I wonder why people are surprised at how things are unfolding in this country. Nigeria for now is just a theatre where the masterfully written and orchestrated script of the Ota farmer is playing out by the day. Someone in this forum once mentioned that the day Obj made a comment concerning the logjam Yar'Adua's absence has caused in the polity was the day the matter settled itself. No doubt. During the presidential campaigns in 2007, I also heard from a good number of folks that Obj wants a South-South man in the presidency to placate them, it has turned out to be true, it's just that it took longer than the timeline he set. What a country. Why is our fate in the hands of just a few? Who else in this nation calls more shots than Obj the principality? |
Technology: Built for the kill. America should beware of Russia and China. Iran might just be the fuse that'll trigger the armageddon. |
@Poster: Was his attitude the same before you married him or while you dated him? If you knew as much and decided to take the plunge, be patient and work him into what you'd love him to become if you can. You said he's servicing some loans, now that means he must have procurred some facilities which of course you are enjoying. People are always fired up when servicing loans so they don't get foreclosed. You should understand and support him morally and financially. Make your communication very good, always talk issues over. Goodluck. |
Be ready for them couples. Lol |
I want the NASS to proceed with impeachment plans so as to make themselves blameless. As it stands now, Goodluck would just be standing on one foot as any competent lawsuit can nullify his position. Mallam Yar'Adua should simply be impeached for gross misconduct without mincing words. Period. |
Sweet. Nigerians never cease to impress me with their creativity. We're a blessed people. I know God is so much interested in Nigeria, that's why it still exists as an entity. God bless Nigeria. |
@theface200: u don't make any sense at all. What has d post got to do with tribe? I think people like u should be packed into a chamber and gased with chlorine. Whaaat?! |
Can one exfoliate one's skin by oneself. How? With what? |
June 12? Dat date smacks of disaster and evil. |
I love the 'arrested' part the most. He should be in shackles too. |
Please people, what are 'special duties'? Does dat still not make relevant? When u sack someone, he should pack gabadaya! |
Haha! I actually moved motion for his sack at d FEC meeting today, Rotimi Amaechi seconded me. One down, more to go. |
@Chaircover: Is it not how happy and mutual your relationship has been that'll prompt a guy to fix u a ring? I wonder o! |
@g1: Leave evolution out of this, unless I understand what u didn't imply. Death is the end of all things, we know, tho not all will die as d bible recorded b4 christ returns. I'm talking about destiny as it relates to what happens to a person while he yet lives. Are our lives programmed to follow an unavoidable path or pattern? |
g1: wat do u mean by 'evolved species'? |
@POSTER: Considering d so much love u profess that u had or still have 4 ur husband, would u hav married him if u knew beforehand that he has a lovechild? If yes, accept d innocent child. Period. What can u undo now? |
ROTFLMAO! What a balance! D evil dat men do, |
Until humans can turn back the hand of time and reverse things, we can only accept our past and choose not to allow them mar our future or draw our strength from the past and perish. Made meaning out of my proverb? |
@PASTOR: I wouldn't be talking about determinism, I know what I'm distressed about when I ask about the reality of a destiny. Was Jesus destined to save mankind thru the manner of death He died and the level of humiliation He was put thru? Was it the destiny of Judas to have betrayed his master? Would it be fair for him to be damned if he was destined to? Maybe someone can help explain this thing to me. |
@POST: Sack Aondoakaa! |
My brothers and sisters, if there's destiny as your analogies have put it, then there shouldn't be any basis for judgement on the so called last day since there's already a blueprint for our lives, no matter how hard we try, it'd still play out the way it had been planned. Too bad. |
@THE AMAKA: is it only in d nite people lose their virginity? Lol! @Poster: use ur brain. |
I like how you refuted Paddy's claims. I once said in this forum that democracy is non.sense if dat is wat we practise in Nigeria and some hawks shot down my point like Dora's. Let's c how it turns out. I'm optimistic tho. |
That has always been d case. |
Aondoakaa should be sacked, prosecuted and jailed for all his libelous and thoughtless remarks so far. His cup is full and now spills over. Corruption incarnate! |
Savagery by the Nigerian police! I saw this clip on Aljazeera yesterday and was shocked to my bones. Did you see those three kids? Could they have been liable or legally responsible in anyway? I don't care what religious leanings they may have had or the offence they purportedly committed, it's senseless murder. What about the two disabled men with crutches? I weep for Nigeria. International human rights groups must wade into this. It's painful. |
What be this? Ify's thought sounds so cynical, u don't think better meanings could be read into a woman's goodness at all? |
Now d kitchen cabinet is imploding. Time will tell. |
Wat happens all d time? |
