so how has tinubu successfully tackled corruption, nepotism, cronyism, hunger, unemployment, hardship, poverty, inflation, wasteful government spending, budget padding, insecurity, bad governance, failing public infrastructure, poor medial services and falling standard of education?
The frog seems to mistake more revenue for the govt as improvement in the economy of the country.
tctrills: I know everyone on your list, I only commented on my favorite. I have listened to each of them talk. Mehdi Hassan even went as far as condemning Israel's rescue of 4 hostages in June of last year because innocent Palestinians died in the crossfires. With men like Mehdi Israel is always wrong. The comedian Bassem on the other hand blamed Israel because members of his family in Gaza could not attend his wedding in Egypt, forgetting that Gaza has a land border with Egypt. It's funny Egypt is never mentioned when talking about the open air prison. And it is tragic that Egypt refused to give refuge to the people of Gaza and they were hail for it. Imagine how many lives would have been saved if Egypt opened it's doors to Gazans. To me, this is the biggest tragedy of this war. No one cares about the Gazans the only hate Israel. I heard Norman Finkelstein celebrating Egypt's refusal on a Candace Owens interview. He even mentioned that Egypt was promised billions of dollars by Biden's administration and the government of Israel but refused. Norman is one of the most callous human beings to appear on TV.
Your view is very one sided and just as you say that with people like Mehdi, Israel is always wrong, with people like you Palestine is always wrong, if it even should exist at all.
There is a clear reason why Arab States will not admit Palestinians and it is because that would amount to handing over the rest of Palestine to Israel and represent the final victory of Zionism with its agenda of ethnic cleansing. Someone like Trump said that he wanted Gazans to leave Gaza for him to build "Trump Gaza" there and even callously shared a musical video with his gold statues in Gaza. That is what is callous - not the words of a sensible person of conscience and integrity like Norman Finkelstein.
If Egypt opened its borders at the height of the slaughter, Gaza will empty into Egypt and Israel will seize it permanently, along with the USA.
Oh, by the way, I just smiled when I saw you write that less than five per cent of Trumpists want people to "go back to Africa." You are drinking Kool Aid my friend, you are wearing rose-tinted glasses. You are deeply, deeply lost in this matter, far far out at sea and unable to see the reality right in front of you.
Christianity is commonly thought to have spread from Europe, yet history shows that Africa was one of the earliest countries where Christianity took root.
Africa na country indeed. Typical. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Kukutente23: Egypt was a strong Christian nation until it was overrun by the Arabs who killed most of the original Christian indigenes who were black and replaced them with Arabs. The original Egyptians were blacks. God redeemed them from his curse when he took Jesus to them to rescue him from Herod. Since then, the country grew in Christianity and one of the most prolific Christian writers of the early church Apollos lived and worked for years in Egypt. The same Arabs crying over Gaza today will not tell us when they intend to return Egypt to its original owners cc: DeepSight
Other than during the time of the Kingdom of Kush's rule over Egypt, (the time of the black pharaohs - 25th Dynasty from approximately 747 BC to 656 BC), I am not certain that Egypt was "black."
LordReed: But we had own talking animal stories didn't we? And weren't we satisfied with attributing things to the gods before Arabian prophet and dying god man stories came to us.
Indeed true. I just wanted to point out that it is not a solely African disease as appeared to have been suggested by some on this thread. It is retlatively recent in historical terms that Europeans were burning their women at the stake as witches - they killed hundreds of thousands.
CoronaVirusPro: Tell that same God to raise the Titanic or save every passenger in plane coming from 33,000ft and bound for a crash.
Y’all just be digesting fictions and what hurts the most is that, you passing it on to kids which is killing their curiosity and sense of research.
Everything is God! We worship God the most important in the world and we one of the most messed up. No one one can even touch our refinery with spirituality and get all working but be telling us one man fed 400 people with one loaf and fish.
LordReed: Sadly. We are too comfortable accepting things as they are and saying it is the will of the gods.
To the credit of Africans, they are not the ones who came up with stories about talking snakes and donkeys, a man walking on water or someone flying from Arabia to Jerusalem in the night on a winged horse.
tctrills: Norman Finkelstein, Dave Smith and Cenk Uygur are people I listen to but don't agree with. I think Norman is an idiot, just my opinion though. The Joe Rogan experience is actually very neutral. He loves to ask questions not necessarily giving us his opinions. Cenk Uygur believes eliminating the Yemen government that has prevented international trade on the Red Sea should be a war crime. I often listen to these guys to get a balanced view I would find time to send you 5 to ten videos that express my opinion on the Israel/Palestine crisis. Hopefully today.
And you are right about those who supported the Palestine cause. But you know who did not support the Palestine cause? Hamas and the Palestinian people who kept refusing deal after deal and the opportunity to have their own nation rather preferring to be the world's most pampered refugees and embracing death and violence.
You mean you don't know Mehdi Hassan? Or Bassem Yousef?
WizardOfNG: Tragic El Rufai is too arrogant to understand the 'optics' of his antics. Even a kid can tell it is personal with this man and that he is behaving like a toddler who has had his toy taken away because Tinubu, correctly as we can all see today , snubbed him.
