Well he couldn't do otherwise; 15 years in government is too long.

PoliticsRe: General Malu Regrets Not Overthrowing Obasanjo by demmy(m): 5:16pm On Feb 04, 2006
Akolawole:
I stand by my statement which says " it may not be inciting to the southerners but may be to the core North"Southerners cannot be compelled to think irrational, they use their head well well, no leaders impose anything on them. The bunch of OBJ's critics are southerners. Isn't it?
I hate to disagree with you but the supposed rational southerners are the ones with their pants down lately (convicted Balogun, disgraced Alams, usurper Adedibu and Uba, Niger Delta kidnappers, the dangerous police led by southerner Ehindero etc and the very Obasanjo himself)

Your site's categories exclude me. Iam a Nigerian but not in any of the listed categories. How about Nigerians in Europe?
Nairaland GeneralRe: My Case Against Evolution by demmy(m): 5:38pm On Feb 03, 2006
Evolution as a THEORY makes more sense than the biblical creationism. Simple. Besides hasn't the recent DNA decoding makes that apparent?
Web MarketRe: How To Advertise Your Website Without Spamming? by demmy(m): 4:49pm On Feb 03, 2006
Why are people still wasting time making personal sites? Nobody visit static personal sites anymore. If you have something to say get a blog, say something useful and there is your ad. Or if you have interesting forum site (like Nairaland) or CMS (like nigerianbloggers etc) or news site (e.g nigeriaworld) Outsides of these, personal static sites wont get you traffic.
ProgrammingRe: Java Has Failed! by demmy(m): 4:38pm On Feb 03, 2006
It is still this same 'write once run anywhere' feature that makes Java slower than C++. The byte-code is only an interpreted pseudo-code when deployed and still need to be compiled before it is run.
PoliticsRe: Ideological Divisions In Nigerian Politics by demmy(m): 5:29pm On Feb 02, 2006
In the present Nigerian frame of mind, political ideologies outside of "power of money" is untenable.
ProgrammingRe: Java Has Failed! by demmy(m): 4:50pm On Feb 02, 2006
Of course javascript is not java. Javascript was originally called Livescript by Netscape its developer, but renamed it because the name java seemed cool at the time.
PoliticsRe: General Malu Regrets Not Overthrowing Obasanjo by demmy(m): 4:45pm On Feb 02, 2006
Malu's speech is not "inciting" because:

1) He is no more in the service.

2) Prospective coup makers don't need Malu "inciting" them to plan coup if they'd set their mind to it.

Oversensitivity is dangerous people. Remember the Miss World bloodshed because of oversensitivity to harmless statement?
ProgrammingRe: Java Has Failed! by demmy(m): 4:20pm On Feb 02, 2006
I think what has failed are java applets, those javascript like client side programs and not JAVA. Many software and games are being written in JAVA, even for mobile devices.
PoliticsRe: General Malu Regrets Not Overthrowing Obasanjo by demmy(m): 5:32pm On Feb 01, 2006
From peoples' reaction here I see we wail about democracy but we really don't want it! embarassed

PoliticsRe: General Malu Regrets Not Overthrowing Obasanjo by demmy(m): 4:14pm On Jan 31, 2006
I can't see anything treasonable in that speech as much as I disagree with it. Its the same thing as me saying I regret not stealing books from the library when I was in school. stupid maybe but not treasonable.
WebmastersRe: Critique My Screenshot by demmy(m): 3:36pm On Jan 31, 2006
Nothing to critique on there buddy. Not legible. FYI Seun limit the size of attached files. Load it to in high resolution and post the thumbnail link here.

I think the control javascript is missing.
SportsRe: Now What? Guinea Or Tunisia? by demmy(op): 8:13pm On Jan 30, 2006
But we'll have to lose to Senegal by not more than a goal and Ghana to beat the Zims by 3 goals at least for us to come second to face Guinea. Dicey. huh
SportsNow What? Guinea Or Tunisia? by demmy(op): 7:55pm On Jan 30, 2006
After Guinea's surprised white wash of Tunisia (3 - 0) which side is preferable for Naija in the Q-finals? I was eyeing Guinea before but after this night's result well I don't know.

PoliticsRe: Oil Pipelines Dynamited in the Niger Delta by demmy(m): 6:54pm On Jan 20, 2006
Yet its only in one area throughout the Niger Delta all these troubles are brewing from. Bayelsa state and mainly the Ijaws. Bayelsa state according to the Federal Ministry of Finance is recieving more federal allocation than any other state in the country yet nothing to show for it but guns and sponsored kidnappers and other trouble makers while their elites are building houses all over the world. Heard the ogonis make trouble lately?

PoliticsRe: Oyo State Governor Ladoja Impeached At Last by demmy(m): 4:32pm On Jan 18, 2006
Its disgusting to read people compare Adegoke Adelabu with some old thug like Lamidi Adedibu. Adelabu was not a thug. He was not a trouble maker. He was erudite, articulate and very very educated with vision. Please stop comparing rotten orange with diamond.
