Eiyah, they've released him? That's good news. At least let him not die in government custody. |
Vote for the great and powerful Elephant do away with the prancing donkey. |
I wonder why some people will rather discuss about the soil profile than how this country will get better. |
@MILITIA thank you jare. Please do not feel outnumbered due to my absence. Vote enmass for the great and powerful ELEPHANT, shun the stupid donkey. |
They're too soft jare. Let a discipline and principled Republican take up the helms of authority and continue the good work that Bush has started. Why is Halliburton not converting? Does his post as vice president disqualify him from becoming president? Dick Cheney for President 2008 till infinity and beyond! |
Justice has been served. This is good news. I celebrate this. |
Vote for Republicans they always stand by their word. They say what they mean and do what they say. Republicans have a backbone and prove that America is not all talk. Under the Republicans, the stock market in America has risen and risen, I hear the unemployment rates have dropped, the US has won two wars. Things are going good. I believe the Republicans should be given the opportunity to continue what they have been doing. I fear that the war against terror will not be taken seriously by the democrats. They are cowards. Be it Obama, Clinton, Howard or Bidden. They are all spineless. |
It's 2 years which has almost been totally spent. |
If you want to list Ministers, nobody said you should not list ministers. But you tell me how many Hausas have been governor of Lagos or Calabar while they were the Capital city of Nigeria. Forgive me if I'm wrong too but I don't know any. |
@doyin13 you're just saying the absolute truth about these Nairalanders. All of us are just tribal bigots and religious extremists. Rumour mongering, idle tale-twisting junkies. This is what we come to this site to do all day. Nothing else. But it's just fun, and that's why we do it. That's why we love to do it. |
This is one of the questions that I usually would not answer, but I have to. I see lack of assets in a lady as a sign of being under aged. Even if she's 30 years old and without the big titties and lumps on the behind, she's just like my baby sister. And when a chick has huge titties and monster cheeks on the behind, I don't even think it's necessary to find out her age. I just put her between 22 and 28 which is over legal. That's my personal philosophy and it's unique to me. |
@McKren & aisha2 you guys are saying the same thing because Dariye did all of the above. So I don't care which specific vice he was removed for. This is what happens when people contest for governorship without adequate background. They think everything will go smoothly and they would steal a couple of millions and their tenure will end happily. Nigerian governors are not even prepared for a scenario whereby indigenes of one state will declare war against indigenes of another state. They are not prepared on how to manage the worst, yet they buy governorship forms. Dariye should also be charged with negligence of duty leading to the loss of life. Because that is just what he did. |
Please. They reported that the killers were black because they want to start buck passing. One day you'll know what this is all about. But I guess today is not the day. |
@olofinjeje that statement you quoted earlier is enough. I say imagine Richard Quest on CNN doing a report that women have a lower IQ than men. He even goes on to say some women are just absolute chicken-heads. Then he ends the CNN Special Report saying: "I know we're going to get a letter from a woman saying that not all women are daft. But don't bother sending that letter, we already know that." "We're just talking about this particular level of idiocy that is going on." "We're not talking about the entire Womenfolk or everybody that is a woman". olofinjeje, what do you think would have happened? Do you think women would say "O some of us can be daft at times" Do you think that will wait till he says all women are daft? If they heard that Richard Quest later said on a different program that "all women, no matter their level of education, are idiots" do you think they would doubt that? Knowing full well the precedence he set for himself? Please you people should stop waiting for the dragon to raze down your village before you believe it can breathe fire. It is a dragon, smoke has come out of its mouth, people from other villages have said that it incenerated their village. Slay the Dragon! |