He has gone on to unravel as a hardcore extremist whose capacity for 'acting out' unacceptably cannot be predicted by anyone. "Totally unhinged" comes to mind.
Many Southern leaders, to include those not fans of Tinubu, are silently fuming at El Rufai's conduct/talk and unrestrained arrogance laced with veiled and ungracious threats against a Southern President with even his son joining in the show of shame.
Whereas nothing of the sort was done to Buhari by Tinubu or any other Southern leaders who largely remained decorous in the face of the then PMB's gross misrule.
No Southern leader threatened Buhari uncouthly, as virtually all born-to-rule Northerners, are doing openly today. Yet they don't appreciate they are creating a real and toxic divide between South and North.
Southern leaders won't talk loquaciously as El Rufai and his fellow Northern supremacists are doing. They will simply resolve to do what must be done to assist Tinubu win and foil Fulani imperialism, hegemonistic arrogance and open disdain for Southerners.
To see the black frog gone Is a task that must be done.
Ofunaofu: The APC, an internationally recognized terrórist organization, is claiming that Atiku’s statement on the unconstitutionally conducted local government elections in Rivers State under an illegally imposed sole administrator is a call to anarchy
kedeojo: Olodumare will not hsten any expiry date because you want Biafra just because you people can't get access to power again. Aguyi ironsi and Ojukwu fought Isaac boro and killed most of his and he was to be killed by those two animals because he declared Niger delta republic before the glorious dimka coup that eliminated Ironsi. About a year later the foolish ojukwu who now sense of no power again by him and his people declared Biafra republic and he expected the rest of the country to clap for him. There shall never be Biafra cos you guys will suffer the fate of Isaac boro. Then ironsi and you igbos believe one Nigeria because he was in control but now in wilderness of power, you people remember Biafra. Did you people shout Biafra republic in 2023 before election because of you people imaginary obi presidency. If Nigeria to break, it will be all region going but now we are one Nigeria. The tea aguyi ironsi served boro and denied Niger delta republic is still the same tea you people have be served.
Jakumo: When I saw this post, I initially thought I wrote it because it captures the truth in the diction that I would choose.
It may interest any Simon Ekpa fan boys in da house that standard procedure for naturalized citizens who are jailed for terrorist activities, ios that their adopted citizenship will be REVOKED and they will be DEPORTED back to the country of their birth, where ANOTHER jail sentence will likely await them..
When Simon Expa has been released from that jail in Finland, his very next stop while wearing leg chains and handcuffs, will be the airport, where he will deport BACK to Nigeria. With this reality assured, one can only hope that the Nigerian government will temper justice with mercy, and allow Mr. Simon Ekpa to serve just 65 years in Kiri-Kiri Maximum Security jail, rather than serve a life sentence in jail.
I would be delighted for him to experience the jarring difference between Finnish Jail and Kirikiri.
tctrills: I am not sure I get the point of the video. Please do some explaining. It seems to be a race discussion. Why do you think it is relevant?
The point is to show you how deeply racism and certain backward ideas have been drilled into even children from decades ago. These kids will be adults now, probably far right Trumpists and Zionist Supremacists who believe people like you should be sent back to Africa.
tctrills: Can we do something really interesting? On the Israel Gaza conflict, give me links to the videos or writeups of some of your best influencers on the issue and I will give you 10 of mine and then we compare notes.
I don't like the reference to influencers because I am not really the kind of person that is "influenced" easily. You can bear witness to that once you see my unorthodox views on existential, philosophical and religious matters. Nonetheless I will play along. I believe you should hear out the following people on this matter:
1. Norman Finkelstein (who is a Jewish Scholar himself)
2. Mehdi Hassan (Zeteo)
3. Dave Smith
4. Piers Morgan (who spent about the first one year or more of the "war" rigidly supporting Israel but has now switched in light of how far they have gone).
5. Abby Martin
6. Liam Cunningham
7. Bassem Youssef
8. Joe Rogan (he turned down Netanyahu's request for a session recently)
9. Cenk Uygur (TNT)
10. Francesca Albanese (U.N Special Rapporteur on Palestine).
Are you familiar with these people?
If you need links just search for these people's pages on YouTube or ask me and I will send.
Did you ever see the debate between Dave Smith and Douglas Murray on Joe Rogan?
Gabrielshow24: Sorry, my bad. I was engaged with some ’cousins’👀 of mine that plagiarized my book then affirmed I corrupted or misplaced them.
Now given our settled stance, it's safe to conclude that's it's not completely wrong if Jesus were to be addressed as such—thereby, resolving some of the verses above. Do you agree?
tctrills: No problem do what you do. I dey wait you.
Its gonna be an epistle, beacuse there is so much to say to anyone who worships a race, such as you do. Nonetheless, ahead of that, I would like you to take a look at this clip -
tctrills: 1. There is definitely racism. But in Europe and the US, it is mostly an individual choice not systemic. Blacks have the same rights as whites in these countries.
