Was on the Lekki Toll Gate ground on 19.10.20, a night before the massacre. I sensed danger on 20.10.20. Didn't go anywhere.

Was shocked around 6:30 pm when a female neighbour told me she saw protesters still there that evening after the army had moved in, on her way back from work.

I feared for there safety.

DJ Switch's Instagram live and the Twitter updates of killings broke me that Tuesday, 20.10.20. I was stunned. Speechless.

My trauma quickly turned into anger as Government and an armada of paid hacks invaded the internet and started denying the killings, sowing doubts and calling it fake news. I just shut down. I had had enough.

Lmaoooo lucky you.

More importantly there is need for the revolution to be mental. It doesn't have to be violent. But without the revolution happening mentally you're just going to the streets to waste your time

Have had troubles sleeping the last two nights. That Lekki Toll Gate massacre broke me.

How can the army kill people who were kneeling down singing the national anthem while waving the Nigerian flag in darkness?

This single piece of madness may have changed the course of Nigeria as we know it. Unless a miracle happens.

I can literally feel his pain reading this article grin

Rob Parker is shameless. Congratulate the dude for his accomplishments and move on, no, he's bitching about, actively hating a player like he is a jilted spouse.

What about the context? With an incompetent front office and bad culture Cleveland was a dead end and Lebron knew it.

Without a competent front office and/or a competitive team culture you are doomed before you can even compete.

She never ever failed a drug test even after being singled out for rigorous testing. You guys should stop disrespecting the dead with spurious allegations just to defend LeNomad and athletes of this era. Show some decency

So when Jimmy Butler was screaming "You can't guard me! You can't guard me!" on his foes during the regular season, he wasn't just mouthing off. He meant every bit of those words. Dude is a legit superstar that flew under the radar all these years and bided his time.

And to think that the Lakers would have gotten him in the last free agency if they hadn't fallen for that Kawhi's trap!

Markieff usually hits 3s to offset some of his liabilities. This game he didn't make any, got cooked on the defensive end and literally threw the game away, THAT WAS AWFUL!

He was kept in the game because AD was injured. If not a Rondo would have been influential at clutch time.
Sports / Re: The NBA Begins by DeeMain(m): 4:49am On Oct 10, 2020
What I don't understand is the mentality of keeping injured or unfit marquee players at crucial points in the game. Why not sub AD off when he was hobbling and Lakers were playing one man down as a result?

Lebron rightly predicted the Heat's energy coming into came 4 and prepped his team mates to match it. I believe the series would be 2-2 now without that intervention.

LeBron on why he texted his teammates Tuesday that Game 4 was a must-win.

He explains why he did that when he woke up that morning.

"I felt like for me, personally, this was one of the biggest games of my career. I just wanted to relay that message to my teammates, the type of zone I was in, the type of moment it was and the kind of team we were playing against...They were going to come out like the energy they finished Game 3 with with their energy very high..."

"They are just a gritty, so damn-well-coached team. I feel like if we're going to be a championship ballclub, if we want to really be a championship team, that we got to have that same grit and that same attitude. It was my mindset. I'm still in it."

The trauma from sexual assault is often lifelong.

The fact she's just coming out on the issue shouldn't be criticised.

A lot of men here if they are the ones that were gang-raped by a group of hardcore fagg0ts wouldn't say a word.

Anyways, a word of advice to rape apologists... don't carry the same attitude to the Western world. It might not end well...

If they can get someone like Kawhi of course. But I don't think they should go for any other wing at the expense of Giannis. One of them may have to move to the 5 during the playoffs but it will absolutely be worth it. Bron handling the ball, two knockdown 3 and D players, Giannis and AD at 4 and 5. That's a cheat code.

No plastic rings bro. A Giannis or Kawhi or Dame in Lakers will dilute the quality amd honour of the ring.

I wonder how someone can look at a team having LeBron and AD and think they're more likely to miss the playoffs than win the championship. I wonder how, all of a sudden, Kawhi had more championship credibility that someone who has been to eight finals in the last 9 years. More than someone who carried J.R Smith and Matthew Dellavedova to the finals. Everybody somehow were just willing to be blind to the fact that Kawhi didn't have to play KD in the finals.

