Nnamdi Kanu was rendered (extraordinarily transferred) from Kenya to Nigeria in June 2021.

The Nigerian government publicly announced his re-arrest on June 29, 2021, stating he was intercepted on Sunday, June 27, 2021.

Subsequent court filings by his legal team have referenced the date of his seizure in Kenya as June 19, 2021.

Going by the above, it would appear my recollection was indeed correct, that the sit at home began after the extraordinary rendition from Kenya . . . .

Nevertheless, I checked in a rush, so pls do correct me if perhaps the singular source I checked is wrong . . . .

PPS: For the sake of clarity, I do not suggest that the sit at home and its barbaric enforcement was thereby justified in any way.