2. Yes, many academic professors teach that in schools but in the real world, neo colonialism really is not there. You gave the example of France's former colonies in Africa that still keep very close relationship with France but we see Nigeria republic and Burkina Faso breaking off from France without any meaningful convenience. That goes to suggest that the strong hold was never present in the first place.
3. Actually yes, From antislavery to human rights as we know it today, all these came from the Judeo-Christian west or what we all call western culture. These were introduced to the world by the West. Democracy, free speech, freedom of worship, and a free society in general. These was not African culture, Arabic culture or Asian culture. These was the Judeo-Christian culture. Unfortunately as Europe and America are moving away from this culture so are their freedoms reducing. We are begining to see people go to jail for speech in Europe and the government lock down churches. Shame.
4. All parts of the world have been exploited. Nothing unique happened in Africa. On the other hand, Africa has been a top recipient of western aid. Blaming the west is just laziness and stupidity and an excuse not to get on our feet. Our leaders are the ones exploiting us not Europe. Since Nigerian independence, your leaders have stolen over 600 billion dollars. Money that would have transformed the country. So let's happily blame neo colonialism and not our corrupt leaders. Emancipate yourself from mental slavery.
Interesting. It's not that you don't have some points, you do. But you are also gravely wrong on some other points. I will like to create a separate thread to thoroughly discuss this matter. Cool?
tctrills: You have shown repeatedly that you hate whites and to you, it's only a crime when it's whites commiting it.
So there was no universal consciousness against slavery. That's why it continued in the Arab world until 1962 when the white man forced them to end it. There was no universal consciousness in the 1860s that's why the whites, the southern states went to war in the US. Your universal consciousness is just a lie built on nothing. You are only trying to cheapen the efforts real men put into ending slavery. So yes Mandela was seen as a terrorist by the US how is that relevant. I am not getting your point. If your purpose of pointing it out is to show that the white man is not always right then I agree with you but if you have another reason, let me know. As for neo colonialism, that's only going on in your mind. Singapore is not complaining of neo colonialism but the lazy black man will forever remain a victim. It's funny you call me the white man's slave when you are the one with the oppressed mentality. I see the white man as my equal but you see them as your slave masters and colonizers. Bros please move on. China has moved on, hope you know that parts of china were under the British empire? The UAE and Qatar too. They have all moved on to become richer than the Brits but Africans have only become experts in the study of oppressor/oppressed science. Brazil was colonized by the Portuguese but today it has a much bigger economy. South Korea was colonized by both the Chinese and Japanese. And every part of Europe has been colonized. Also, before the coming of the Europeans, Africans were colonizing themselves. From the Oyo empire to the Benin, Ghana, Fulani. So what exactly is your point.
If it helps to show you that you are wrong, my second book which I started a year ago focuses on Arabian racism and the Trans Saharan Slave Trade.
I repeat, I hate racism.
PS: If you say neo colonialism is only going on in my mind, then obviously you have not met a country called France and studied its relationship with its West African former colonies.
For purposes of the time when I fully revisit this issue with you, do I understand you to be saying -
1. There is no problem of racism in the world anymore, especially from the West. 2. There is nothing like neo colonialism, it is imaginary. 3. We must thank the white race for their high selflessness and nobility which singularly accounts for the end of slavery, segregation and the gift of civil rights in the USA. 4. The exploitation of Africa is unremarkable and we should get over it already as all parts of the world have been exploited.
tctrills: So yes, blacks fought on the side of the whites and we acknowledge that. But I am much more moved by the actions of the whites, ready to give up their lives for the freedom of the blacks. If that doesn't move you, then nothing can. For the case of Martin Luther, the whites had all the power, money and population. He appealed to their conscience. He appealed to their religion. This can't be said of any other race or culture. Give me another example where an evil was ended by appealing to the hearts and beliefs of the people. No bloodshed no cohesion. So why should I hate the whites when my own people are not better.
I repeat, I don't hate whites. I hate racism.
You also seem unable to understand that certain ideas become unsustainable at certain times. Not on account of the special nobility of white people but on account of a universal consciousness. If anything the West fought much to sustain things like apartheid as long as they could.
You chose to remain silent on facts like Mandela remaining on the US terrorism watchlist up till 2008.
I needn't go as far as still ongoing neo colonialism which is real and very serious.
tctrills: We can do that but just so you know, my great great grandfather had slaves. They were most likely Igbos like him. Maybe I would have continued in his tradition it slavery was not stopped. But to you, only the white man is guilty. The rest of us are victims of the white man
Another thing you appear to do which betrays your subservience to and worship of white people is that you do not even acknowledge the role of black rebels in the fight against slavery. The amount of bloody slave revolts is an interesting story of itself. I could not help but notice that you even laid the successes of the movement led by Martin Luther King at the feet of white people. As I have said myself, I acknowledge and celebrate those white people who fought against those evils, but you are so far gone that not only can you not acknowledge black heroes such as MLK and Mandela, but you try to praise white people for their work.
That segregation lasted till the sixties and apartheid till the nineties speaks more than I can ever speak. That an openly racist Trump is in the white house today says even more.
Anyway, as I said, let us focus on Gaza. We will have occassion to revisit this white worship of yours.
