Everything in Nigeria is messed up. It is practically impossible to mark all those papers and produce the results in 3 days even if robots from pluto marked them. The only exam that you can get your results that fast are computer based tests, and its possible because the system automatically give points as soon as the correct answers/options are picked. More so, your correct exam details are already loaded. What will happen to students that filled their exam details wrong on the scantron or the ones that the machine can't pick? Where is the benefit of the doubt, if the system is buggy/faulty? Where is the quality check/ control? How were the results verified for correctness? Decentralizing the marking is subject to fraud, how were they able to transport the scantrons to a central place hitch free without hanky-panky? Rubbish results! |

I will appreciate any insight. If you are dedicated, you can read and write ITIL foundation in 2 weeks.
Wow guys check this out. My Company just installed Citrix on their network and its is so freaking cool. i dont have to worry about software installation via group policy or going to each computer to install software. The down part is i have to start learning Citrix like hell. But anyone here has experience with Citrix?
Wait till they virtualize all your servers, you'll marvel at the offerings of the players in this state-of-art technology such as VMware. I'm a huge fan of information security. I foresee cyberwar in the nearest future, especially with the global awareness of cloud technology. I developed in interest, read and passed CompTIA Security+, ISO 27002 Information Security Management and CISA. When Windows 7 launched, I studied it like mad and went to write the exam Configuring Windows 7 - 70-680. You have to give it up to Microsoft, they got it right. I foresee companies deploying it as server 2003 is being retired. People run away from exchange cos, you can easily get fired when the CEOs email is bleeped up( and they usually do). That's why it is the external consultants haven! |

maclatunji: So that he can Becomerich So that he can Becomerichyou catch it lol |
maclatunji: Some points:Musiwa pays Seun to host his maps. |
mekaboy: LIKE I SAID PEOPLE KEEP SHOUTING SECURITY THAT THEY DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND. PLS EXPLAIN THE SECURITY AND GIVE EXAMPLES, DONT BE SHOUTING SECURITY .If your android/iphone is stolen by a knowledgeable thief, he can attach this device to his computer and use some tools to circumvent the passcode and get access to your pictures, documents and other vital information stored on it. Whereas, if you apply proper security setting on Blackberry and this same thief circumvents the password, the data- your whorish pictures, your late night shenanigans with ladyboys stored on the phone memory and media card would be unreadable. |
^^^^When all you do on blackberry is to log on to Nairaland, facebook and 2go, you can't appreciate the importance of security. |
joanana: Who told u that bb is secure? Sorry it has been hacked. Check d weblink belowHacking their blog online is different from hacking the device. all4naija: Lol @ your fallacy!falla kini? |
all4naija: The major problem with RIM is lack of innovations. I don't even think the company listen to consumer opinions and views. There is no way BB can succeed without looking at what is popularly very unique. There apps are very limited and the browser sucks that without it it is hard for you to use third party browsers to download. The business circle alone cannot sustain RIM market base in this present time and the general public they have to focus on must be those going after the latest make of iPhone and Android based Smartphones. Do you know that BB pioneer voice command in handset before iPhone and other makers started adding it to their lines with improvements?BB is not really for fashion but a business tool. They were being greedy going the consumer way, they should have focused on their unique selling point and core competency which is data security and stick to corporate customers. They are the most secured mobile platform out there. Government of countries like UAE, Russia etc had agreement with RIM to relax the security so as to monitor activities. Organisations that are security conscious like the MI5, FBI and CIA deploy BES where data is encrypted end-to-end and unhackable. More reason, you can't see the Obamas of this world with iPhones and Androids that can be jailbroken or rooted to gain admin privileges. |
RIM can not die. They ventured into an unfamiliar terrain and were burnt. They will now channel most of their resources to service Enterprise platforms. |
You can only win the jackpot if the organisers want you to. They rack up these mega amounts to generate more money from gullible players. Just play your normal $10 worth and keep your fingers crossed. |
^^Ok sir |
You are wrong!! Its part of their practice. . My company firemen are alway there during fire drill. They use it to assess how long it takes to evacuate the building, how long their response time is and how well organized the fire drill is. Also to run checks on the fire alarms and extinguishers. Fire drills are never a waste of time. I can bet you that some people who have died in fires are those who thought it was just another drill and had a lacadesical response to it.
Fire wardens are different from firemen. If firemen are present at every fire drill, that constitutes waste of firemen's time and danger to humanity! |
