replays of the carnage wrought by the human projectile and knowing the aftermath of that attack.

If something (e.g a car) or someone heavy or powerful and in motion hits you from behind abruptly, the inertia generated could snap your neck causing a whiplash(a neck injury) which can kill or maim or cause brain damage or mental problems.

We saw the danger on that video and called Jokic out but the voice of the many drowned out the voice of the few.

From day 1 I always posited that appropriate sanctions should be meted against dirty plays and players. My only grouse with what transpired remains excessive retaliation and it hasn't changed.

But don't kill a fly with a sledge hammer in the name of revenge. That should have no place in sports.

Mf has a whole five minute compilation(!!) of dirty plays on YouTube.

That play was dirty and intentional, as his history would suggest. And if it wasn't intentional, then that guy is dirty by default. The attempted block with the left hand was reckless but understandable, but how do you explain the swipe with the right hand, while Caruso was already rotating downwards in midair? With a bit more rotation, Caruso may well have landed on his head.

That one game suspension was too small.

I saw the foul and I wondered aloud how some people would say with a straight face the foul was unintentional.

I saw his dirty play compilation afterwards and it cemented my earlier conviction.

He was even smiling to the fans when he was ejected. What a mentally warped sicko!

Why are people blaming him for apologizing on social media? He wanted to shut down a viral escalation of the pregnancy tell-all interview by African doll that was already generating traffic on YouTube the day before.

If he hadn't done that that morning bloggers would have feasted on him that day and the uproar that would have followed the revelations would have been merciless and unrelenting.

He tried but it proved too little too late to save him.

May God forgive him and heal his heart and his home if this repentance is genuine.

I didn't watch the interview but if Sammie did this, then he is an asshole.

But the point still remains, the lady kept the pregnancy because it was Sammie. It's just the same way non of Davido's baby mama aborted, even though they know Davido wouldn't marry them..

Same applies to guys too, if I get Yemi Alade pregnant, I will do everything in my power possible to make her keep the pregnancy.

It is just what it is.

I agree generally. She was star/talented-man-of-God struck . It may have influenced her decision to keep the baby. But this particular lady seems a bit different. Very educated, decent, intelligent, comfortable economically, calm, accountable, remorseful, took responsibility as an adult, never asked for money or tried to blackmail him, seemed a Christian with a conscience. Just needed to be acknowledged and respected as a human, heard and given time to come to a decision.

She kept saying she has a voice and her voice will not be silenced. Sammy's mistake was he chose the wrong person to silence.

They might say abortion is bad, devilish etc. But both partners should be able to come to an agreement on whether to keep the baby or not.

Bros, this lady got impregnated by Sammie Okposo, not just anybody, a whole Sammie Okposo! That's the reason she's keeping the baby.
If it were a clown like Portable or a regular guy like me, she would have aborted even if we want to keep the baby.

Have you seen the interview on Youtube? You are just projecting your preconceptions unto the lady. She got pregnant and told Sammie Okposo and he got mad and started threatening her to abort it and calling her all sorts of names and disrespected her in many ways. While she told him she felt uneasy about aborting the baby and needed some time to make a decision. Dude went the Nigerian big man on her and started intimidating her and thereafter blocked her on all channels and she snapped. The result, called out his arse.

You must not allow him control how you see yourself. There is nothing wrong with you. Put the blame where it should be - at the loins and mind of your husband. He has a serious sexual addiction problem. Worse, it is for prostitutes and porn.

Have a showdown talk with him where you draw the line - he should open up to you on his problem and how he came to be this way. He should agree to see a sex therapist and since you are also spiritual people, go for deliverance too. I prefer a two-pronged approach to issues like this.

If he does not agree or is not commited to this, consider moving out of his house and if it still persists consider divorce.

Consider the possibility of STDs, unintended consequences and other spiritual issues that may accompany such serial entanglements with prostitutes. There may be danger ahead. Protect yourself and your daughter. Physically. Spiritually.

In Exodus chapter 32, the Israelites built a golden calf and started a celebration around it and termed it a "a festival to God (Read 32:5-6). " Did Jehovah approve of that ceremony?

The celebration angered God and it led to the death of 3,000 people because despite its claim to be a festival to the true God, it was really a pagan festival! He wasn't fooled.

Christmas likewise, is steeped in Paganism. Jesus is actually the sun god Saturnalia. The gift giving was also a part of that celebration. I think it was to ward off evil.

The first white settlers in America did not celebrate Christmas. They regarded it as a pagan festival.

True Christians are admonished to "stop touching the unclean thing." (Read 2 Cor 6:14-18). You too should!

Why not visit www jw.org and start a free online bible study? It is the best decision you can take, to come to accurate knowledge of the Truth (Read John 17:3). Start Now!

Can you read yourself? You wrote yourself they carved a golden calf to worship. Where did the Christians celebrating Christmas erect golden calves or pagan gods? Is the day not set aside for God?

Why are you comparing oranges to apples?

LeBron played a handicapped Miami Heats and claimed that was his most difficult ring. Hoohoo. Shannon 'not too sharp' and similar Lebtards were chorusing such a dumb narrative like it is the gospel. When they tell you "LeBron had to win 2 games on his own" I laugh. Without that Kyrie injury, GSW were settling for a sweep. Maybe they don't remember, but Cleveland lost the only game Kyrie played in (and yes Kyrie played 43+ mins - even more than Curry did). Providence allowed Matthew Delly to be moved into the starting line up and he was the one who was turning the series over. Incase people forgot, Bronny had a big game 1 but his team still lost. So the notion that his big numbers was solely what got his team those wins can only be from the archive of someone who watches the back of his TV. Matthew harassed Curry so badly he was turning over the ball 6 more times than usual and GSWs ORB was 10-15 lower than Clevelands. We were getting abused physically. LeBron called them the grit squad. Even when Curry had a decent game 3 he was still very inefficient with negative +/-. Meanwhile Della was having Cleveland highs of +15 and +13 in those 2 games. LeMAO never came close. Yet "he won those 2 games on his own". Iguodala's MVP was not about defending LeBron. That was just lazy analysis (Lebron's numbers barely shifted). Iggy was inserted to that starting line up to frustrate Matthew. That was what opened the series for GSW and it was blowout after blowout till fade. People who swept the 60 win ATL Hawks in the ECF should stop telling us about Kevin Love. He was injured game 1 of the first round against the Celtics. They did fine without him. I have since shown that Kyrie played full minutes up to OT and his team lost. Cleveland always needed someone to take Curry out - simple. Tyronn Lue who worked with David Blatt took notes and that was his strategy for all the years that Cavs and GSW went at it - even when Kevin Durant was riding Curry's coattail. That same Kevin Durant that had just frizzled a 3-1 lead to a player he is 8 inches taller than and supposedly carried to 2 rings. Stupid things we have to read here from not too sharp people.

Your map of the world is not the only map in the world. There are 7.9 billion other maps. Quit talking down on people and show some respect boy!

Lebron saying his Bubble ring was his most difficult ring was not necessarily because of the Heats. The emotional torture and existential fear of the year's corona pandemic and the stressful conditions of the Bubble itself and how all these affected him and stretched him to his limits as an athlete was what he was referring to.

Saying Iggy's MVP was not because he defended Lebron well is a blatant lie. Without Iggy shutting down Lebron in that series nobody would have awarded him any MVP, take that to the bank.

Your other points remind me of the recent Messi and Ronaldo fanboys ballon d'or argument - pure bias points against the one you 'hate'. Just emotions.
