Christianity Etc › Re: I'm Gradually Turning To An Atheist, Is This Normal? by Denique(f): 10:10am On Sep 28, 2020 |
Frenzy01: I no longer believe in religion or going to church, this development is quite surprising due to my upbringing in a staunch Deeper life Christian home.
I find myself laughing sometimes unconsciously when someone mentions prayers as a solution to a problem. Maybe this is due to the fact that I've prayed and fasted for years for a financial breakthrough but all to no avail.
When I see people that are less religious or morally corrupted doing well and presiding over the overly religious people, I feel bad the more.
I don't wanna believe anymore in chopping life for heaven, I wanna Live a good life also here on Earth.
I hope I'm not going over the board? I hope everything is still normal with me? Just like you, I was born in the Church too but left a few years ago. You can do same— find another Pentecostal church that aligns with your spirit but, don't STOP being a Christian, please. Shalom! |

pocohantas: I am sure it annoys me more o. That thing dey make me vex ehn! It isn’t transparent to me and I don’t do business with such people. I just want to be sure I am not judging them harshly. Maybe their intentions are noble. They do that to afford them the opportunity to put varying price tags on their goods and/or services depending on who is buying or their perspective of you! It isn't out of place to call such people cunning. |

WoundedLamb: And just be a beautiful woman and even the most powerful of all men would trample on each other to worship what you have in between your legs. It goes both ways. Pretending you don't know that wouldn't stop it from being a fact. If this is true (which I doubt), she did not sleep with herself. And if she's single, the married president should be getting a better chunk of the blame for cheating. But you clearly left him blameless to focus on the woman as usual just so that you'll belong to the "manly" team. Black Africans practicing misogyny and speaking against racism is the most ridiculous thing ever. No wonder no one takes y'all seriously. Don't bother quoting cause I ain't responding. Seun, you need to give us “A Billion Like Button”! |

post=94319066: Bestie, PMB won't be the president by now if our country was going in the right direction in 2015,
But we are happy you put past and present leaders together. Unlike some &(&%$@# here that paint the picture that Nigeria was like Canada, Dubai or America before PMB became President. That is our only gross with some kids that quote us negatively on this forum. They always see the negatives and never one positivity or development.
Sure.... Nobody can deny that there are very serious challenges in the country, particularly in the areas of security, the economy, and standard of living generally. But that is not all there is to Nigeria of today, and those challenges are being addressed very robustly. That hymn says “behind a frowning providence, He hides a smiling face. His purposes will ripen fast, unfolding every hour.” We will surely see an end to the challenges, if we all work together, and eschew hate speeches.
By the way, we will still find out the time to reply your quote with us 2 days ago. We a Only wanna take time to reply, so you can know our stand on this forum. We will do that this weekend as we promised. God bless you and your family dearie. Oh, that! Do give me another mention when you modify and God bless you too! |
