@shango all those crocodile tears that Oprah is using in her media marketing is what? Dangote did not play me wayo in order to sell his salt, sugar, rice, cement or juice to me. |
Okay. |
There are various military men for various reasons. Some are medical researchers, others are psychologists so they don't need to be actively engaged in peace or war. The generals or colonel or sergeant that reaches retirement age should be retired. There are 140 million Nigerians more than sufficient people to replace them. Abeg, job creation cannot take place when those that have finished working don't vacate the positions they occupy. |
What can I say? This is really something. Well, lemme not ruin your fun sha, carry go. The Jogodo continues. |
I believe they will pay up without much hassle. Just for the sake of information, the PHCN is no more a State Facility. |
@olufunmi it is not only wrong, but it is illegal on the part of the 28 year old man if the love is reciprocal. @Bblack why do you have to bring virginity into this matter again? |
@obong You have to state clearly what you are saying. You just up and said he was "less of a priority" rather than clarify if that was what your personal assumption of what the government's position was. Our powerful ally is the one sponsoring MEND in particular, so don't take things for their face value. What do you mean by "the igbo man's mission"? @topic for those of us that do not understand much about law, please avoid engaging in indepth legal discussions so that we will not start comparing a case of murder in the family with a threat to National Security. |
@angel & Planner I think I talked too fast. The lights went off by 7am and came back on in the evening. Dem don repair the switch but I hope the case doesn't get as bad as your experience. |
@Danmasani it makes a great difference to vote in a well educated man. It is impossible to use Mugabe's to generalise about all educated people around the world. elections which were "rigged and massively manipulated" according to you, do you absolutely believe Buhari, Utomi, Atiku or Okotie won these elections? Please feel free to let us know. |
I think we better start re-grooming Donald Duke for VP because in the next two years, the proverbial "Goodluck" might not be there anymore. For Yar'Adua's good work to continue, we cannot continue harbouring a man who is working in the exact opposite direction from the President. Like I said before, Yar'Adua did not publicly declare his assets for showmanship. He did it for the sake of promoting transparency in government. It beats me that his vice would come to undermine all this. First, it was refusal to declare the state of the Bayelsa State accounts publicly, now it is refusal to declare the former Bayelsa state governor's assets publicly. Is anyone noticing the coincidence here? This man is corrupt! |
Lekki O! Abi is it because of those new prepaid meters? There's something strange going on. |
I'm afraid of PHCN O! I have constant electricity for about 6 days straight now. Almost a week! I fear that something is wrong. Maybe the switch for shunting our line off is broken. I'm scared that when they fix the switch, they may put off the power for a week. It just feels abnormal. The last time I experienced this kind of constant power was in '97 so y'all can understand my apprehension. |
@TayoD US did not help build any sovereign state. They drove away the excess slaves that would not be needed in for nation building after the abolition of slave trade. Do you know how many people died during these systematic expulsions? If there was so much love and care from mother USA, why didn't they settle all the former slaves? Why was there segregation of the rest African indigenes that remained if mother USA loved Africans so much. When the other trips were planned by the African Americans to brings some of their populations back in the early 1900s, why were they blackmailed and their effort thwarted? Could it be because they wanted to reduce the minimum wage labour force to uncomfortable levels? I don't think Al Qaeda and the US are one and the same, I know it. You want to tell me you don't know that Bush and Bin have longstanding ties? And finally, you did not remind me of my words, you twisted them an claimed it was someone else that said them in order to achieve your end. If you are afraid of being reminded of things you do, then be careful of your actions next time!!! |
@TayoD Thank God you're beginning to use the word that they have been avoiding all this while: COLONISE. Now that it is clear that Iraq was colonised, I need to remind you that one of the principles of colonization is divide and conquer. This is applied in the early stages which is at least the first 10 years. If you do not know that divide and conquer was massively employed in Colonial Africa, then I don't know how else to put this to you. It is after the natives have worn each other out that the Colonialist can then obliterate the remaining resistance forces and get a grip of the Colony. From there, maximum exploitation of resources can be embarked on. Right now, Iraq oil is not being siphoned maximally but by then, it is Iraqi labour that will be used to drain Iraq. Divide and conquer is too easy to carry out in a place like Iraq. But you know what am talking about because even you have tried to apply the same tactic on Nairaland. If I wasn't experienced, I would have fallen for it. However in Iraq, all it takes is for you to bomb one mosque, then wait and watch. If nothing happens, bomb another mosque belonging to a different sect, then use the media you control to start spinning tales and fanning flames. In back to the genesis of it and see how it all started. Same system employed in Palestine just after Hamas won the elections. It's my duty to remember. Once again, thank you for helping to clarify that the Iraq issue is simple Colonization. |
China's economy is booming. Currently the world's 3rd largest economy, it is foreseen to take the prime position in just a couple of years. Trillions of dollars of exports leave China every year especially to the USA. The goods are simple and cheap. But why this recent fear of Chinese goods? the USA gets imports worth $290 billion from China and only sends $60 billion to China. That amounts to a $230 billion dollars trade deficit per annum. COULD THIS BE THE REAL REASON FOR ALL THIS BLACKMAIL? Is the assault on MADE IN CHINA any different from the media bashing of Venezuela, Iran and Nigeria? Is this different from the media assault on Russia during the cold war? Finally, is this the beginning of THE SECOND COLD WAR? |
@Afam when I saw the message, I was totally lost. But I still managed to maintain my cool. Till this very second, I don't know how. But I just want to prevent further neverending arguments. Nigerians have always been suffering so it is alright if Russia invades us and multiplies our suffering hundredfold. This is what I personally refer to as psycho-logical reasoning. |
