mikeapollo: Okay, fine. People can go and collect the land from whom God says ''I have given the land to......'', and who says ''God has given the land unto me'' ...... and let's see their argument and reality. I repeat for emphasis: "God gave it to me" is not an argument on land matters. Not now, not before, not ever and not anywhere. Anyone frankly can say the same thing. You know quite well that the Jews were driven from the land by the Romans in 70AD and scattered across Europe. So you prefer they stay away so they can lose their land and never come back to the land of their great ancestors! Interesting1 That is not my position. My position is that there must be equity among the peoples dwelling there. Posession of land is determined by length and originality of stay. Arabs have been there for over a thousand years. No one can argue that they are alien to the land. Jews have already taken the majority of the land. Do you have any idea how tiny Gaza is? Let me give you a practical example. It is less than four times the third mainland bridge in length. And yet it is barricaded and controlled by Israel as though the people there are dogs in a cage. How about West Bank? The Istaeli's have populated it with ever increasing illegal settlements (illegal as declared by the UN - Mind you, Israel is a creation of the UN). Every attempt at Platestinian Statehood is blocked by Israel and the US. Live and let live. You are the bigger power. You have the biggest power in the world behind you. These people have nothing. Share equitably. That is my position. But as long as you wish to imprison them, occupy them, snatch the little land they have left, you will never find peace. |

mikeapollo: .
The Canaanites have been conquered and they no longer exist! So the land belong to the Jews, until the Canaanites are able to come back and take over the land from the Jews! Both the Arab and Christians have the Quran and Bible, which they both believe are God's Holy Books. It is clearly stated in both holy books that the land is given to Israel. There is no Palestinian mentioned anywhere. A land with solid historical record and prophetic insights in both the Quran and Bible cannot be wished away by those who own it. It will never happen even it takes 1million years for them to come back to their land. I am not sure you have a grasp of the history of this land. PS: "God gave it to me" is not an argument. |

mikeapollo: Which land is being occupied by who? Jerusalem, Hebron, Jericho, Bethlehem, Beersheba etc are all Jewish towns and cities that have exited for thousands of years before 1948, with a long list of Jewish Kings like David, Solomon, Hezekiah etc. So who are the occupiers? If you want to go that far back, who did the Jews seize those lands from. Canaanites. Now listen, Arabs have lived side by side with Jews and Christians in that land for over one thousand years. Jews were scattered by the Romans in 70 AD and lived mostly in diaspora in Europe. You don't come back 2000 years later and claim you own it all. Land never works that way. Americans have not had America for up to 300 years. These people have lived in that land for up a thousand years. So at best there should be equitable division. The apartheid system of containment in which the Jews own everything and enslave the Palestinians is injustice and will always generate rightful resistance. |

mikeapollo: Okay, we are listening; you can tell us the start. And don't start from 1948, because there had been Jerusalem, Beersheba, Hebron, Jericho, Bethlehem etc thousands of years before 1948 I am not even going back thousands of years. The simple point is denying a people their sovereignty and dignity. If you contain and occupy a people, they have a right to fight back. It's similar to the situation in apartheid South Africa and that's why SA stood up so much for Palestine. Nelson Mandela while alive stood up for Palestine. I hope you know these same Western Countries called Mandela a terrorist. One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. |

cr7lomo: The bombings in Gaza started because of Oct 7th.... so don't bring issues that had been going on between them for decades .... we are talking about the present situation I am sorry you can't discuss an event outside it's context. You should ask if an occupied people have the right to fight back against their occupier. If a foreign nation seizes your territory and holds you hostage and occupies your land, don't you have the right to fight back. And when you do, should everyone then say you started the fight? |

mikeapollo: 1,200 lives is the beginning. The end can be a 1million. That is why the Yoruba people have an adage that says that ''we only know the start of a war, but no one knows where it would end''. It is the bitter reality of wars; that is why people always preach against starting a war. The end is always more bitter than the beginning. Most wars are like that: e.g. the atrocities/deaths that led to the start of the Biafra war was far less than the atrocities/deaths that happened during the real war.
You cannot expect soldiers at war to be counting the number of dead people and stop the war at a number, for as long as they can still see that the enemies are still fighting and shooting at them to kill them. October 7 was not the start |

Guestmale: Then they should be hold responsible for whatever happens in Gaza. The trouble Palestinians are facing right now is as a result of bloody expedition carried out by Hamaz on 7th October 2023. No. The trouble Palestinians are facing dates back to 1948. This in no way started on October 7, which was a response and not a first strike. |

cr7lomo: If Israel is using the hostages as an excuse for other sinister reasons....then release the hostages and then we all we watch their next move... but first, the hostages must be released... this particular problem started because of Oct 7th.... so hamas should trace their steps back to Oct 7th and release the hostages Again, if you think this started on October 7 or because of it, you have not started. |

