OP, if you invest with our micro finance bank, we would give you 50% interest upfront. If you are lucky at the end of the term, we would pay you the capital. Please call our Financial controller on 08034568732. You won't regret this much! |

maclatunji: anny101, you seem to have married a recluse. I am reclusive with outsiders like crazy too but not with my family. Although, I am now forced to relate with people.
I think your husband will be difficult to crack. However, let me advise you thus:
We men are programmed to appreciate two things; great food and sex (even for guys who are not crazy about it).
So, do you know the kinds of food he really likes? If you don't find-out. Then, prepare them in excess, let him eat and eat. By the time he is full-to-the brim you will have in the palm of your hands. Enjoy him after that.
I know some of us men are not crazy about sex but that does not mean we don't like it- only that the conditions have to be right.
You are a woman, provide allure to your husband. This is not necessarily about wearing skimpy clothes, it is about engaging his mind. So meet him at the moments when his attention is engaged on something and subtly embed yourself in his thoughts; football, news, politics, gaming whatever. Let it be that whenever he thinks about his favourite football club or whatever, he also thinks about what you his wife says about them. Over time, he will value your inputs and companionship and there is a small limit to a man valuing his wife on anything without him wanting to make love to her. You should learn to maximise these situations.
Always sit by his right side not his left, humans have been found to be more willing to do things whispered into their right ear.
You have a lot of work to do to grab your husband's attention, but whatever you try don't be desperate.
N.B: If all of this fails, just go and sit on his laps (preferably when your daugther is not around). He is your husband, you have a right to do that. #Laughing. Speak for yourself okobo! |

With your level of experience, you should know that direct cutover is risky and not the best way to do things. It should have been a phased operation. |

Theblessed: So, this divorce wrangling is still being analysed?
Oh please, we all should get a life now - make we leave it for the UK courts to decide, abi?
In the end, we shall all see whether she's gonna go home with a $2. 5million divorce settlement or $21million, abi?
However the matter ends, all we know is that, the courts here will administer justice and justice must be seen to be done in this 15yr marriage? So, make una go home, keep watching this space - my verdict is, the lady is not going home with a $2.5 peanut lai, lai, lai!!!
Even if the guy like, make igo drag all his village people and list them as his partners in the business - ino go work here!
You know what? The lady would receive a good and handsome handshake for a job well done and, that's a promise! In fact, it's so good the guy laid most of his eggs in the Western markets, abi?
The investigation that follows this drama will be very thorough - there is no hiding place and there is not bribery, here!
In fact, the investigation in this divorce war will not only expose the guy and open up a lot of worms in his business but also, make him vulnerable to the British Tax system - the British Taxman, will be very interested in him!!! Goodluck!!
And definitely, the lady would receive justice here, as for Nigerian courts? Ignore! Rapu okwu!!!! or she can take the case to Honduras, the settlement to the ex wife in that country is 90% of the husband's wealth. |

bukkytroni: I agree 100%. The knowledge is invaluable. You read the papers, and you know what whoever economists or finance gurus are all talking about. Most importantly, the knowledge will help position oneself for opportunities.
For example, I never really knew what bond was, how its traded, the YTM, etc until I delve into L1. I used to think bond was some kind of chemical and wondered why will state government be selling chemicals(lol).
I am studying CFA for these reasons. When I have the charterholder, I will become a PRIVATE WEALTH MANAGER for myself first. Why should I pay a fund manager for doing what I tell him? I have strong interests in Private Equity though (the fun of sitting on the board of many companies because you have controlling interest). I am also very much interested in the economics of emerging markets and plan to have the number 1 leading economic research firm focused on frontier, emerging markets and the 3rd world nations.
That for me is the PURPOSE for writing CFA
Speaking for myself, Nice to know you have a roadmap of your career, some peeps just do these exams to become paper tigers. BTW, are you still in CISA? Tolulop001: ah ahn did someone play kalo kalo with your millions?
Bukkitroni no vex but bond = glue! (dont mind me its all luv!) What millions? can't you see these FX traders doing kalo kalo on the computer everyday and not producing anything tangible? and I also get pissed when they get bonuses for making losses. Like lloyds is paying £350m bonus to staff when they declared loss of over £700m. It doesn't make sense! |
