Give him 1 small bone. Check his next 2 poops and if there are no issues, give him a bigger one tomorrow. Then you keep adding more.

My Vet did advice that i leave out the bones until Cooper is at least 6months. Like you mentioned the last attempt was suicidal.

Cooper has a certificate, the name of the breeder,the parents name,which you can Google and get all the details including the tattoo on his ear were all spelt out on the certificate,then the vaccination card is so unique with details of vaccination.

I spent some cool cash getting Cooper down and did my research.

Cooper is not a heavy eater who can finish a big bowl at a go,he takes his time to eat so i feed him at least 3 times a day now at 3 months but when he was brought in he had food by his side all the time because he was finding it difficult to adapt. Now he eats 3 times a day. I also noticed that Cooper will not eat in the morning except you engage him in exercise,he is a working dog who believes he must work for his food. So first thing in the morning is to exercise him and when he is tired i serve him food, same thing applies in the evening.

Pls make sure you remove the bones from the chicken before given him. The splinter could harm or even kill a dog if it pierces the throat or intestines. I never believed my vet until a few weeks back one of my dogs almost died cos pieces of bones got stuck in her throat, it took more than days to treat her... good work u doing there!

Thank you..I learnt that also very early,Cooper started passing out blood and i called the Vet who told me it was the bones in the chicken...Oooops! i did apologize to Cooper for trying to terminate his life,now i pick out the flesh only... Thank you for that great information.

This is chicken chest for Coopers dinner. The recipe is boiled chicken chest,K9 can food and Royal canine. The K9 can food will be used to mix the royal canine and then the boiled chicken will be added to it.

One thing that really baffles me with Nigerians is when subjects of this nature pops you see everyone claiming to be saints,if this was to be on a foreign forum you will see people coming out to post real issues how it happened in their homes,marriages, how if affected their children and how they were able to go through it thereby helping a lot of people who are in similar situations.

In relationship matters of this nature i don`t really comment since i don`t have the full facts but i am 100 & 1% sure that no man who is not a psychopath will murder his wife without provocation or underlying problems between them that has gone unresolved.

I will only advice the reporter to go to court and get a court order mandating the Commissioner of police to provide him and his family the needed protection and also investigate the claims of the reporter.

Cooper is doing fine and is going through his obedience class. We are on the sit command at the moment,hopefully will get some pics tomorrow since i will be spending time with him.

Training a dog not to step out of the gate without a leash saves the stress of exhibiting that "prodigal son" behaviour. This type of training is not even time consuming so claiming you don't have time is not an excuse because when it comes to training dogs, repetition means emphasis. Your dog shouldn't exit the door or gate before you, you have to be the first to step out and he'll follow. The maid left the gate opened for about two hours this morning but my dogs already know anywhere outside the gate is not their territory except they're on a leash going out for the usual walk. Devoting at least 5 minutes a day to let your dog know you're the Leader will save you the stress of any form of embarrassment. Sorry for the Long story... My 2 cents! Nice one Prodeegee

You are very correct especially with the bold... I have done it with all the dogs i trained and it worked perfectly well for me.
My little Cooper is also learning it right now besides once the gate is opened they know it is not their territory so they don`t attempt to run out.

Wait ooo! You have a CCTV and got no one to watch it for surveillance. So what is the essence of it? Ok let`s see how we can get the ladies.

Perhaps the reason Cooper soils his space is that it's too big. A dog is less likely to soil a small enclosure cos the smell would be too close.

You are right but Cooper has being nice for a few days,i created a back door for him where he can Poo and pee,spent a little time with him after his meal then took him to the corner,Cooper has followed the procedure.. I hope he does not deviate.

Taking care of Coopers space. Coopers space must be mopped every morning and kept dried for his comfort.

You are very very correct and sometimes i feel some guilt about it but i acquired the Caucasian as a rescue dog,she came down with jaundice and everyone gave up on her except the Vet. I love Pure breeds dogs and if i have my way will start a group working against backyard breeders with no knowledge of breeding.

The Caucasian is doing very well at 7 months and such a lovely dog. I treat him with much respect and love unfortunately i decided to give Cooper more ONLINE attention to draw awareness to pure breed dogs. Ok with no intention to derail the thread i will post few of her pictures if others following this thread will approve of it. Thank you.

@kolokolobi All what Cooper needs now is a radio set that will be playing when no one is around... Then good toys,unfortunately all the dog toys i see around are of very low quality especially the toy bones i bought for him. Hope i can get recommendation on where to buy good and quality dog toys.