Guestmale: Simple as abc release all the hostages and disarmed,is that too much to comply with. Lol. You guys can be so simplistic. First, this has little to do with those hostages. Secondly, the biggest mistake Hamas can ever make will be to disarm. It's a non starter. No one leaves themselves that vulnerable. |

cr7lomo: Hamas should release the remaining hostages I total....if they do and Israel continues to strike...then we all can now say enough of it.... but as long as hamas no gree...come de do strong head....dey should keep on receiving the bombings ...and terrorists sympathisers should go and tell hamas to release the hostages....instead of disturbing us with genocide talks If you think this is about those hostages you have not even started. |

Christianity Etc › Re: God And Men - Trinity, Deity Of Christ - Again by DeepSight(op): 4:56am On Aug 22, 2025 |
Julia25: The bible categorically states that we are joint heirs with Christ, we will rule with him. The same way Christ rules with God Rev3:21. By nature, we are all the same because we will be like him! Ontologically, we will have Christ's nature, God's nature, In its fullness upon us. 1john3:2, Romans8:17, Gal4:7, Gal 3:29, 1Peter 1:4, John1:12, Hebrew 1:2, John17:22.
The Father has delivered all judgement to the Son but we, the saints, will perform judgement on the world along with Jesus. 1cor6:2, Luke 22:30, Dan7:22, Rev 20:4, Matthew 19:28, Rev 3:21.
So yes, ontologically speaking, we will be co-equal to God. Functionally, not so as Christ is head of us and God the Father is head of Christ 1Cor 11:3, (cf Col3:19). This is what I believe. Is it safe to say that you thus believe that you and all your fellow "saints" are God? |

Kukutente23: Collaborate to ban you? Because of posts that have no atom of sense? My guy, don't attach too much importance to yourself If the conduct and personal affairs of candidates and their families are your major headache in 2027 then you'll need mental evaluation but let's go there Seyi is reputed to resemble Ojukwu. Why has Tinubu not come out to debunk this? What is he hiding? His first daughter is reputed to give birth through surrogacy aka baby factory. Are you telling us that baby factory will be legalised in Nigeria by 2027? One of Remi's daughters is reputed to be in a rehab for drugs. In the light of Bola's history with drugs trafficking, are we to believe that Nigeria will become drugs distribution headquarters by 2027? The second daughter is a lesbian who lives in a $2m condo in NY. Does this mean our national Treasury will be used to house gays and lesbians all over the world? Voters are entitled to know
P.S. I don't subscribe to this but just showing you that you don't have monopoly of insanity if we're to all go that route You see. You can be logical when you want to. But once it concerns your religion. You switch off the brains. |

This is not about you making it 2. Regardless, you do not have what it takes to "make it" 3. That you thought this was about "making it" speaks valumes 4. Nothing profound. Nothing esoteric. Its simple. As I said before, Boxer had a maxim - "Napoleon is always right." You have the same maxim regarding BAT. For you, "BAT is always right." 5. Remember what Napoleon eventually did to Boxer. |

Babalegba: Fact of the matter is that they are human and humans do bad things but also good things. They are not angels but did far better than your own people would have done in the same circumstances. If not for British colonization, you are very likely to be wearing a grass skirt now and be an observant Muslim converted with the edge of the sword. Many of them left the comfort of their relatively developed homes to come to mosquito infested lands to educate the natives and build hospitals churches and schools . You caused your own poverty with poor leadership, greed, callousness and selfishness In 1983 I exchanged 50 Nigerian naira for almost 40 pounds Sterling. Now fifty naira cannot buy you biscuits in Nigeria but you can get an android phone for 40 pounds albeit a small one. Is Britain responsible for that. Nigerians are the destroyers of Nigeria but they always look for foreigners to blame. Yahoo Yahoo destroys an economy as it erodes trust. If you are an American looking to outsource a remote work ,deciding between Nigeria and India, would you go for Nigeria. Is Britain responsible for kidnapping and banditry in Nigeria . Are they the ones looting the treasury and subverting the will of the people. Maybe they are the ones increasing prices in Nigeria unilaterally and causing relentless inflation. I feel sorry for this country. I would have thought my response was sufficiently balanced to let you know - I admitted that they did some good things, and I also condemned Yahoo fraud. So what are you on about? Trying to paint your white exploiters as saints? Did I whimper a word exonerating our black bad leadership either? Rather than recognise the balance I offered, you appear to be engaging in white worship. If you say for example that I would have been wearing grass then you have zero knowledge of African history whatsoever. And when I say zero, I mean zero. You are also clueless about whats going on in the world. And you have a very very lamentably poor perspective on world history. |
