CelebritiesRe: Rihanna Is Broke! by DeepZone(op): 12:45am On Aug 28, 2008
I don't believe this story. All the money she made from her Good Girl Gone Bad album is gone? Her shows? Her Volume 2 album?
I definately don't believe.
Yep; Just like Jackson's, Tyson's, Holyfield's, Mc hammer's etc money went down the drain only that it seems the plague is following only black people. Money do not come from album sales et al; Endorsements and tours are their major source of income. You care to know why Celine Dion lived 5 years in las Vegas(bellagio) instead of working on a strict album? You saw her album during that Casino contract never banged like others simply for lack of publicity and hard work.
CelebritiesRe: Nollywood’s Sexiest: Genevieve, Ini Or Mercy? by DeepZone(op): 12:40am On Aug 28, 2008
I'D go for Genny because although Mercy has got the shape she is quite local.
Why did you call her a local girl? And they were not even asking for who is local or hip. I think she's the prettiest and sexiest among the trio.

IslamRe: Can A Muslim Work In A Brewery Or Tobacco Factory by DeepZone: 12:34am On Aug 28, 2008
Intoxicants----alcohol etc, sorry the term burantashi is new to me , but yes if it can cause you harm then it is haram.
Burantashi is a local aphrodisiac sold by moslem hausas. It seems that islam accepted it because that is their chewing stick in sharia states for the purposes of straight and gay sex. You wonder why many Nigerian moslems are gay?
Christianity EtcRe: Can A Christian Work At A Brewery? by DeepZone(op): 12:29am On Aug 28, 2008
Jesus turned water into wine! that should answer the highlighted question.
That was in a wedding and not a brewery. If you ask someone , Can Jesus work in a brothel and he tells you that Jesus forgave mary magdalene who was a harlot and challenged her people to cast stones on her if they've committed no sin, will you consider that as a probable answer?

PoliticsRe: North-East Tops Corruption List: Says ICPC by DeepZone(op): 12:21am On Aug 28, 2008
@DEEPZONE So deep is your thirst for hatred against the North that you did not see the bolded area above. The article did not in any way rate the north east as the most corrupt zone but made specific insight as the zone with the highest complaints on his desk. This goes to show the level at which the masses are fighting corruption by reporting such incidence.
Thank God you said i have a thirst for hatred towards northers but not that I hate them actually. Intention to commit a crime is different from committing the crime itself.

Why won't she be worried? She's high maintenance and cannot walk the street freely like you and me unless she moves to Saudi Arabia, Brunei or Ethiopia. I wonder what she was doing when her money remained about $300K?

Omo

Money is the key to Happiness o!!
Paparazzi is just a minor inconvineince O! A little sacrifice that I am willing to make for wealth.
Ask for the red light district matter, Have you ever heard of disguise or even exclusive service??
Money is a very wrong combination to the entrance to happiness. It can make you a little cormfortable but not happy, You are saying so now because you are wallowing in poverty but just hold tight, e go better very very soon.

In Nigeria I will say that this decision to be affliated with someone famous could cost you your life. I have read so many reports of attack on Nollywood actors and actresses, singers and such, by police and armed robbers.

But in the worldly sense, I wouldn't mind if he earned his fame, like through something academically related, but not if he earned from just being at all the parties.

I wouldn't mind too much either if he was just the son of. . .
It wasn't his fault that he was thrust into the limelight and with clever strategies he can still keep his private life private.
Do you know that you are better off marrying a famous person in Nigeria than in the west? Nothing equates to liberty in life. The other day, they showed Will Smith's undies because he bent down to remove his shoes at the airport, Brooke's boobs bared yesterday, Jennifer Aniston cannot start a quiet date. Brad Pitt is probably tired of Jolie(who knows) but he ain't stepping an inch, It goes on and on and on.

Cash Rules. . . . . . .
With money, one can handle paparazzi, private eyez and gossip mongers.
I will marry a famous woman 50,000 times over
Did you consider the fact that marrying a famous person will stop you from visiting the red light district? I wonder how you can handle that? tongue tongue tongue tongue

At the rate at which the paparazzi makes life a living hell for famous people, one may ask if it's worth it being famous and whether it's worth it falling in love with one to the point of walking down the aisle with him/her.

Consider your freedom which is invaluable, your privacy etc will all be jeopardized by hooking up with a famous person. So, I ask again, can you marry a famous person without being afraid of being stalked by the paparazzi and his/her fans?

Rihanna reportedly fired her business manager after discovering she only has $20,000 left in her bank account.

Patricia Williams claims she was recently “let go” after Rihanna accused her of stealing after discovering her pop fortune has all but disappeared.

Williams said: "It’s not my fault that she only has $20,000 to her name. I have worked for many high-profile actors, musicians and multi-million dollar corporations. Why would I steal from Rihanna?

“I showed her all the paperwork and tried to explain to her the circumstances but she wouldn’t listen. She called me all sorts of horrible names and stormed off.

“I now feel compelled to share with the world the background story as I will not allow my name to be slandered.”

Rihanna’s recent album ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ has sold an estimated five million copies worldwide and she has toured extensively across the US and Europe this year.

Williams claims the 20-year-old singer’s record label Def Jam and her manger Marc Jordan are to blame for her financial problems.

She is quoted by website blackarazzi.com as saying: “Def Jam doesn’t fund Rihanna properly, so Marc uses the money Rihanna makes from third-party endorsements and from tours to fund her album and music videos.

“I don’t want to disrespect Marc’s name. He is a fantastic manager and genuinely believes in Rihanna. But he uses her money to fund her future projects because he believes he can break her in the world-market. Her album sales are not nearly as close to her single sales and he knows that if she is only known as a ‘singles artist’ she will only be as good as her last hit. Unfortunately, he didn’t inform his client and I’m receiving the brunt of it.”
