The EFCC was able to do that only after the former Attorney General, Michael Aodoakaa was eased out of his position when GEJ took over. It was Aondoakaa, and by extension Yar'Adua who was stalling the cooperation of the EFCC with the London Met Police. It was that same evidence that the EFCC presented before Justice Marcel Awokulehin.

Mind you, Awokulehin quashed 170 charges! A whole 170 counts of criminality Ibori was charged in the UK with only about 10 of those charges and convicted.
