Very good! He may end up with a fine and community service sha.

People won't comply with basic rules of sanitation, yet, they turn round to call out the governor, commissioner, LAWMA et al.

I hope that more people are caught and dealt with to serve as deterrent to others.

Family › Re: My Wife's Job Is A Threat To Our Marriage. by delpee(f): 5:07pm On May 22, 2025
apprentist:
Hello Guys, let me first of all say the cliché "It is well".

Now let we start.
I met my wife years back just before the COVID-19 year during which we dated for almost a year and then eventually got married just when the lock down was reducing. I started this story this way because I wanted to emphasis that during that period, we had so much time to bond and she was mostly available to me as she only worked on shifts 2 to 3 days per week.
We could sit and talk for long, go out at late nights and have great s*x as frequently as we needed.

This I think gave me a mirage of an anticipated marriage life so I didn't hesitate to take it a step further ones the lockdown was relaxed.
I also made it clear to her that her job would have to give way when their kids start coming as I had plans to assist her further her edu and also put up a biz for her.

Speed up to after COVID-19, she resumed work which till this day demands 5 days a week and 2 to 3 Saturdays per month all from 7:45am till 5pm. Often times she'd return home tired and would manage to make dinner and off to bed till the next day circle continues.
It became worse when we started having children. I drive them to school as early as 7:40am before dropping her off at her job. And then I'll pick them up by 5:30pm or 6pm when she's done with her job for the day (let me mention that this extends to public holidays and school holidays or breaks).

I got tired and in December 2025 I told her she has to quit the job. My plan was to enroll her back into a private school after my kids are Upto 4 years as one of them still depends on breast milk. I also gave her the option of starting a business which I understand is a dynamic move and might not be successful, but at this stage of my life it's something I could afford to risk and so I didn't mind.

I must also mention that out of a 100% sex, 50% is not mutual as I could sense she isn't interested and 40% is a denial as she would rather deny me of s*x with the excuse that she is tired.

Simply put, I'm tired.
I'm a Christian and divorce isn't an option. Also I can't cheat, but I am starved of s*x and my kids are not given the attention they deserve.
Pls advice me
Please talk to her. You mean well. God bless you for your sincerity of purpose and your understanding. I believe she's also bothered but probably feels that she needs the job for financial stability.

Let her consider options that can solve the problem by herself. She knows best what works for her. I once had to take a lower grade job (though the pay wasn't so different) to create time for my children. That means you have to support her more financially if she toes that path. Not everyone is good at business management though training may make a difference.

Also consider getting someone to help her with household chores which can be extremely stressful and tiring for a working mother. It doesn't have to be a live in helper.

How did an aim for the tyre end up killing a seated passenger? The father claimed (TVC news) that he was asked to turn his car around to have access to the vulcanisers machine. He needed to work on his tyre. Still, he could have been more careful. Running away shouldn't have been an option.
Very sad indeed.

Don't say what you don't know to drive your bigotry. Tayo showed up after their money and fame. She was not in the picture during their struggle days. Not that I'm against Peter marrying her, it's his choice and he loves her but don't say Tayo supported them!
According to Peter, she was there for them when they were struggling.

Anyway, that's no reason why Jude should give his wife 80% share of their joint business if that is true. Every business manager should be transparent and accountable to ALL shareholders. Jude seems not to have done things right. I wish they can find an amicable way to resolve this issue.

Politics › Re: Fulani Militia Told Me They're On Mission To Wipe Out Tiv People - Victim by delpee(f): 9:55pm On May 17, 2025
Dogalmighty17:
Ultimately, the Fulani in Nigeria want to relocate as many Fulani from Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Senegal, Guinea and Cameroon as they can to settle in Nigeria. They have identified the states of Plateau, Benue, Kogi and Enugu as viable locations for resettlement of their kin from other countries.