Rob Parker can't be redeemed. His hatred for LeBron is the worst I've seen among journalists. If I wasn't seeing him on TV I would have thought he was a regular commenter on this thread.

Hehehehe grin

Me? Wanting friction between Bron and AD? LOL

Everyone who watched that game could see how visibly upset AD was. Its not mind reading to speculate that a team with two superstars can have friction at some point. With the way things played out in the fourth you can't be wrong to assume the lack of touches got to him. Then the whole whispering thing which just added fuel to the fire. That was the first thing that occurred to me, and I went online and it turns out the a lot of people thought the same, so its not rocket science.

AD is averaging 33 12 and 3, Bron is averaging 29 11 and 9 in fewer minutes. I assure you, no one will give AD a FMVP vote with the way things stand. It would be unanimous.

AD is a generational talent entering his prime. It would be asinine to believe he wouldn't want to come out of Brons shadow and build his own legacy.

You too like quarrel grin

Didn't want this to be the case but it seems this whole FMVP thing is causing dissent between Bron and AD. It's going to be awkward on that podium when the winner is announced.

I do not think this is so o. AD said the confrontation was all about their defensive lapses and they trying to hold each other responsible like they've always done.

Plug any decent role player there and it would have been same result.

Books and documentaries have nothing to do with what transpired on the court. The Bulls brought him back to relevancy and he would have never been this pop culture phenom if he continued wasting his contributions in San Antonio. He was there in San Antonio in a pretty solid team. They won nothing. Why didn't he propel them to anything?

The only reason we are here talking about Dennis Rodman today is because he played for the Bulls else he's just Ben Wallace with a little more rebounds

Guy, Rodman was a proud 2 time champion who didn't give a shit and carried a chip on his shoulder when the Bulls came for him. And he told them straight up that he didn't give a **** if he played for them or not.

MJ insisted that they must get Rodman by all means. Pippen felt it wasn't the right thing considering the bad blood and enmity between them and between the Pistons and the Bulls but MJ convinced him in the end.

Point is not to diminish MJ's greatness but to quash all this talk about Lebron needing help to win a Championship.

This is an awful take. Other teams were ready because? MJ returned March after almost two years out of basketball. You thought they would just romp to a title?

Rodman needed the Bulls more than the Bulls needed Rodman. They won a whole 3peat without him and he was a complete non factor in at least one of the 3peats

Can also say no Ray Allen and LeNomad is on 2 rings as we speak

Books and documentaries and interviews have been written and done on this. No need to argue bro. We know who needed who, who shamelessly went for a sworn enemy and who bent over backwards to get who and who didn't give a damn if he played for the Bulls or not and told them so.

Why would you ever reference points when talking about his contributions when you know damn well that has nothing to do with why he's in the hall of fame. Its like bringing up Steph Curry and mentioning how many blocks he had. Rodman was an elite defender and rebounder. Led the league in rebounds in the regular season throughout the second three peat and averaged over 30 minutes per game during the playoffs. Why are you old heads intent on rewriting history?

2 Defensive Player of the Year awards, 7 All-Defensive First Teams. Won the rebounding title 7 times. Averaged 13.1 rebounds per game. Holder of an NBA-record 159 games with 20-plus rebounds.

A monster of a defender who had no limits defense wise.

His name is Dennis Rodman. Call his name.

So they were not unbeatable after winning the first 3 peat?

Every single team in the history of basketball have had a Rodman like player. Don't try to paint him like some star. He was 36 when he came over and not even in his prime.

In 97 they won the title with little or no contribution from Rodman

They were struggling after MJ came back. Other teams were ready for them. The best rebounder in the game and baddest defender in the NBA, Bad Boy Dennis Rodman came to their rescue.

This is no secret. A little googling will reveal this to you. And The Last Dance confirmed this.

Facts.

No Rodman no 2nd 3 peat.