Wow! Tell me about it. This is strange just like Nigerians have always killed Nigerians, at least 5 cases per month. So when the US come to amplify it to about 100 individuals per day, their plan is that no one would notice. So Americans have not always killed Americans? What difference will it make if China invades them and cause interracial killings exceeding 1000 casualties daily. Would it be okay with you Mr. TayoD? Or only Captain America is allowed to do that. |
I was not among those that believed he was going to be a puppet. I am also not among those that believe that what he is doing right now is not a continuity of governance. I'll vote Yar'Adua over and over again. |
@dimka why didn't you post any of those millions of scam letters of US origin that are blowing up your mailbox. Just check I'm sure you'll find one Jury selection Fraud Telemarketing scams Health Insurance scams Travel and Holiday scam letters Penis Enlargement scam mails View Webcam Stocks/Shares Scam Home Delivery scam Invented Gadget Scam College Scholarship Scam Investment Opportunity scam Counterfeit Prescription Drugs Funeral and Cemetery Fraud Fraudulent Anti-Aging Products Business Franchise Fraud Internet Auction Fraud Visa Lottery Fraud Poetry Competition Scam. Non-Delivery of Merchandise Mortgage scams Debt Cancellation scam letters. You didn't see any? Check your bulk mail too. The fact that we are too smart to fall for their scams don't mean they are not trying to scam us. Compare the amount of scam letters in your box that originate from Americans to those that emanate from Nigerians. So they are the ones who try to scam the more. The fact that they hardly succeed doesn't make them innocent. Negroponte and his gang are pulling a scam of N18,000,000,000 with the OPLC scam format and nobody is complaining. |
@TayoD Afghans killing Afghans today is as a result of Terrorism Made In USA. Iraqis killing Iraqis is as a result of Terrorism Made In USA. I don't know what else you want me to say. |
@LexyHeart now that it is clear that you are average, I can begin to understand your freedom of choice. This data wasn't available to me earlier for processing. take care. |
@obong do not provoke me here with this your "less of a priority" talk. The Federal Government of Nigeria has neither the will, the zeal or the facilities and resources to hold harmless Nigerians captive. No human being is less of a priority and I hope in your heart you regret that statement. However, I believe why Uwazurike has not been released is because of ongoing negotiations on how to further calm down nerves on this Biafra issue. It is more complex than Asari and the Niger-Delta militants who just want more money. I just pray that he doesn't get tempted to drink tea. |
What?! Who told you that?! Who told you that Afghans are not massacring each other, others and whatever else is in sight. Oh! Not to forget the addition of South Koreans. They killed one today. I say, what do you think is killing those Afghan policemen? Is it the flu? |
@mazaje the Iraqis didn't just wake up one morning to start killing themselves. There has been order in Iraq for years. Somebody triggered off something. Who could it be? Could it be Saddam? Could it be Saudi Arabia and Iran? Or perhaps the all loving and caring USA. Don't be in a hurry to choose an option. I have to add one more. Could it be errr, Haiti? Who could it be? |
Make dem go build their Military Base for their papa land. We will vigorously resist it being built in Nigeria, and we will vigorously resist it being buil in any African country. Unless we will also build an ECOMOG camp in New York. |
@LexyHeart You advice tall women to marry tall men. You also advice short women to marry tall men. Yet short men do get married. I wonder to whom. I have a very tall sister who married a short man. You should see their kids. Lovely. Marrying someone with physical qualities which you lack is not about what's cool. It's about having children who are balanced and thereby having progeny that can easily and favourably continue your lineage. If a woman who is 6 feet tall marries a man who is 6 feet tall, by some chance, they could give birth to children who grow up to be 8 feet tall. i.e freaks. And these will have problems just fitting into society, let alone finding mates to continue their further generations. If they stubbornly go ahead to find people that are 8 feet tall too to marry, then, that's the last of the Mohicans! Short people too, the same goes. Don't marry anybody with similar attributes as yourself. Nature forbids it. That's why siblings don't marry. Because their genetic make up is virtually the same and they may transmit lethal genes to their offsprings or any other genetic flaw in the both parents which will most probably double in their offspring. So you're skinny, marry someone chubby; you're yellow skinned, marry someone who's brown skinned; you're tall marry someone who's short. In addition, do not marry anyone who shares the same allergies with you or easily comes down with the same ailments or has the same weaknesses. Complement each other. In case it is not naturally ingrained in your instincts, do it for consciously your children's sake. Only averagers can mingle freely. I hope you now understand that when we're preaching this opposites attract thing, it is not as simple as it seem. Just because most times it is instinctive doesn't mean it is not complex. The principle of "AS" genotypes not marrying other "AS" boils down to the same concept. So when we're simplify complex biological survival instincts provided to us by mother nature, don't dismiss people as only trying to make a point. It is actually rocket science if you want to look at it per se. Just say you don't understand. |
Opposites attract. A lot of tall women don't like tall guys either and a lot of short girls like tall guys. So one way, or another, the equation balances itself. |
@chidichris did I hear you say" justice after such a long time" or "injustice for such a long time"? God bless America! We're talking about people that the government knew were innocent even before they went to jail more than 30 years ago! I wish you this kind sweet justice too in America. Heil Bush! |
We go move go front small, dem go drag us come back small. Whether the devil likes it or not, this Uwazurike guy will be released as soon as possible. There were negotiations with Asari Dokubo before he was released, there will be negotiations with Uwazurike before he is released. My only fear is that he should not drink "tea" during any of these negotiation sessions. He'll be alright and out to watch the Premiership. There's no need for any curse or show of primitive means of warfare. It will just make the BBC's work much easier. |
