Anybody familiar with Nigeria would have known from the beginning that monies saved from the subsidy removal would only be vigorously wacked.

Even though I have long known of this, I am partial to leaving people to freely pronounce as they see fit especially where the spelling lends itself to the pronunciation they choose and in light of the fact that English is a foreign language to most people in this part of the world.

No Frenchman for example goes about telling an Englishman that the correct pronunciation for Paris is Pari. This little example goes to show that language is dynamic and malleable and people are in fact entitled to mold it to suit themselves - and this is why we have many distinctions between written and spoken British English and American English. The Americans spoke and wrote it as they felt comfortable and it became standard, accepted and right for them.

Left to me, I would change the spelling of something like "Elephant" to "Elifant" for example, and remove letters which are silent in the pronunciation of certain words such as the "p" in psychology and the "b" in debt.

Of course Uncle Sam must recoup his gigantic cash outlay in the form of favorable pricing when purchasing Nigeria's highly prized Bonny Light crude petroleum oil, but then, there can be no more patriotic an application of a nation's resources, than to cover the cost of security for its citizens AND for visiting foreign investors.

Nigeria's petroleum crude oil exports, most recently quantified as 1.5 million barrels daily in December 2024, and priced at $77 per barrel that year, translates to a hard currency export earning of $117 million USD per day that is THEORETICALLY paid into Nigeria's federal coffers.

With this magnitude of hard currency income stream accruing on a daily basis, Nigeria can easily afford to set aside a few days worth of oil export proceeds as its anti-terror war-chest from which the US Department of War can be reimbursed to cover at least part of the dollar price tag of all missiles that are devoted to eradicating Islamist terrorists and other destructive vermin from Nigerian soil.

Good. I hope Atiku can support you at the primaries, same way the apc stalwarts supported buhari back then, otherwise, we'll vote tinubu, a southerner and the devil we already know. This is the moment we've been waiting for. As we promised to deliver lagos for you in 2023, same state is in the bag, come 2027 non-lagosians, please keep off and support any candidate you like in 2027 in your states. A soldier ought to be more aware than most about how artillery shells, bombs, and missiles wreak their damage upon detonation. The shrapnel payload that flies outward when a hand grenade explodes, for example, is not ASSURED to hit every person within the blast radius of that grenade that is standard issue for soldier going into battle.

It is therefore perfectly normal that Nigerian military personnel posted near the northern Nigerian locations where missiles landed on Christmas night would have witnessed panicked terrorists fleeing in disarray from the target area, but perhaps in numerical strength that ruled out direct confrontation for the observing federal troops.

What those soldiers were unlikely to witness in real time would be the scene of industrial-scale carnage that was the aftermath of those warheads igniting to deadly effect on impact amid crowds of terrorist gunmen. The sea of roasted terrorist cadavers and meat chunks thereof, are certain to lie in areas BEHIND enemy lines where federal troops dare not venture without robust air support from orbiting helicopter gunships laying down suppressing fire in coordination with infantry maneuvers on the ground.

All the same, night-vision surveillance drone cameras will have taken multiple photographs of the bomb damage meat-grinder hells-scape in ultra-high resolution imagery to be studied by US Department of War analysts who may feel no obligation to share such imagery with the general public, due to tactical considerations in what is an ongoing pest eradication program being implemented to stabilize Nigeria before it is too late.
+
I just dont know why you are so sure this happened as you described. I mentioned that reporters have been to the scenes. I dont know what kind of magical clean up would not even leave a drop of blood behind.

Especially when we consider that it would be to the credit and triumph of both governments if they were able to say X amount of terrorists were eliminated. Yet they have not even claimed one.

Anyway sha. Káṣìmáawòó.

Some Nigerians are buying fuel at N900+ when they should be buying it at N739 due to the recent decrease from Dangote.

Transportation companies hiked their transport fare, making traveling difficult when there's been no fuel price increment.... Obi didn't react to that nor ask his followers to boycott or call out marketers selling fuel above N800...

