If Nigeria government were smart, banning was never a smart thing to do. Westerners hate that language especially their own products.

Looking at international politics, I think you are right. My fear is that it will be a free fall, both USA and her allies will sell weapons to the Southern Nigeria while China and Russia and other allies will back Nigeria.

USA already sees the influence of China in Africa growing and will do anything to curtail it. Since, Africans are dispensable, the two parties won't care if war breaks out.
