Anyway, it won't land anywhere on earth by God's grace. Scientists are now saying there's a very low chance of that happening. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: US To Shut Joburg Consulate If Street Is Named After Palestinian Freedom Fighter by delpee(f): 10:51pm On Mar 15, 2025 |
RandDigital: Most of the world believes in a 2 state solution, including SA. Those who believe in 'Israel takes all approach' are the evil ones who believe in domination and violence - the bloodthirsty rednecks in the White House included. Palestinians don't believe in a 2 state solution. They've had opportunities to do that. They declined. Yasser Arafat first agreed and then backed out. What they really want is to take over Israel. Unfortunately, that's a hard nut to crack. |

El Rufai couldn't fully deliver Kaduna in 2023. The votes for PDP and LP outweighed APC votes. Amaechi doesn't seem to have a huge impact on Rivers politics right now. Miracles happen though. |

There was a news report stating that the assembly members said they didn't inform Sanwoolu about their plan so he won't inform BAT. How come he now takes the blame?
Besides, BAT should have considered that the majority of members prefer Meranda. It seems that Meranda will be a better speaker if allowed. Her first action saved us some money. One wonders how deep the rot is. |

Politics › Re: Islam Does Not Mandate Closure Of Schools During Fasting – Minister by delpee(f): 8:19pm On Mar 11, 2025 |
Plus4you: The closure of school during Ramadan in some state in Northern Part, does not necessarily implies that the whole 4 or 5 weeks holiday in the month of Ramadan were totally deleted from the normal 13 weeks of school activities. Instead it was paused at a specific week, which will resume as the Ramadan fasting is completed. So we shouldn't confuse this pause as a total lost of 5 weeks of school activities. The problem is that the 5 weeks pause has a negative impact on those preparing for national examinations especially. This is the time to prepare for JAMB, WASC, NECO etc. |
Family › Re: Wife Beats Husband While Daughter Films And Agrees He’s At Fault by delpee(f): 8:51pm On Mar 10, 2025 |
The man should read Proverbs 25:24. He needs to move out before his wife and daughter eliminates him. Very sad that a so called mother is bringing up her daughter this way. Same for men who beat their wives. Their sons learn from them.
The man should report to the Domestic Violence office. This video evidence is sufficient. |

If he has stored food in warehouses hoping to torment us with high prices later, it serves him right. People are hungry and angry because of outrageous prices. If imports will make a difference for now, so be it. Hopefully, other interventions in the agricultural sector will bring about bountiful harvests which will automatically bring down prices without the need for importation. |

I saw a bag of Eko Rice with someone and asked where I could get it to buy. She said it was a gift so she had no idea.
Why can't they sell it in some places like it was done before? Hopefully, we'll get to buy it from the planned market hubs when they become more active. As long as only distributors get to buy directly, it will be scarce and expensive. |

Zionmdde: I thought BUA promised us something, what's happening then? Cement made with limestone mined in kogi and edo state shouldn't in any way be as costly as it is.
Looking at the kind of profits BUA and Dangote are declaring goes a long to show that they are selling cement way higher than it should be sold BUA reduced the price substantially at a time. From some reports at that time, the major distributors and middle men were the ones making the gains. They didn't sell at the recommended retail price so the benefit was withdrawn. |