The next President will be Ibo. It is now that all Ibo Politicians should start consolidating their efforts. Whether it is in the next 4 years or the next 8 years the current government will end, the Ibos should start preparing themselves now. Tangible intellectuals should be brought into the country not separatists like Ojukwu. You guys love him, but nobody trusts him. There are Ibos that the whole of Educated Nigeria will agree that they deserve the Presidency. There is Phillip Emeagwali and there is Emeka Anyaoku whom I believe are both outside the country. They should be brought in and polished in Nigerian politics. There's also Chukwuemeka Chikelu an asset that has almost been discarded by the Ibos. He has that Donald Duke charisma. Ibos should lobby for him to get a ministerial appointment during this first Yar'Adua tenure and let all Ibos help him perform exceedingly well. He didn't have a chance for governorship this year, but he should be brought in during the next tenure, let him rule a state for 1 tenure with perfection. Let the state flourish exceedingly among all Nigerian states, let foreign investors be brought in and let all the Ibos abroad that are doing biafra this and biafra that, pump in investments into that state's economy. They should liaise with the major corporations and secure their support. They should partner with the Chinese, Indians and Russians while at the same time remaining friendly with the Americans. Today, all the world powers are interested in what happens to Nigeria. If they don't trust you will be for them, you will never be Nigerian president. Abiola was killed by tea because he once mentioned the word REPARATION. Political allegiances should be bought with the South South and the North. Somebody has to be left out. You cannot carry everybody along. The PDP must be infiltrated by Ibos and captured. In terms of gross membership and gradual control and take over. Then of course maintain a partnership with the Northern ANPP Party and pick a Northern Vice President that will give the Hausas confidence that after the Ibo president leaves, it is their turn again. That is how politics is. Forming a new Ibo party will be wasting time, and trying to build up APGA is useless. APGA should be amalgamated with the ANPP, forming a party of conservative Hausas as majority and Ibos as minority. The Ibos in PDP should then make a peaceful but conscious take-over of the whole PDP. By overpopulating it with their people and also lobbying some politicians with money. Any adult Ibo indigene that is not part of the new APGA/ANPP Amalgamation, must be part of the PDP. The Ibos more than any other group, should be the major force behind a Yar'Adua/Jonathan second term victory. That will secure a position for them with the South South and the North. You can't just be crying Ibo Presidency till the very last minute of 2011, then you expect just like that it will be handed over to you. Then there is the issue of duality that a lot of Ibos don't know is their enemy. If you want biafra, you struggle for biafra and you will get it. If it's Ibo Presidency and solid political presence you need, put your efforts on that and you will succeed. Don't be here today and be there tomorrow, just according to how the wind blows you. That is very naive in politics. It's like telling me that a NEPALESE will become Chinese president or a Chechen will become Russian president. They see things are bad, they say we want to go. They see things are improving, they don't make noise. There is a great principle in life but people don't take it too seriously: "STAY ONE PLACE". Try pursuing two different university admissions equally in UNIABUJA and UNN at the same time and you will realise what I mean. You can see the example of Bode Augusto; one leg in AC, one leg in the PDP. Is it making life easier for him? Ibos better get your game straight because there's nowhere else for the presidency to go the next time around. There's just nowhere. Unless you want it to. PS: I used the word Ibo to refer to the tribe and Igbo to refer to the language. |
Make Oprah go South Africa to hire some HIV babies as adoptees. It will give her something to use her time for. Afterall, a HIV baby is better than a stillborn. She should take heart. No be Dangote abuse her, no be Mai Deribe pay her for sex, no be Mike Adenuga put Ogbanje children for her womb. Someone within her owns. Carlos Slim has become officially rated the richest man in the world. Did Bill Gates blackmail him? No. Oprah should take it like a man that she is. The coveted crown she has spent all her life trying to buy, it belongs to someone else. A Nigerian. So she best stop hating. Somebody that says some blonds are dumb, it won't be hard to find him saying all blonds are dumb. So like I said earlier, na from clap them dey enter dance. Oprah has been talking very rude and full of her self since she passed the billion dollar mark. See the way she humiliates some African American guests who behave as nicely as possible. Yet when her white Gods like Tom Cruise and John Travolta do whatever they like, it is fun to her. I hope she doesn't mistalk about someone in the mob and gets whacked. |
Yes. We have to be ever vigilant. The Recent London Terror Attack. Muhammed Haneef set free on account of Inconsistencies in the evidence presented. It's a shame on them if they fool us once, but a shame on us if they fool us twice. |
Because Oprah Winfrey get $1.5 billion, she go curse some people mama and papa, dem go dey use smile dey explain wetin she actually talk. |
Some people will not understand the meaning of END THIS THREAD. |
