Wake up, my friend! Wake up!
There is no democracy in Naija. Know this and be at peace with yourself 😎
And how do we get to democracy? By folding our arms as you recommend?

It is you who needs to wake up.

If you have nothing to offer save asking us to fold our arms and accept tyranny then it's best you take the advise of someone up there who said you'd best your keep quiet.

You are talking too much.
Listen, you are in Nigeria, and in Nigeria, the law does not work. If it does, it works for those who don't have long legs. Understand this and have peace with yourself.
Moreover, don't be surprised that Sowore's second arrest will be on the grounds of a fresh charge all together, and not on the basis of the charge for which he was granted bail earlier. E be like say you no know where you dey 😎
Citizens like you are inimical to the progress of any democracy.

Let the truth also be told, the Niger Delta are having it better under Asiwaju.
Not a single part of Nigeria is having anything better under this questionable character with an untraceable identity - unless you are referring to that "part" of Nigeria which consists strictly of businessmen-politicians.

Global economic cooperation under established international laws and systems as well as military power and effective deterrence.

Israel is central to the world order that emerged post world war 2 because one of the germane issues was the resettlement of the Jews after the holocaust. That's what birthed the present fracas
As long as Israel does not have a safe and secure homeland, one of the objectives of the world order post WW2 is not met
Its one issue, it is not the central matter of the world order. You make it appear as though the world order depends on Israel's security.

Israel is central to the world order by virtue of the agreement of 1948 and the events before it
Iraq was once seen as the USA of the ME
Qatar is also beginning to look likewise
The US like other countries does not have permanent friends
Only permanent interests
How is Israel central to the world order. Do you really understand what the world order is or means? ? ? ?

Me I no dey watch CNN, but I do watch CNBC for business news, I watch Al Jazeera for hard news, yes they report killings in Nigeria, never ever heard any mention of Christian genocide in Nigeria.
The truth is that there is terrorism in Nigeria which affects both Christians and Muslims and to the extent that it is mostly in the North it probably affects Muslims more. Nonetheless there are specific areas where it cannot be denied that there have been clear and consistent attacks against Christian communities which have produced large amounts of fatalities. These are mostly in Benue and Plateau States over the last few decades (and currently) as well as in Southern Kaduna. In addition to these there have been striking cases which leap out such as the murder of Deborah. All of these when put together can genuinely create a valid impression of persecution of Christians by terrorist groups - especially when you consider the amount of Churches which have been targeted and burnt. . . .

It doesn't help that the govt has not been seen to help. When recently more than 200 people were killed in Benue it took the pope to get our own president to condescend to visit. Buhari's Media Aide, Femi Adesina infamously told people to surrender their lands to terrorists to save their lives. All in all the picture is not good, even though, like i said, all parties suffer from the terrorism.

Let's agree.

We both distrust some news source.

You distrust anything I produce, I distrust Arise.
Its not just a question of distrusting anything you produce. Yes, I admit I set out to prove a point, but you really nailed your own coffin by first, producing a source that was owned by BAT and secondly producing an evening tabloid.

These two gaffes show that you do not have the logical consistency needed to even make the initial claim you did.

End of story.

For your first point, you are not the only one praying for Hamas not to disarm. The entire right wing party in Israel don't want Hamas to disarm. The good part is that Israel has gotten all its living hostages, the next stage of this war will be very interesting.

For your second point, Israel cannot annex all of Judea and Samaria. Palestinians would have to make good use of Area-A of Judea because that will be the only area left for them eventually. They can use Ramallah as their capital because Jerusalem is a no-go-area for them.

I see
Protecting Israel is US foreign policy that's hinged on the world order instituted in 1948
Israel is NOT central to that world order. That world order transcends Israel.
Protecting Israel is central to the USA simply because Israel is in fact more or less the USA in the middle east.

Look, denying an event because you reject the medium through which it is reported is just escapism. I have a friend who so hates the left that he denies anything reported on CNN / MSNBC etc. So even if CNN reports that the sun rose this morning, he will denounce it as fake news.

Thats what you have to learn. Disliking a news platform is not grounds to simply deny every piece of news proceeding therefrom.

I could do the same to you.

I don't think that was the case then
I don't think the US supports Israel because they believe they are chosen
.
Of course the central reason is strategic - Israel is nothing but THE US Military Outpost in the Middle East.

Nevertheless the connection through Judeo-Christian delusions runs deep.

Did you not see an interview not so long ago between Tucker Carlson and Senator Cruz in which the Senator was arguing that his prime purpose in Congress is to support Israel, because, according to him, the Bible commands him so to do?

Who must tell Nigerians what laws must exist within her state divisions?

No one.

Sharia was implemented in states that thought it fit.

The US has her problems and should focus on them..
.
Nigerians are the ones to decide and in that regard there is presently a conflict in our laws because it is false to claim to be secular and yet have religious laws. It is contradictory to say that we have freedom of religion, thought and conscience and then prosecute people for blasphemy. That can never make sense.

Not like we rely on her for anything.
We do.