They conceived this plan over 25 years ago when it became obvious that global warming and climate change were inevitable. As desert encroachment was becoming more widespread and water sources they had relied on to feed their cattle started drying up, the came up with this plan. They knew that the areas they currently occupy would become dryer and will not be able to sustain them and their cattle rearing ways going forward.

For example, over the years, lake Chad has lost over 2/3 of its size by volume. It is a very alarming thing to witness. The lake Chad was a major source of water for the 4 countries that border it. This is water the Fulani depended on to feed cattle.

Instead of adopting practices like ranching which has been proven to be better for cattle, the Fulani have sworn to remain roaming pastoralists and have viewed the states in the middle belt of Nigeria and certain parts of Enugu state as viable locations for resettling their people.

As much as 64 indigenous communities in Plateau state had their populations sacked and those communities renamed by the Fulani. The Fulani and their cattle have moved in. They've been there for over 5 years now. So this is already happening before our very eyes.

It will not be out of place to say Nigeria's security architecture has been compromised or rendered ineffective by design. Not that it would have mattered in anyway. Ever patient, the Fulani game out every scenario so as to stay a step ahead of security agencies.

State governments need to stop being cowards. If former governor Amosun could find ways to import over 3000 rifles to arm his people, then no governor has an excuse.
I don't understand why the Plateau government can't resettle the indigenes on their land. That's so unfair and disheartening. It's totally destabilising since that leaves them with no farmland. What do they then do?

Do you want people study Arabic in University to learn CRS in secondary school or what
It was stated that the certificate should be allowed for entry into schools of nursing. Is that really okay?

I was impressed by one of his projects which involved training quite a number of people on shoe making and setting them up.

What do we expect when we have students in secondary school who can't write or read properly? Same students are promoted automatically so they learn not to bother. No competitive spirit, no drive to do better. They'll rather be active doing various things other than school matters on Tiktok and other SM platforms.

Parents make it worse by arranging expo and exam support for their children. Money that should have gone into tutorials/lesson to help them improve on their understanding and subsequently score better. Some centre operators teachers/invigilators are happy to collude for a price. May the Lord guide our youth more.

The various levels of government and education agencies also need to do better in terms of infrastructure and adequate facilities for learning.

I have bought a plot at Ibeju Lekki called Oakwood Park since 2014. When they sold it, there was a road there that clearly showed the plot they wanted to sell.

Once they finish selling the estate, they leave it to become a jungle and continue to claim the land exists somewhere in the jungle. This is the same modus operandi for all their estates in Ibeju Lekki (and probably other places). No one is able to take custody and develop the land they allegedly own and claim to have sold.

They refuse to buy the land back, even at cost, or resell it to someone else. Instead, they continue selling new "estates" and now even promise to double people's cash in real estate investment.
Exactly!

If the Nigerian vehicles are 'not up to standards..', is the government itself up to standard.

Now if the government tells us to bear with their inadequacies, why can't they bear with the inadequacies of 'made in Nigeria'.

Last week in Abuja I saw on the streets a late model Mercedes G wagon with the insignia of an army two star general. How come.
Was this issued to him as an official vehicle or he bought it for himself and branded it after the military.

These are the issues facing Nigerians. Reforms start at the very top, the very top.
Hmmm! Yet our soldiers are poorly equipped.

Anyway, FCT oga is now riding a Rolls Royce. One wonders if it's a government funded official car.
Politics › Re: "Nigeria First": Trade Your Escalade For Innoson Motors - Atiku Tells Tinubu by delpee(f): 8:31am On May 07, 2025
Years ago, OBJ having adopted a "low profile" policy settled for a made in Nigeria Peugeot 504 saloon as his official car. He encouraged civil servants to take to farming in their spare time and went ahead to build a his own farm. That's living by example.

Of course, like everyone else he has his faults.

Why not also follow up on what Dr Ganduje tried to do in Kano by making it bigger and building more in the core Northern States? He built a settlement for herders. I think it was in Falgore forest.

Why is there so much focus on Plateau and Benue which are in the middle belt?
