I don't have any faulty information source. I was clear awake when CNN first confirmed 7 dead.

Then a medic on site confirmed 9 dead. 9 dead that he had identified physically. Only for me to wake up in the morning to find that the dead had reduced to 4 and then increased only recently to 5. Well, halleluyah.

That in fact is the statement I'm talking about right now. It is wrong for Oprah to insinuate that Nigerians are corrupt. Is it not a fact that a lot of white Americans are corrupt? Is it not a fact that African Americans are drug infested? But how come we've not heard it on BBC? Because you must have a political agenda before spitting those kinds of statements.



As for your generalised statistics, I don't need to prove anything because you said it all. That a great deal of Nigerians are corrupt. I'm just trying to show you a picture of what it means when you make such a statement.


There was a time this kind of statistical figures crept up when I was in UNIBEN. A guy was trying to prove the figures released by the school authorities that 30% of UNIBEN students were HIV positive from testings carried out.

At the end of the argument, I reminded them that one among the 3 of us was HIV positive and they began to deny.

If you don't know what statistic imply, I suggest you avoid them. I don't even think you know what "a great deal" means.

Well, I was worth N1.5million last year in cash (I didn't very much believe in banks till after consolidation) then N80,000 worth of shares in Access Bank and N40,000 in GTBank. Also there's N500,000 in WEMA Bank (which I believe are completely worthless, inherited from popsie).

Today, I'm 28 and am worth N2,000 in cash, sold all my shares except about N1,000,000 from N500,000 in WEMA Bank which to my are as good as inexistent (e just dey rise with slow motion).


But don't worry y'all am coming back. I'm making N20 millz by the end of this year. Nothing dey happen.

You were so certain a while ago about your statistics but now we're using your family as sample population, you begin to get very iffy.


Be very careful what you say. We know that there are pedophiles as christian priests, we know that the cases are not rare. But when a popular Saudi Arabian muslim TV Personality begins to make blanket statements on an international station, then you will know that there's an agenda.

Saying that not all Nigerians are corrupt but they are anyway, you may not see the effect of that seemingly trivial statement, but in a few years you will. That is in fact the effect of the statistics you quoting. That more than half your family is what is ruining this country and are the scum of the earth.

If my above statements are as correct as they are in line with your logic, then I suggest you start waging your war in your own households.

I've already said it that the only way OPEC will suffer is if there's nobody else willing to buy what OPEC is selling. But as it is right now, if the USA stops buying crude from OPEC, there are other willing, eager and able buyers in the market who will not only start buying more from OPEC, but will maintain their current buying status from non-OPEC countries so it is the USA that will have great difficulty finding new sources of crude. We all know that the whole world including the USA is operating at maximum crude production. So where will they get the extra 5.6 million barrels from overnight?

And I hope countries that are currently experiencing the worst monsoon flooding ever this year and those regions in the USA that experienced the most devastating hurricanes in their history can begin to turn their suspicion on someone and stop assuming that it is just the work of God.

If Fashiola has no standard plan on how to uplift the people of Lagos State, he should resign or be impeached.

The way women dress these days just goes to reflect the tilt in the ratio of men to women. They are just working in line with the vigorous competition for men that has become the reality on ground since the 1990s. The young Brazilian is innocent of anything that would have warranted police attack that saw him recieve 7 bullets to the head from the British.

The Independent Police Complains Commission (IPCC) said de Menezes wore or did nothing wrong to arouse suspicion and did comply with police instructions before his head was sprayed with bullets from every direction.

The anti-terror unit on the occurrence of de Menezes death claimed that he was dressed suspiciously and acted suspicious before he was halted in the event of which he refused to obey orders whereby the Police let bullets rain down on him.

But the IPCC report indicates that he obeyed all instructions and there was nothing extra he could have done to save his life. The IPCC says that police lied about de Menezes not cooperating, they lied about his immigration documents not being in order, and they lied about him acting and looking suspicious.

As de Menezes has been cleared of any provocation in his resulting death, his family wonders why no policeman is being punished for his death.

China recently used cloud seeding to cause rain in Beijing after a long dry spell. China's neighbours are forwarding accusations though about China "stealing rain" by seeding clouds which would have otherwise floated to other countries to rain if they were left to follow their natural course.

Australia has also shown considerable success in cloud seeding.

Most times, in temperate environments, cloud seeding results in rain. This was recently used in Israel where it snowed miraculously a couple of years back.


More destructive uses for cloud seeding are been researched by the USA.
Operation Popeye carried out by the US 54th Weather Reconnaisance Squadron Extended by the monsoon reason by about a month in Vietnam during the war as far back as 1967.


The United States Military has been carrying out experiments on Modifying hurricanes in the Atlantic Basin since the 1960s under Operation Stormfury. They have so far been successful at worsening otherwise mild hurricanes, increasing the damage capacity of small hurricanes and generally making them thousands of times more severe.

At this time, it is unclear whether the hurricanes KATRINA and RITA are some of those experiments which spun out of control.

the reason why I had to mention it this time is that when people are in the midst of a debate and Almighty Seun bans them, others will not realize what happened. They'll think you're not posting because you have nothing to say.

So I think it's best I let him and everybody know that what he is doing is manipulative and very bias.

I was quoting an American, John Stewart, who said just 2 days before the collapse of the bridge that with the flooding in England and other recent disasters around the world, "thank God that everybody is now getting an equal share of what is going on in Iraq." John Stewart is an American and he or his program has not been banned. Why Seun go come threaten me for nairaland to show sympathy or else?
