9 SpencerForbes: Honestly, it feels like most people dragging Nigerian churches haven't actually experienced the good ones. I have to give credit where it's due—back when I was a regular at RCCG, they were consistent with sharing hamper with food items, and Christ Embassy does the same. Many churches even distributed bags of rice and other food items this Christmas. Just because your local branch didn’t show up for you doesn't mean others aren't doing the work. You're right. I attend an Anglican Church here in Nigeria. We give out food items regularly. This Christmas, we gave out food packs as usual. Members also give out clothes, pay hospital bills of indigent people, operate a free clinic, visit the prison and help the prisoners in relevant ways plus care for stranded kids and the elderly. |

Ijebu Ode will not enthrone his kind of person as a king. There are so many better qualified people that he can't measure up to. Money can't easily buy this type of honour in certain places. Besides, it's not the turn of the royal house that was earlier claimed he belongs to.
But then, lawyer must chop. |

Natasha has done so well for her people. Not because of the rice but in terms of significant and meaningful impact on their lives. She has given out useful empowerment tools to artisans/traders including keke drivers, laptops to students and drones/equipment to institutions. She tries to focus on her people's needs and she satisfies them. She built schools, provided water, streetlight and hospital equipment plus other infrastructure like markets and housing.
I wish all Senators and Reps can do at least half of what she does. The economic impact on the rural communities will be wonderful.
Meanwhile, how is the LP Representative for Lekki performing? We hoped that LP office holders would be different but like the others, I'm yet to hear of his impact in the area. |

MRS Ahmadu Bello Way, VI indicates 739 as the selling price but I paid 43k plus to fill my tank from quarter tank. It seemed to suddenly jump from 32k to that with some manipulation by the attendant.
By my calculation, it means I bought about 60 litres into a tank that was a quarter full. That is ridiculous! People should try to do a simple calculation to be sure they're not being scammed.
Fuel station managers should also make sure that their POS functions well. All those "It doesn't select" , " no network" tales creates opportunities for transfers to personal accounts. |

Not to mention the suspicion and queer looks sometimes when we present our green passports at foreign airports. Or the step aside for random check issues all because of our greedy brothers and sisters.
Add to that the fraudsters and scammers. May God touch their hardened hearts. May we all learn to stop idolizing and honouring criminals who are wealthy. |

This is most disheartening! Many private hospitals are glorified clinics. They don’t really have the specialists required for complex situations. It's so sad. May God comfort her husband and family as her soul rests in peace.
Oftentimes, LASG Mother and Child hospitals and other public hospitals are far better than many private hospitals. |

deji17: This is serious o. The sack might have solved one problem, but what about the fears of many about Dangote refinery monopoly? Many sighted the Cement industry. Again, some argues that others could set up refineries. But then, setting up a refinery is very capital intensive and with how big the Dangote refinery is and with so much cash at his disposal, how easy would it be for a new refinery to compete with him? There are other refineries...just that they produce on a lower scale. It isn't his fault that NNPC that should compete effectively with DR has been blowing money on TAM without any meaningful results. |

This Ewedu and amala that they eat was actually copied from Ghana.
