These people soon get tired of waiting for help that they feel is never gonna come and decide to take matters into their own hands the leaders suddenly show interests in the lives of people. See I have counselled a few young people ike that. They lost friends and did not even know how to relate to new friends.

Then they get something doing , esp a paid job no matter how small. After a while, They themselves even forget about friends. Now their old friends are trying to rekindle the friendship but they honestly don't have time to spend on rebuilding friendships again. They made new aquintances, they enjoy having and spending time with new people but they do not desire to become soo close to anyone so quickly because they worry that they may not have the time to invest into tight friendship.

It is good to have friends but do not trade your peace of mind for someone else. Make friends on a neutral ground

I have very few friends. most of them are from my childhood and school. I seem to be losing them. One gets a girlfriend and stops communicating. The other moves away and stops communicating. The other is willing to play video games, but not much else (I generally stopped playing them, but didn't think I would lose a friend over it).

I must be the one to start communication, to invite the other to hang out, they never initiate conversation. They generally say they'll let me know but never get back to me, or ignore me. It seems, unfortunately, that I value the friendship more than they do. In person, when we do hang out, we have a great time, but otherwise, it's like I don't exist. The frequency of hanging out is getting longer and longer for all of them (7 months, 14 months).

As an introvert, this is so sad especially when someone you think is a good friend don't value your friendship at all ( my female friends are even worst). Am i the only one experiencing this?

It's a sad thing.Nigeria is a failed state but the biggest failure is that her people love their condition. If a good person rises up to say NO it is fellow Nigerians that would remind you that you are not perfect and the devil they know is better than a million good angels knocking to help them.
