Hmm! They should divide the country. PDP is a shame. |
@POST: To me, that is neo-colonialism. We can do it ourselves, they failed too in the whole security and systemic lapse or I should laxity. |
@Markenny: For free huh? That's why she'll want to divorce u at d slightest provocation. |
I think democracy in Nigeria is more of make-believe than what the authors intended it to be. By the people? How? What do the house of reps members do with their constituency allocations? It's a scam anyhow u see it. |
To me democracy is just another scam, maybe in Nigeria. |
@Kobojunkie: I've been so traumatized by all I've seen, read and heard, that's why I wrote. That's where I got it. What has democracy not cost us in just the few years we've run it? |
I would say it is expensive due to the time(Nigeria as a typology) and money it costs. Going by the lies, anarchy, shortchanging and all the impropriety going on in Nigeria where an unfit leader wouldn't relinquish power to the fit, I think an alternative would have been better. How can we be paying all the parliamentarians all that amount they made us to understand they receive as stipends and allowances while they do practically nothing besides power tussle? Can't there be a system less sluggish and cheaper? |
Talking from experience, divorce would be the last option on my mind. It makes wrecks out of d kids if they allow d trauma to bear down on them. No situation is irredeemable. Imo. |
@tpia: great point! |
When the center can no longer hold, when love and patience seem to have whittled completely out, when even the kids watch with utmost horror the yelling and hate going on in the house, when you've sought all manner of counseling and no change happens, when the differences appear irreconcilable, would divorce be your last option? Is there anything good at all about divorce? |
CarlosVent:What do you mean? Have you ever attended a funeral in Rivers state? You cant be serious jor. Get ur facts right. |
@Poster: Do u mean dat he breaks out of speech when he's speakin or dat he has speech defects? I think u r just being finicky, u can't hav it all in a relationship. How come u couldn't sustain at least one of d relationships? If u get someone dat has it all physically and cheats, u sure would complain. I hate complaints. Make do with him or clean up his speech skills, yea, it's possible. |
Mmiri na-ama odibo, o na-ama onye kpo ya. Meaning: If rain dey beat slave, e go dey beat im master wey follow am. |
kulyie: looooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
dogzymallo:You have a point there! |
Why do some people have to lavish a fortune burying their dead? They go ahead building new houses, refurbishing old ones, doing aso ebi and all the expensive stuff you can imagine. Some people go as far as selling properties just to give a 'befitting' burial as they would call it. What's the sense in it when the survivors live worse off after burying their deceased loved ones? ![]() |
@NordicRACE: Shut up if u r not African and don't understand! We place high premium on our beautiful daughters, that's why we pay bride(pride, if u like) price for them. Whatever is worth paying for is worth being treasured. I just wanna know how much is too much. |
Obama is a real man, he doesn't fake it! Imagine. |
Just take a look at this, I'm not justifyin dis friggin problem, but evry guy seems to need help. check out Obama and d guy on his wedding day cupping another lady's bum bum. ![]() ![]()

I seriously do not attach any credibility to this news, it sounds cooked to me. It'd have been in the airwaves. Abeg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
BATISNAIJA:I'll call u as soon as I get back home. k? thanks |
@WhyAWhy: can u be truthful 4 once? U 2 do. |
Sounds good and well composed. But this same guy has corruption issues to answer down here in Nigeria, where's he writing from? Although America may have been hasty in their tagging of Nigeria as a nation to look out for, I think they want to get some crazy stuff cleaned out. Umar Farouk was just following in d steps of extremist people like El-Rufai. Like begets like. |
@Spyker: Really? Stop livin in denial. U hav ur impulses too. Y'all do. |
I've always tried to understand why a man cannot make do with one woman. Each time he sees a beautiful or shapely chic, he'll gawk at her, drool and even sometimes UnCloth and f^ck the chic in his wild imagination even when he's with another woman by his side. I then taught about the fact that we were given over a billion s.pe.rm cells and were told to go ahead and multiply, lol. Could this be why? ROFLMAO! |
Well, I wish it was George Bush, he'd hav long been biting the nail in Guantanamo Bay prison without parole or whatever. Let justice be done and let it serve notice to other half-wits like him. |
Men of God are not supposed to make predictions, it's more like getting a reading with Tarot card and the like. They should prophesy in the light of d gospel, which is good news. We're not called to operate by fear, but faith! If should speak positively because God honors the word of His servants. These things shall not happen in Jesus name. Amen. |
Kitlady: wat do u mean? If u c me, u'd do anything just 2 catch my attention. Imao. |

A United States grand jury, on Wednesday, filed a six-count charge against Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab for attempting to bomb a US-bound airline on Christmas Day. Mr. Mutallab is accused of “attempted murder and attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction” on the plane, according to the AFP. A federal grand jury in Detroit indicted the 23-year-old Nigerian of “boarding Northwest Flight 253 ‘carrying a concealed bomb’ inside his clothing”, court documents showed. “The weapon of mass destruction charge carries a sentence of up to life in prison in the US.” Other charges against him include attempted murder of 289 passengers on board the plane; attempted murder within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States, willful attempt to destroy and wreck an aircraft within the special aircraft jurisdiction of the United States, willfully placing a destructive device on an aircraft and two counts possession of a destructive device in furtherance of a crime of violence. According to the charge sheet “the bomb consisted of a device containing Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate (PETN), Triacetone Triperoxide (TATP) and other ingredients.” “The bomb was designed to allow defendant Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab to detonate it at a time of his choosing and to thereby cause an explosion aboard Flight 253” it added. He was arrested on Christmas day when the device stitched inside his underwear failed to detonate and he was overpowered by passengers and crew on board. Mr. Abdulmutallab is currently being held at a federal prison in Michigan while he awaits trial, which will commence on Friday “in a Michigan court to face the indictment brought by the jury”. http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5508152-146/story.csp
