USAutoBuy:I think that is why we have different businesses then. You run yours the way it suits you and i do mine the way it suits me. I get parts on credit, I get exchanges and I get refunds. This is not internet repair experience but real foot-on-ground experiences. There is no point arguing out experiences....mine could be different from yours....there was a time people thought the earth was flat-based on their experience... By the way, I just got a full refund for an Hyundai Tucson Cylinder Head only last week. Vendor sent two different sets and all had issues. How much transaction do you do with each individual vendor per annum? Or you just pick the next available seller once in a while? |

Wrecking a premium engine manufactured in 2007 demands for the arrest and permanent detention of the driver. What other economic sabotage can be greater than this? This engine was designed to last for 50 years at the barest minimum. Heck, my 1969 German engine still purrs like a kitten and it shows no signs of previous overhaul. To OP: Get your VIN and confirm exact engine spec in your car. Then do proper online research. Get up and take a trip to Ladipo. Do a search. You would be surprised at what stuffs you can get. If you cannot find in Ladipo, scout online and possibly take the offer of N650k first or 5000 USD. Even if the N650k engine is bad (which I doubt), get a guarantee that it will work or funds would be returned. If possible, use the seller's mechanic and pay balance after completion. Final step is to fire your driver. He can only drive cheaper Toyotas I really feel for you |

I asked for details of my goods but strangely, my mails were no longer responded to. I sent a total of 6 extra emails/reminders and not a single one was responded to. As at this moment, there has been no communication from shoptomydoor stating the location of my goods...these are goods I have been expecting since last month. I have paid shoptomydoor over 500 usd in the last month and had intended to do more before December. I have over 5 different car projects already waiting for these Beetles to be cleared and I am being treated in this manner. My business is being affected by the delay and it hurts so badly that a company can treat one of their customers as if he was just a unit number. I urgently wish this issue would be resolved and my goods delivered to me ASAP. Thanks cc Seun, lalasticlala , puskin, naijacutee, FOD, dominique, admin and all well meaning Nairaland members. |

I first thought it was a dream and sent another email to verify. The guy blatantly told me to disregard all previous communication as the information provided by shoptomydoor was wrong. The wrong information being that they have finally agreed to ship my goods after a long delay. This implied that my goods were not shipped again!

I waited for the weekend to arrive, expecting that tracking details of the already delayed shipment would be sent. When I did not get any detail on Monday and Tuesday, I sent them an email asking for updates. I was met with a shocker. I was told to disregard all their previous promise of shipment. In short, my goods were not shipped over the weekend as promised. The respondent even asked for shipment details AGAIN implying that he wants to start the resolution all over without having time to simply scroll down the mail trail to pick the information Attached is their email.

In order to reconfirm, I sent them an reply asking for exact details of when my goods would be shipped. They sent an email confirming that it would be shipped the next weekend. Date of email 31st August 2016

SECOND LIE Next they sent another email that they actually placed the goods in my unit address which was also wrong and which I discounted again in another mail to them....now back and forth has started. I quickly sent them screenshots of my unit warehouse details showing an empty warehouse and no fabled delivery. In simple terms, my goods were not in my warehouse and not on my hands...goods that FedEx had delivered to shoptomydoor since early august still unaccounted for in September. This is me, a customer who has just lost around 400 USD worth of goods by shoptomydoor's negligence being tossed up and down with lies... Also attached is a screenshot of my purported warehouse with no goods on same date (even till today)

FIRST LIE Initially, they tried to blame the mistake on the possibility of the package not being labeled correctly with the unit number.(mail attached) This was a lie because as I explained earlier, we make orders with the exact shipping address given to us by shoptomydoor which includes the unit number. I discounted this with a copy of the shipment order from JBUGS which had the unit number and correct shoptomydoor address. Kindly also find attached the order confirmation from JBUGS. You would be able to notice my unit number clearly stated TWICE in this order.

You can imagine my shocker when I got to the workshop last week when the package finally arrived only to see just a few fuel filters and some spark plugs as the whole shipment when I was expecting door panels, full car upholstery, flared exhausts etc. I had goods worth around 400usd missing and i did what every sane person would do. I complained to them first via that chat platform. The person on the chat platform said there was nothing she could do as I had to send them emails. I cleaned my oil stained hands and composed the required email to them. I got a response that the request was been looked into and my ticket number was 1377290 Date mail was sent: 30th August 2016 Promised resolution 24 hours

So I decided to make another payment on 19th of August, 2016 which was exactly 11 days after my package from JBUGS was received by shoptomydoor from FedEx. Attached is the receipt showing their confirmation.

In order not to cause confusion, I make payments for shipment to them on Thursdays or Fridays. This was to ensure that all the goods received by them was shipped on the next Saturday as they have promised. I made my final purchase on the Volkswagen Beetle from jbugs.com on 3rd of August 2016 and this was delivered to them by FedEx on 9th of August 2016 and it was received by Chowora at 1.46pm USA time (please see attached). Before this date, I have made different payments for goods and they some were already being received albeit delayed and with abrupt deliveries occuring. In addition, I noticed that if I pay for shipment on a Friday and I received goods on the prior Wednesday Tuesday into their store, that good would not be included in the package despite my shipping bill going up, and them actually mailing me sometimes of the delivery. I decided to wait a while before I ship the final package so as to allow them fully consolidate.

Shipments started arriving into the warehouse assigned from 25th July 2016 and they kept dropping in almost on a daily basis. The parts we were ordering were much and most orders were made as repairs showed extra needed parts. The first shocker I got was the cost of shipping. It was excessively high and totally different from what was advertised. Due to the exigencies of the job orders, we decided to continue the usage if they could deliver goods on time. |
Immediately upon confirmation of account and receipt of their Unit Number, we started shipping not to the exact address which we were advised by shoptomydoor. As customary of all re-fowarding companies with virtual addresses, the unit number is critical and we ensure that ALL our shipments had that unit number when we ship to them. I buy my parts from different stores in the USA and used the exact same address. I usually reconfirmed from the order details sent by the stores so there was no time any of my goods were shipped without their Unit number. |
Hello all I would like to share my experience about shoptomydoor and would please want to use this medium to seek redress as shoptomydoor has decided to ruin my business and its relationship. As some people know, I am passionate about classic cars and I have shared some restorations and details in previous posts. I run a classic car restoration business and in order to restore to international specs, some parts are usually imported. I have had previous negative reviews and experiences with shoptomydoor but on the instance of a close associate, we decided to use them for shipment of parts for two Volkswagen Beetles under restoration. I opened a second account with them on 20th July 2016 which was strictly for the car restoration business in order to keep track of costs |

Shoptomydoor despite having received over 500 usd from me in shipping costs in the last month has been dubious with my multiple shipments. They secretly withheld a shipment and have refused to send it. Details upcoming as it is being dragged at the moment. I would be reporting them to the US regulatory authorities if the issue is not resolved. I have carefully stored pictorial evidences and tracking details |
