Nonsense, the worst comment i have read on this forum.. My honest advice is "seek medical & spiritual help as soon as possible.". Otherwise your end will be like the 75yr old child..

Family / Re: My Daughter Is Becoming Wayward; Please Advice Me.. by deeptesting(m): 7:23pm On Jul 14, 2015
As a parent with two daughters i took a very deep breath after reading your submission and can`t say i understand what you are going through as my children are still young but i can imagine your situation. I think you should have to Google up and read a lot of stuffs about the behavior of children her age as that will give you a deeper understanding of the current character she is exhibiting.

I also understand that most women are quite soft but as a man that day she came back will not go without a severe punishment especially for lying to me as her father at 15yrs.. It is unfortunate you allowed the matter to go without digging deep and ensuring she tells you the truth, there is no remorse without speaking the truth.

I think you and your Hubby should look inward to see how one person can be closer to home to watch and direct these children, what shall it profit you to work tirelessly while your child is going wayward?

Lastly, as a believer in Christ i strongly believe in prayers and have absolute confidence in the power of God, i will advice you to also embark on fasting, not just a mere denial of yourself some food for a period of time but a spiritual journey to seek the face of God because children are an inheritance from God.. The Bible in John 10:10 says the devil does not come except to steal and to kill, and to destroy but Christ has come that we may have life and have it more abundantly.

God bless you.

Just done with the attached book.. It is a book that will expose you to the physical & spiritual benefit of fasting as a believer in Christ.. I recommend it to all believers. The next on my list is "The Art of Prayer". By Kenneth E. Hagin.

Most important lesson(s) of my life were learnt through mistakes.. I will never frown or punish a child for a mistake made but i will ensure he/she learns something from it..

I strongly believe children should be left to be children i.e grow at their pace & not that of an adult. Nice post

Sometimes I wonder if ijegun & its environ isn't part of Alimosho LGA. The insides of ijegun, Ijagemo., Ijedodo & the likes are eye sore.
And to think we've got people in authority is pathetic..
Isheri-oshun as been a slum since my growing up days..
And to think dz same Alimosho is the most populated LGA in Lagos is saddening yet underdeveloped

I think part of the problem lies with the communities, the people feel helpless, they don`t really know how to go about bringing the Government attention to these areas. The community youths need to wake up, the social media is a great platform available to us to communicate with those in power. I also know we have some radio stations that deliberates on community issues they can take advantage of it to call in and make their input.

You are practically right on the population statistics and come to think of it APC got it`s highest vote from these areas, the Ikotun-Egbe road that was even mentioned is long over due, a part of the road at Ejigbo is no longer in use because of its bad state. Ijegun, Ijagemo and Ijedodo to say is an eye sore is an understatement.

If the Youths can mobilize they can take photos of these areaa and use the social media to bring Government attention to it.

Ijegun ooooooo... practically a slum undecided

I will write to them about Isheri Osun, that community from Ijegun-Ikotun axis has no entry point, also from the newly constructed road from Jakande Estate, the access point at Isheri Osun is also blocked no access.. How people in this community commute in and out daily is pathetic.

not all wish to live a double standard life...some it is deliberate, while others fall from their stand!! You should know about spiritual warfare and some if not strong will be subdued by it. What is wrong is continuing in it. I concur with safarigirl. I have experienced all sides, both sin and righteousness. And I tell you, righteousness pays and it is lovely. I have experienced the torments of sin and the uplifting of righteousness. I came to a conclusion: those who continue to engage in it outside the designated institution have a seared conscience or none at all. Something is just wrong somewhere when you feel cool and no remorse. No justification for transgression and I pray that God should not erase the memory of what have known if I encountered a sin situation!!

I am with you, i am concerned about those who deliberately grieve the holy spirit... 1John 1:8 and 2:5 clearly shows that we will still fall short of God's standard & all we need is to pray for repentance, meaning "having a change of mind" not to repeat such.