So British people don kill decent hardworking Nigerian and all I hear is that it is sad. British people are not all killers. It is just only sad. Meanwhile, did you notice that they didn't forget to mention that the shooters were black? And somebody is saying "we". Are we the three British men that shot this innocent Nigerian dead? Now they have segregated them to black. But if they won a gold medal now, they will be British. they keep killing the Good hardworking Nigerians and they complain that only the bad ones are left. |
@mantutuman you're among those that contributed towards Oprah's wealth that is causing her to insult us now. @Tornadoz corruption is in your blood. So it runs in your family, including your parents and your generations unborn. I'm not trying to cast aspersions on you. Am just breaking down a comment you made. Those saying that we should boycott everything Harpo for one month are not serious. She'll just lose like $20,000 out of $1.5 billion. A lifetime boycott including calling on DSTV to drop her program or we drop them for hiTV. @akanze she does not have the right to blackmail a whole country. @dblock to corroborate what you said, it was a labelling also, "the Hamitic myth" that was used to justify slavery. @somze if somebody says all women are chicken brains on CNN, what do you think would happen to that person? And by the way homegirl, Dangote is three times richer than Oprah. She's just selling a dream that even she doesn't believe. Dangote wealth is well gotten and he's been helping Nigerians by making essential commodities available at low prices. We just don't want to acknowledge the truth. He doesn't have the image and popularity because he's not a TV presenter. But financially, Dangote bags Oprah in his pocket 3 times. Lastly girl, our ancestors were not slaves too and it wasn't us that raped and impregnated her with an Ogbanje. @kilasos Americans not greedy that an American senator will come to Nigeria to collect wash-wash dollars. If you feel embarrassed, then their tactics are working. They demoralise before they destroy. And remember that they can't do this to you unless you let them. @babyosisi if you take Oprah's comment with a pinch of salt, then you shouldn't be bothered about Sweet T's. ALL THIS IS BECAUSE SHE'S GOT WIND THAT HER NEW LOGO "RICHEST BLACK PERSON" IS NOT GOING TO HOLD BECAUSE OF A NIGERIAN. SO NOW SHE WANTS TO DISCREDIT AND DISREGARD. Sokpona fire that Ogbanje factory. Beast of No Nation! @Caradona Oprah's ancestors do not come from Liberia. Maybe her ancestors went to Liberia, because Liberia was one of the least populated areas during the slave trade. It was after the slave trade that most ex-slaves settle in Liberia, making it what it is today. She's just making stories up. Her DNA test links her ancestry to the pigmies and that really broke her heart. Na Nigerians send that old hag to go do ancestral research? @beetintin your parents are Nigerians that are idiots and a stupid couple. Hope you know that is what can be deduced from your statements. ANY TREE THAT DOES NOT BEAR FRUIT WILL BE CUT DOWN. BUT THE TREE THAT REFUSES TO BEAR FRUIT WILL BE UPROOTED AND BURNT. |
2015, when I get into government, I will move a motion towards banning virginity! |
@MILITIA I tell you say we dey reach 100,000 together so don't worry about me. I dey here. Before you came on this thread, I've posted on it. I don't need youtube to tell me how to be a Nigerian. I'll watch the video tomorrow. I say na una wey dey there dey perpetuate these crimes. |
@Akiika We are her people, she can discuss cases with us as it affects our general well being as long as it doesn't affect the outcome of the case. |
Osunbor should leave Lucky to contemplate what EFCC is going to do to him. Somebody that has misappropriated more than N60 billion, what is the use of probing him for N450 million. Make Osunbor commot road for EFCC jare. The funny thing however is that EBS had one of the best transmitters in West Africa as at 1999. I think it was the then military vice president that came to launch it. Why is Lucky now buying a new faulty one? This is strange. |
@n-guage the question was to list governors and party affiliation not to help us draw inference from your point of view. |
@WesleyanA look at the issues that were treated. How many of those people are located in Nigeria? In fact, ask Sweet T. |
It is the Nigerians abroad that perpetuate these crimes. Yet na them complain about the corrupt state of Nigeria pass. Na them like wetin Oprah dey talk pass. I don proffer solution say we in Nigeria have to send pictures and information of Nigerians we know living the US and UK to their homeland security so that they can be easily investigated. |
Ojo Madueke must have done so much for Nigeria which we do not know. For that mad man to qualify as a minister in a country of more than 140 million people, it is shocking! |
I don't want to marry a virgin O! I don't want to go out with a virgin. I don't even want to know a virgin. I don't know where you people are getting these stories from. In fact, if I unknowingly marry a virgin, I will divorce her when I find out. |
