Taylor86:Nonsense, the worst comment i have read on this forum.. My honest advice is "seek medical & spiritual help as soon as possible.". Otherwise your end will be like the 75yr old child.. |
As a parent with two daughters i took a very deep breath after reading your submission and can`t say i understand what you are going through as my children are still young but i can imagine your situation. I think you should have to Google up and read a lot of stuffs about the behavior of children her age as that will give you a deeper understanding of the current character she is exhibiting. I also understand that most women are quite soft but as a man that day she came back will not go without a severe punishment especially for lying to me as her father at 15yrs.. It is unfortunate you allowed the matter to go without digging deep and ensuring she tells you the truth, there is no remorse without speaking the truth. I think you and your Hubby should look inward to see how one person can be closer to home to watch and direct these children, what shall it profit you to work tirelessly while your child is going wayward? Lastly, as a believer in Christ i strongly believe in prayers and have absolute confidence in the power of God, i will advice you to also embark on fasting, not just a mere denial of yourself some food for a period of time but a spiritual journey to seek the face of God because children are an inheritance from God.. The Bible in John 10:10 says the devil does not come except to steal and to kill, and to destroy but Christ has come that we may have life and have it more abundantly. God bless you. |
Just done with the attached book.. It is a book that will expose you to the physical & spiritual benefit of fasting as a believer in Christ.. I recommend it to all believers. The next on my list is "The Art of Prayer". By Kenneth E. Hagin.

Most important lesson(s) of my life were learnt through mistakes.. I will never frown or punish a child for a mistake made but i will ensure he/she learns something from it.. I strongly believe children should be left to be children i.e grow at their pace & not that of an adult. Nice post |

littlemistress:I think part of the problem lies with the communities, the people feel helpless, they don`t really know how to go about bringing the Government attention to these areas. The community youths need to wake up, the social media is a great platform available to us to communicate with those in power. I also know we have some radio stations that deliberates on community issues they can take advantage of it to call in and make their input. You are practically right on the population statistics and come to think of it APC got it`s highest vote from these areas, the Ikotun-Egbe road that was even mentioned is long over due, a part of the road at Ejigbo is no longer in use because of its bad state. Ijegun, Ijagemo and Ijedodo to say is an eye sore is an understatement. If the Youths can mobilize they can take photos of these areaa and use the social media to bring Government attention to it. |
littlemistress:I will write to them about Isheri Osun, that community from Ijegun-Ikotun axis has no entry point, also from the newly constructed road from Jakande Estate, the access point at Isheri Osun is also blocked no access.. How people in this community commute in and out daily is pathetic. |

Abeg which channel dey show this ball? |
winie:Thank you and continue to be in God's love. |
twosquare:I am with you, i am concerned about those who deliberately grieve the holy spirit... 1John 1:8 and 2:5 clearly shows that we will still fall short of God's standard & all we need is to pray for repentance, meaning "having a change of mind" not to repeat such. Thank you for your contribution. |
1dafullymade:I recently found Christ and doing all my best to live in accordance with his will through the help of the holy spirit. I was happy and my spirit leaped in joy when i read your opinion and that of the OP.. It is pretty difficult to live in this part of the world as a true follower of Jesus Christ but what will a follower of Christ be without temptation and ridicule? However, i find it so hard to understand when those who profess Christianity are caught living a double life in the simplest of things, please i hope you and the OP are not into collecting money and gifts from these boys and later turn around to deny them sex? The Bible says "Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God". The Bible also in James 1:27b says" We should keep oneself unspotted from the world" It is my prayer that you girls keep to your faith and know that God will reward you earnestly that which you have lost in 21 folds. |
Contact the Office of the Public Defender if you are in Lagos. They will surely assist her with free legal service. |
Too many kids here... Why can't we respect peoples decision on what they decide to do with their life and time? So much insults & vulgar words yet we claim to know God more than Jesus disciples. The trekking of this Dude & his partners does not interfere with anyone's daily bread so why spew the trash? |
I think if you can't confront him then write him a letter. Now, you have to be very careful with the content, first state your discovery & how you felt about it & your position on it. Then let him know you are willing to go through it with him in finding solution to whatever it is he is going through & if nothing you will go through a therapy process with him to end the habit. Men are very egoistic and so your words should be filled with respect & humility, the husband needs help. Finally, seek for help & advice from professional therapist if you can find any, don't rub it on his face, just get help on how you can handle the issue on your own until he decides to man up to talk about it. Sure it won't be easy, a man who needs help surely need love...Show him love..Be his mother. |
I have no reason to weep for his demise, it is said to live a purposeful & fulfilled life " find what you love & die for it". He found what he loved & died for it.. He died fullfiled , the heavens are are standing in loud ovation just as the earth is pouring out its consolation. May we find what we love and die for it, this is a dignified death and truth be said he has conquered death. My consolation is to those he left behind, don't stay too long in mourning but rise and face life with the courage, strength & audacity that our friend, Brother, Uncle, Husband exhumed till the last moment. I am sure that is all he needs from his loved ones at this time. I pronounce peace upon his family & every spirit of death lurking around them i chain & condemn to the deepest part of abyss. IJN. Amen. |
@OP na people like una dey destabilize other people marriage.. So you wise pass her Papa & Mama abi? My friend carry your over sabi park somewhere.. You can advice her to move in with you at least d guy can find peace in another woman's arm. Nonsense. You dey narrate d story like say u be eye witness, this na d side of your friend, you don call d husband ask am him own side? That is what you should do if you love your friend and not to pour fuel in a burning fire. Walahi people like you, your beating go be like say trailer jam u, so u learn how to mind your business. |
