NAFDAC needs more staff to help us rid this nation of fake drugs and food. Apart from fake pharmacies, some of the supermarkets are full of expired but revalidated food items. I hope Federal EXCO will urgently look into this.

We need stronger laws on the issue of kidnapping.

Is it just me? I hate these dangerous tribal sentiments being whipped up on virtually every important topic/issue on this platform. Without any relevance to the topic you start reading the nauseating “..Igbo this…”, “Yoruba that…”. How much do these guys get paid to continuously fan this flame of gross hatred and bigotry? How can Nigeria ever progress at this rate? We should at least have thumbs down buttons for people and comments like that (since the mods seem to either be encouraging these nonsense or simply have no idea how to control this dangerous trend). Very irritating indeed. Probably we have a new generation of those who never experienced unity of purpose in Nigeria. The idea of having unity schools was to bring people of different tribes, status and religion together to live and grow harmoniously. It worked then. Now every conversation flows with tribal sentiments. So immature and unhelpful in today's world.

The book is nauseating for those of us who queued up to vote on June 12, 1993, while hoping for a democratic change, freedom from our military oppressors, and true progress for the nation. I understand what Atedo Peterside is saying perfectly.

Peter Obi didn't condemn NAFDAC's efforts; rather, he is condemning the entire closure of the market because other genuine businesses in the same market are affected by the full closure.

Sadly, according to Dr Soludo, they found fake drugs in the Plumbing section of the market too. They're trying to make a clean sweep...as much as possible.