Seems he doesn't react to anything good...

5. Is tribalist and makes judgements by tribe or religion.
6. Is cognitively dissonant
7. Ignores corruption and abuse of power, celebrates them
8. Hates the rule of law

This subject of Islamist terror gangs conducting slave-raids and massacres in Nigeria with such alarming regularity is a very emotional subject for me because it hits so close to home.

Anybody at all, who will lend a hand towards the pest eradication that is so urgently needed in Nigeria should be welcomed with open arms, because the tragic consequence of inaction has been seen in Nigeria since 2009, in a pattern that is spreading at an alarming rate.

I could not be bothered reading most of your rambling dissertation, but what you need to keep in mind is a firm assurance that MORE precision missile and drone strikes are scheduled for Nigeria in the very near future, and that there isn't a damn thing you can do to stop it.

If you cannot bear the thought of brain-damaged inbred Islamist terror gun-toting slave-raiders being generously assisted by the US military in their quest to collect a 72-virgin allocation in their imaginary paradise, I would like to suggest that you stage a one-man protest in front of the White House, where you can stomp about screeching like a lunatic while holding a placard bearing your declaration that reads as follows: " I am mad as hell, and will not take it any more".

If you happen to be an immigrant in America who has the audacity to criticize US governmental foreign policy, you'll probably get tackled by ICE agents during your protest, and summarily deported to a lovely residence-of-no-return located in beautiful El Salvador

Let's accept that there are different views on this matter.

There remains no need to think anyone who suspects the intentions of the USA is a terrorist sympathizer.

I myself have suffered loads of such accusations not just from this matter but from my defense of Palestinian rights.
I have even been called a closet Muslim, of all things, and a spokesman for Hamas to boot.

Uncle Sam may have opted to keep the crispy critter pictures from public view, and since the areas hit by missiles were all deep within "enemy territory" there are unlikely to be photo-journalists of any nationality that will be willing this early in the campaign, to risk a journey through the badlands to visit the places where terrorist camps and their occupants were so recently reduced to charcoal briquettes.

Escapee terrorist stragglers, whose colleagues are now enjoying their allocations in paradise, still pose a deadly threat to road traffic and even to low-flying aircraft, therefore it will still be a while before civilian eyes will ever see Uncle Sam's coveted BDA (Bomb Damage Assessment) photographs.

Let us be patient, Ogawa Deep Sight. There is more pyrotechnics to come much sooner than most could possibly imagine. At some point, when the tide begins to turn, drone shots of the dead meat that we yearn to see, WILL be published for all the honest world to enjoy.

In pursuit of my master's degree in current affairs at the prestigious University of YouTube, my diligent research uncovered another video clip today that explains Nigeria's predicament with visuals so clarifying even a seasoned weed consumer like me can comprehend without losing the gist of the story.

It is heartwarming to note that a random guy conducting his own unofficial research online can arrive at such an accurate picture of where next US drones and missiles can be targeted for maximum effect. One can imagine, with the intelligence updates currently in progress by US imagery analysts, that the next few missile launches and surgical drone strikes will record MASS casualties and send hundreds of invaders to join their ancestors deep in the fiery bowels of Hades where they belong

One of the beauties of Uncle Sam's ongoing terrorist extermination initiative in Nigeria is the remote, uninhabited desolation that is common to MOST of the places in Nigeria's far north where the invading terrorist gangs choose to set up camps as they infiltrate Nigeria from Mali, Niger and Chad. Speaking of Chad, the islands of Lake Chad are a target-rich environment where terrorist camps can be reduced to ash without undue concerns about fishermen and their families getting smoked in error.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrItewNteSs
+
I dont know if you have better info, but as far as I have heard, not a single terrorist was killed in the Xmas day strikes and indeed it appears that so much said for "precision strikes" most of those strikes appear to have landed in farmland.

We will keep watching how it goes. Perhaps better information will still be provided on this first strike though.

PS: Lake Chad has been shrinking for a while.