Thank you for your contribution.

sweetie, a very gud one there...honestly i don't get it any more...why is our society/generation so depraved?d worst & heartwrenching is dat ds is happening right in d "church"....& wen i say in d church, i mean itz happening among people who profess Christ, people who ought to b Christ-like...dz people kno d scriptures & they ar fully aware of God's words as pertain to sex...YET?......u meet a fellow *Christian" brother 2day, he asks u out, tellz u he loves to d moon & back....& by 2moro he makes a "moon-walk" out of d relationship just cus u turned down his sexual advances....den u try talking d situation over wt ur "Christian friends"(men & women alike) & what do u get from them? damn! they can't seem to understand y u wldn't give in to dat so as 2 "save ur relationship"..Jeezzzz!

talk about d pastors who ar supoz 2 teach & guide u?...oh dear, story for another day....if not for God i probably wld hv long ceased bn a Christian,i tell u..It is well

My dear, just like u said *stand for what u believ in*..don't give in no matter d pressure cus our God is a rewarder of those who honor & keep His words....itz not easy at all especially in a society where wrong is viewed as right & right viewed as wrong buh one doesn't hv to join d band-wagon..
I hvn't totally lost faith,i believ strongly dat there ar stil true/practicing christians out there..thatz y i wl always giv d benefit of doubt until u prove me right or wrong(talkin about d men who aproach me 4 relationships)..u kno,i always wonder,a guy telz a girl he wants 2 marry her,den suddenly he is in a "hurry" 4 romance(i.e kissing & d likes)/sex, it beats me cus i think d only "hurrying" u shld b doing is "hurrying" 2 meet her parents & "hurriedly" pay her bride price?..well,gues u ar not bn sincere afterall....
Once again like u said "one has to stand for what he or she believs in".......

I recently found Christ and doing all my best to live in accordance with his will through the help of the holy spirit. I was happy and my spirit leaped in joy when i read your opinion and that of the OP.. It is pretty difficult to live in this part of the world as a true follower of Jesus Christ but what will a follower of Christ be without temptation and ridicule?

However, i find it so hard to understand when those who profess Christianity are caught living a double life in the simplest of things, please i hope you and the OP are not into collecting money and gifts from these boys and later turn around to deny them sex? The Bible says "Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God".

The Bible also in James 1:27b says" We should keep oneself unspotted from the world"

It is my prayer that you girls keep to your faith and know that God will reward you earnestly that which you have lost in 21 folds.

The trekking of this Dude & his partners does not interfere with anyone's daily bread so why spew the trash?
Family / Re: Strange Issue About My Husband Pls Urgent Advice Needed by deeptesting(m): 7:37am On May 16, 2015
I think if you can't confront him then write him a letter. Now, you have to be very careful with the content, first state your discovery & how you felt about it & your position on it.

Then let him know you are willing to go through it with him in finding solution to whatever it is he is going through & if nothing you will go through a therapy process with him to end the habit.

Men are very egoistic and so your words should be filled with respect & humility, the husband needs help.

Finally, seek for help & advice from professional therapist if you can find any, don't rub it on his face, just get help on how you can handle the issue on your own until he decides to man up to talk about it. Sure it won't be easy, a man who needs help surely need love...Show him love..Be his mother.

I have no reason to weep for his demise, it is said to live a purposeful & fulfilled life " find what you love & die for it". He found what he loved & died for it.. He died fullfiled , the heavens are are standing in loud ovation just as the earth is pouring out its consolation.

May we find what we love and die for it, this is a dignified death and truth be said he has conquered death.

My consolation is to those he left behind, don't stay too long in mourning but rise and face life with the courage, strength & audacity that our friend, Brother, Uncle, Husband exhumed till the last moment. I am sure that is all he needs from his loved ones at this time.

I pronounce peace upon his family & every spirit of death lurking around them i chain & condemn to the deepest part of abyss.

IJN.
Amen.
