I visited Calabar some years ago...I think during Donald Dukes time as Governor. It was a beautiful and clean town with souch greenery.

El Rufai should face up to his issues. If he's innocent, he'll come out clean. We really don't need this distraction. There are so many other important issues that affects the lives of the majority for us to deal with at this point in time.

The elites can resolve their problems without giving us additional headaches.

I hope they are well aware of a particular place in Borno called Sambissa Forest. For over 17 years, this forest has been a hideout of Islamic terrorists but Nigerian military has failed to penetrate and overpower them.

.. keeping my fingers crossed, as I look forward to see the American wonder. 🤥
Our soldiers are already gaining control in the Sambisa forest. There are videos online about that.

Pacesetter123:
But the FG didn't wait for the senators and governors in those areas to move any motion or something before it opens the borders there.
So,why should it take our governors and senators to draw the attention of the FG to it before they do it here for us too?
Anyway, your message is well understood my dear sister.Since the FG has done it there in the north, our senators and governors should use that as a yardstick to demand for the same thing to be done here too.
You are correct.
I'm aware that a lot goes on behind closed doors in politics. Those who lobby privately may not tell us. They're focused on achieving their goals quietly to avoid raising eyebrows or contentious situations. Let the SE and SS demand for the same thing.

Remember that some borders in the SW were closed for a while under Buhari. They were later opened.

why's Adeleke approaching the court to stop UBA from disbursing the Lg funds to the people in the grassroots? Adeleke's wicked in his act.
I don't understand. Is the money to be shared for the people at the grassroots or to be used for impactful projects?

I've attended a wedding without bridesmaids. Just the couple, Chief Bridesmaid and Bestman danced. They later danced with cousins and other family members. It was still fun filled.

Good to know. How about all the other names of activists tagged to El Rufai? Also Southern Kaduna people including the Kajuru case and Adara kingdom?

Who confessed to bringing in terrorists and giving them money to leave? Sadly they're still here tormenting our people.

More information will clarify things and guide us better to take the right decisions during elections.

Culture › Re: Oba Kadir Adebara of Jebba: Kwara Oba Who Refused To Bow To The Emir by delpee(f): 5:23pm On Feb 13
Old Oyo (Oyo Ile) was close to Jebba which was part of the old Oyo empire. When OPC was active, they operated along the roads up to Jebba. Yoruba is the local language there.

I pray that God continues to provide for him and keep him safe.

Well, Joke Silva said she's an adopted child. She turned out well and has always appreciated the family that gave her a name and the opportunity to be who she is today.

I know people who have adopted kids who are truly grateful and successful. Just as not every biological child will turn out well, so it is with adopted children.

From the NNPC MDs analysis, it's a pipeline of waste and corruption. Public servants don't manage assets well enough to generate profits.

That's why OBJ wanted to dispose most of the assets.

The doctor is probably looking at it from the perspective of bringing another dwarf into the world and the consequences for the child in this Internet era where she can be bullied and made to feel worthless. Something like the AS marrying AS and the attendant risks.

However, you give advice when sought in this type of situation. It's strictly their choice.

Seyi should not use Oyo money for Atiku politics like Okowa did o.

I'm wondering why he would want to be 2IC to a Northerner when we want a Southern President. It's like PO has seen that Atiku will insist on being the Presidential candidate, so he seems to have moved on.

Na wa! She should have considered the requirements for that post to see if she fits in first. That's inclusive of political considerations. Strange that someone will pay that much to get a job. It's more than enough money to invest in businesses that will generate so much more.
Politics › Re: Over 2,000 Stranded Trucks Move As Nigeria Reopens Benin, Niger Borders by delpee(f): 9:58am On Feb 10
Pacesetter123:
So, the FG can open the Int'l borders in the North and West for businesses while the borders in the South are closed permanently for businesses since in the days of Buhari till date?
The Southern borders with Cameroun and Malabo can be closed forever to block trans-Atlantic trade to stifle economic activities of the area but the ones in the West with Benin and the ones in the North with Niger can be opened to promote trans-sahara trade to boost economic activities of the area.
Una do well..ooo.
Mmekam mkpa ishi!!!!!
That's something for your Governors and reps to look into and ensure that the FG approves it. Akpabio is from that side. Perhaps the SE and SS people need to remind him and others of their responsibilities.

I am also missing some things because some of this marketer sell cheaper that Dangote MRS

In my area MRS is 839 while MATRIX sell at 835 even one station sell at 830 that 9 naira diff and Dangote refinery is just a few drive away less than 2 hours

I don’t understand how a local production can be more expensive than imported fuel
You should also consider the fuel quality.

Grey hair before 40 is nothing new. I started having grey hair in my 30s.

He may even have dyed his hair for a purpose.
